"Purchased Big Deal from Angie's List for 4 hours of
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
service. We were having new light fixtures and an exhaust fan installed and wanted to have the ceilings patched afterwards. After we purchased the Big Deal,
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
contacted us through Angie's List messaging. They were ready to set a date for the
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
work, but as we had not yet purchased the items to be installed on our ceilings, we asked to leave the date for the
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
work initially open. Regal told us "no problem," and then checked back in a few weeks to see if we were ready to schedule. We weren't at that time, but when we contacted them the following week with the date we were having our electrical work done, they suggested we schedule
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
work for the 2nd day following the electrical work, in case the electrician took an extra day. Very good planning, which we wouldn't have even thought of. They came out on the date scheduled, got right to work -- spreading out tarps to catch any
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
mud, repaired cracks and spacing around two replacement light fixtures, patched a good-sized area where we installed a square fan/light in our bathroom that replaced a rectangular fan, and took care of two small wall repairs. They left the mud to dry and returned on the date we set for sanding, once again keeping their work area clean -- work was performed in our bathroom, kitchen, and dining room and no dust was left behind! The cracks are gone and you can't even see that a 3" x 6" hole in our bathroom ceiling was ever there. Great job. We are very pleased.

"The crew/team were professional and job was done on time. The only complaint I have is that you can still see the tape lines in four areas they taped /textured. I used a high grade primer (Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3), but the primer didn't hide the tape visibility.
Additionally, one of the guys broke my hanging light in my dining room. I was outside and heard one of them say "crap" really loud but did not notice the light until I was doing the clean up a day later. I didn't see it happen but I suspect that's what the noise was about.

"We were unable to hire
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
because they never got back to us with a quote and I was very disappointed in their communication and professionalism.
I initially contacted
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
(the owner) by phone at the end of September for a quote but never heard back. We were hoping to have some work done at the end of October. Then I wrote an email and still did not hear back. At this point I should have cut my losses, I agree, however we really needed the service done, and the other reviews on Angie's list were so good I thought this was an aberration.
On 10/15 I purchased the big deal to put towards our work. We still did not hear back from them. Finally, in the first week of November, I called
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
again. This time he answered and informed me that he could come by to look at the job later that week. We were already behind schedule so I was hoping this work could begin promptly. He told me the job would cost in the range of $2000 and that he would get an estimate to me later that day. We were dismayed because this was much more that expected, but were still hoping to get an estimate as we needed to proceed with the work.
We never did receive an estimate from
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
and after another phone call to request a bid, we decided to go with another company who completed our work in the next week. As as side note, they were $500 cheaper than the verbal quote that
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
gave me.
Several weeks later on 11/17,
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
from
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
called and left a message telling me that they would like to "come by our project to give us a bid". When I contacted them to let them know that we had gone with another
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
company due to their lack of response, they immediately got back to me (for the first time!), informing me that I had not requested a quote from them and that we had spoken after our meeting and I had said that we didn't want to proceed with the work! I was shocked as this was blatantly untrue and this alleged conversation did not occur.
We have requested a refund from Angie's list for the big deal and would not look to
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
again for any type of work.

Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
and his crew were responsive, courteous and did a great job, including with clean-up. They also were helpful with insurance claims and made suggestions re: how to work best with the insurance company. Plus,
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
is a very nice guy. I highly recommend
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
and his staff.

Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
of thumb is never go with the cheapest bid and there is a reason why, it’s called
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
. I actually used these guys on two different projects. The first project was
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
repair through several rooms of a house. The guy they sent out was a “new hire” and I’m so glad they used my house to test out his skills. The guy spent more time talking then actually working and when he was supposedly done the end result was nowhere near perfection.
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
did come out and spent another day fixing the previous workers mistakes.
Stupidly I picked them for another much larger project, hanging and finishing
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
in a 988 sq. ft. apartment. Once they started the project I had to call no less than 7 times to inquire where the workers were right in the middle of the job. Their excuse was either they were just so busy or “he’s not there?” There again the finished project was left unsatisfactory. They didn’t clean the dust off the walls before spraying PVA which left a very rough texture on what was supposed to be smooth walls, they hung
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
over one of my air vents, they sprayed over all my light bulbs and light switches because they didn’t properly prep and they left several areas of
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
holes for me to fix. In total I had to spend no less than two days fixing their
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
issues myself. Granted I’m not the fastest drywaller but I know what it takes to do a proper job.
In my view the reason
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
can do a project for less is they hire out all sub-contractors and they just act as the general contractor which is fine in most situations but if the general contractor never sets foot on the project then there is no accountability for what the sub-contractors are doing. Therefore their sub-contractors are taking advantage of them and in turn they turn out a poor product. I would advise to spend a little more and hire a more professional outfit for your
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
needs.

