was recommended to me by a designer.
Seattle Furniture Repair Shops Provider Name Locked
worked on a large number of projects in my home for over a year. He is a painter, but also refinishes furniture, hangs wall paper and can install inserts into closet doors. He was always professional. He is highly skilled and can contribute to design work as well as paint decisions. His estimates were accurate. He was prompt. His fees are not a bargain, but he is worth the money. His work is unbelievably good. I recommend him without reservation.

When I first received their bid I couldn't believe it, since they were significantly less than other bids I received. I frankly was a little concerned until I read other Angie's List reviews about them; others also sing Memory

I will definitely call them the next time I have a refinishing project.

"They did a really good job with those repairs. They were able to get it to a soft and silky finish. They were able to give me an accurate cost estimate up front and delivered on that estimate."
"One was an old sofa with an excellent frame, and because I am very much concerned about allergies and toxins, I asked for all organic foam, and real latex and organic wool and cotton, and the costs just mounted up. It looks beautiful, but I thought they were horribly expensive."
"Everything turned out great with this company. The quality of the work is exceptional. The office staff is very professional and friendly. I would use this company again."
"Everything went great. They took it for a few weeks but it looked great when they were done. I can't remember the price but I know it was reasonable."
"They were very quick to respond to our phone inquiries. They were able to estimate when they would pick up and deliver the sofa within an hour, and were punctual for both pickup and delivery. The quality of the repair seems to be very good. The cost matched the estimate. Only negatives were that they seemed relatively expensive (although I really have no other data points for comparison), and they took a little over two weeks to complete the repair (which was what they had estimated, but still seemed a bit long)."
"Everything turned out great. My initial phone call was returned promptly. I received the estimate one day after the home visit. The piece was picked up on time and the furniture movers were careful about not nicking the walls or woodwork. All repairs were nicely done and the hutch looks beautiful. I would definitely use this company again."

quoted exactly how many days the job would take -- 2 days on-site plus 9 days in their shop -- and lived up to their quote. They provided an exact price quote at the beginning of the job, and lived up to that quote too. They came to my house, quickly removed the balusters to take them to their shop, where they use a continuous-flow stripping tank that doesn't raise the grain. They couldn't remove the newel posts, so these and the handrails were stripped in-place. They returned in 9 days, and completed the remaining stripping, sanding, and lacquer application during the next 2 days, as agreed. I'm a perfectionist and an amateur woodworker, with a critical eye for detail. The revealed wood-grain patterns are beautiful, with not even the smallest blemish. A very fine professional team, each with a specialization -- colorist, lacquer spray, etc. These experts have been working at

for many years. In this age of cheap mass-

"For each project I showed them a sample of the wood finish I wanted to match. They mixed the stain and showed me a sample for approval. In each case the finished product matched exactly no matter what wood the stain was on. The bookcase was made of fir with pine shelves and they adjusted the formula so the two woods turned out exactly the same color. Most of their work is done in a spray booth at their shop but they will do work on your site if necessary. Everyone in their shop is pleasant and professional. I am an architect. I am not easy to please. I have always been very happy with their work."
