Drain Pipe Installation reviews in Seattle

Two to five or more men worked from Monday morning until Friday night, staying one day 13 hours in blistering hot weather. All were pleasant, kind, patient with our questions, tried their best to keep us tied to the line most of the time. In fifty years of living in this house we've never had such fine people work so diligently and patiently with the various inevitable glitches (roots etc) during their labors. This company is 'word of mouth ' only, so they try extra hard to please their clients. A favroite realtor recommended them,

Benz owner, saying they do fine work for many house and business clients. I can't recommend them any lower than A++++. Nobody wants a sewer replaced but this company makes it as painless as possible.

In June

came out and did an assessment regarding the seepage into the basement. He was familiar with how the homes were built in the area and verified that a footing drain system was placed around the exterior perimeter of the concrete foundation when the home was originally constructed in 1952. They started with a flow dye testing that was done to entry walkway and within 20 minutes seepage through crack in foundation was viewed. They viewed with a video pipe camera that two footings were cracked so the water was not going into the footing drain system and the other three downspouts were rerouted poorly into the french drain. There was also standing water in the entryway that they would have to address. Along with the foundation crack that was easily repaired inside but outside required saw cutting the stamped concrete and excavating soil to the base of foundation, which was digging 6 feet down.
We received the bid with a set of plans that showed locations of all the work that needed to be done:
Damaged footings repaired
Five downspouts redirected into the footing drain system
Saw cut stamped concrete, excavate soil down to base of foundation, repair crack and install bituthene

and filter fabric faced drainage composite up foundation wall, backfill remaining soil and replace concrete. Although our original concrete was stamped they let us know that due to age and texture the new concrete would not match. However, we found some leftover concrete color mix and they did a very good job at matching it.
Installed two yard drain basins in the front entryway to correct standing water and connected them to the footing drain system.
High pressure water used to test system several times.

, the office staff to schedule job and workers at our home were all very professional. They did a fantastic job and returned the area back to our original condition. It has been 4 years and over 141 inches of rain thru 2013 (per

I first met

in December 2012 to look at short-sale house I bought. The house had obvious signs of water intrusion and there were several foundation wall cracks in the garage. I wanted to make sure the foundation was sound and would be good for the next 7 to 10 years when I'm ready to do major work on it.
Seattle Drain Pipe Installers Provider Name Locked
had a lot of very positive reviews on Angie's, and I wanted

's opinion on it.

came by to give it a thorough examination, and told me that foundation-wise it was fine and would not need any immediate attention, but he recommended that structurally it should be completely redone for the long-term. Even though his feedback meant no work for him on the house in the near future, he was willing to speak the truth, and from that point on I knew I could trust him.
In April I listed my Greenlake house for sale and got an offer over list price. The buyer instead of using a licensed inspection person, used a family construction guy to perform the inspection, who told her that my house had major foundation issue and needed $30K to fix. The buyer backed out after I declined to drop price outside of offering $8K credit back. For my own peace of mind, I needed to know whether the house indeed had severe foundation problem, so I asked my agent to contact

to examine it - I was vacationing in Quebec at the time.

came out and told us that there was no major foundation issue, but the footing, post and beams had to be done/redone, and I was quoted $5100 for the work and guaranteed to pass professional inspection.
The work started as soon as I got back into town, and finished promptly and nicely, and the basement looks so much nicer than before. The crew did a great job cleaning up the site each time they left for the day, and I so much appreciate

's integrity, professionalism, and quality of work.
With the house vacant and a 'tainted' back-to-active-on-inspection, we decided to re-rent the house, and will list again a year from now. I will update about inspection then. Thank you

They did a fine job. I felt the price was a little high for the amount of work done and the quality, but other contractors came in much higher, so what do I know? After the fact, I felt it was something I could have done myself for a third of the price.

, who works in the office, was helpful in getting everything organized and helping me with some paperwork I had to do since this work was done as part of a renovation loan.
The work quality was okay. The crew left some of the useless, old system exposed above ground and didn't really clean up after themselves (the grass was replaced unevenly and they left rocks all over the yard), but when I mentioned this to

, he had them return to clean up a bit at no additional charge, which I appreciate.
A few other contractors mentioned to me (during my estimate process): "

will come in much lower than us on price, but we'll provide a higher quality product". I think this is probably an accurate sentiment, but, in the end, I was OK with what

I would highly recommend
Seattle Drain Pipe Installers Provider Name Locked
. They are responsive, professional and thorough. They also came out twice at no charge to fix a couple of minor problems we had unrelated to the original job they did for us. I've used them a couple of more times for other jobs since they installed the drain and sump pump.

came out to site to give us a bid which was prepared readily. We felt the price was reasonable and he gave us a couple of options to choose from. Took a while to get scheduled for the repair since this is their busy season with all the spring rains. Scheduled the work and they kept with the schedule,

arrived on time and made quick work of the repair. He was very professional and pleasant to work with and we felt the work was done first rate. The work is under warranty for 5 years and also is transferable to the next owner.

came out to review the problem, and proposed a solution. He sketched a plan, and gave an estimate before leaving. About one week later, a crew of 2 men dug a trench, put a pipe in this, connected with 2 downspouts, and created 2 gravel catch basins. From the start, all contacts and work were efficient and prompt. The job cost less than an estimate we had from another company.
- Ina C.

The estimate was provided promptly, and clearly delineated the costs (and additional costs) involved. The service proceeded as planned, without any surprises. The staff was courteous and professional.

did a large sewer reline project at my home. The price was competitive with others quotes I received. I did experience a few gaps, like the lack of a detailed report and some gouges on my driveway. I brought it to the attention of the owner and he immediately drove out to my home, met with me and promised the driveway (which was just resurfaced) would be returned to it's previous condition.

also made sure that a detailed report on the work done for my records woudl be in the mail in short order. I appreciated the immediate response, great customer service and gurantee that my driveway would be cleaned and repaired by the owner himself.

I've been watching my neighbor get the sewer line replaced and it made me think how lucky I was to have hired
Seattle Drain Pipe Installers Provider Name Locked
for the work at my house, which reminded me that I needed to post a review on Angie's List about them.
They were very efficient, and the work was done in three days. My poor neighbors have been at it for over a week :(.
I was very pleased with the work done and although I hate spending money on stuff like this, I have to admit that not having to worry about the sewer backing up is a real joy.
They had to dig down through my concrete patio to get to the line, and dig down to the line at the end of my property just at the end of the steps before the sidewalk. My House is on a hill and the sewer runs down to the street. I was really glad they didn't have to dig up my steps or run a trench all through my yard. They also had to dig three holes to run the new water line. One in the cement driveway, one in the yard and one by the house to connect everything along with spigots and shut off valves.