"Two guys showed up on time and reviewed the work area and answered all my questions. Very polite and knowledgeable about the questions we asked. We agreed on the areas to be repaired and a small price adjustment for an extra we requested relating to a peeling seam on the
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
. They taped everything off, erected a visqueen
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
around the work area and then executed the work, which was a fairly small job and completed within the two hour window we had (four hours of labor service deal). We received the quote for the additional work and discussed some paint color options. The price for the painting was significantly higher than we expected, but we decided it was better to have a completed project than only half way done and we requested that they contact us for scheduling. Shortly thereafter we got a message that everyone was sick in their office and they were taking a couple of days off. And then we just never heard from them again.
The work they did was good quality work. Their timeliness and professionalism during the appointment was perfect. I suspect that we were just too small of a job to really catch their interest in following up on the painting, which also accounts for the price being far higher than anticipated.
I've marked that I would use this provider again - and that is true; for any work we do in the future I would consider a quote from them and would award them the work if it met the price and time restrictions.

was diligent in asking good questions to clarify our plan and offered advice that ultimately improved the plan. We also worked with a designer, Kayron Brewer of Studio kb. We as very supportive and worked well with her on any issues or questions that came up. The work he and his men did is great; electrical, plumbing, concrete, tile
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
, tile floor, tile wall, built-in tile shower bench, quartz counter top, bench, and window sill, painting, heated floor, vanity/sink install. He was also unusually responsive to our concerns and preferences. He recommended using an epoxy grout which doesn’t smell once it’s cured and which doesn’t require re-sealing and we look good in 5 years when we want to sell. We was very responsive and offered to pick up quartz and finish it himself so we could remain on schedule for Christmas completion. He picked up additional tile and can light, too. We found
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
and his installers to be real craftsman when it comes to tile work. Not only was their work meticulous and polished, but he had an “eye” for quality and aesthetics but he knew when to ask for our input In addition, we and his crew found him to be professional, polite, honest, trustworthy, and a pleasure to work with. We have teen daughters so we were a little worried about strangers in our home. But they were nothing but respectful. They vacuumed their way out of the house every night and painted the hall outside the bath. And they finished everything and cleaned up the worked area in garage and all the construction debris were taken to the bump. All in all,
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
exceeded our expectations and we are very excited about out new bath. We highly recommend working with
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
and
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
and have 2 more bathrooms for him to remodel in the next year.

"It went well. They are a professional crew that gets their job done. They arrived on time and If they need to they will work with you on the schedule. The mud work is extremely messy and since I just had concrete I didn't require any floor covering, probably not the best choice. This is not a good plan mud gets everywhere and then the texture and primer gets sprayed around. Eh, its a mess but I'm going to cover it up so not a huge deal. Just be very specific and sure of what you want. Make sure to inspect after hanging and address any issues at that time. My window wraps had an inconsistent
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
and now look a little crooked. I think I can live with it but it is something that I thought a tradesman would at least give me the heads up on. The masking of windows and overspray locations was not the greatest either so you have to be on top of that as well. They did get paint on exposed portions of the windows which they did clean up as best they could. Made me uneasy. But then there were other details that came out amazingly well. The bullnose wraps around the beam in the basement and they kept the lines really straight along the angled soffits this all turned out really well. The window wraps even look good when you disregard the problems there.
Each worker does his job really well and Teak himself is a master organizer and keeps his employees happy which is good to have when people come to work in your home.
So lessons learned. Specify any detail you think you may be bothered by if it doesn't happen and then specify some more because once its in it will cost more to redo it. Then specify the condition you want it left in. Inspect every detail as they go so that you get what you want. So the B for quality has to do with the lack of proactive information about the window wraps and some poor masking. Somewhat small things really but that detail left out turned me from ecstatic to pretty happy with the quality.

"This was great!
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
fit this small job into his busy schedule and got it done for us. In addition, he coordinated with our tenant to do the work as it required multiple trips for repair, mudding, finish, etc.
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
emailed our tenants to coordinate times and work around their schedule. All in all,
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
did a first class job at a fair rate and is very easy to work with.

"So,
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
seems to rather focus on working on houses, which seemed to be a big difference over a bunch of other folks I got quotes from, or tried to get quotes from. I had originally talked with
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
about doing a bunch more work, but ended up just getting the drywall work done, which he seemed content to arrange. The
Seattle Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
overseeing all the drywall guys was a pretty nice guy himself and kept us up to date with where the work was and when to except the various teams coming in for their stage of the work. It was my first time seeing drywall work actually done, and it was pretty impressive seeing it go from a bunch of drywall sheets screwed to the ceiling to a nice smooth and primed finished job. I'm pretty happy with the work done - we did find the occasional drywall mud drip afterward which is kind of pain to get off, but overall a minor complaint.
