"The guy took forever to get back and forth with me. I gave him full details and sent him pictures of everything that I wanted. He actually emailed back and said he wasn't going to do any of that because he actually worked fulltime and this was a part-time thing for him. I was completely annoyed with this guy because he wasn't a full time contractor. He said that he was busy with his job for the rest of the month so I should get someone else. I didn't set any timeframe on him. I went with another handyman. He basically made me jump through some hoops and then didn't want to do the work. I was just basically frustrated and found someone else."

I elected to have all the work done. did great work for a good price, and cleaned up well after the job. The whole experience couldn't have been easier. I'm very satisfied."

"Amazing. Fantastic. Dream come true. There are not enough adjectives to describe the work of the Hooker team. After seeing the reputation on AngiesList.com I gave them a call. We are tickled pink with their work and could not be happier. In fact, I am worried that if I give this review they might get too busy to come back and work for us again. In all seriousness these guys are professional, FAST but they don't compromise quality and work very hard. They show up early and stay late even after an exhausting day. is very intuitive and knew exactly where I was going with my design and gave me some great ideas for design choice. The quality and intelligent work you get is well worth the affordability of their bids. Craftsmanship is top notch. And they couldn't be nicer people! These guys know there stuff, 'nuff said. "

"We were very pleased with the results. Our deck looks great and the painting was beautiful. Overall it went well and they got the job done on time. I requested the painting be done a little earlier, if possible, for a special occasion and they were able to do it. "

"It went very well. The paint looks great. All the painted surfaces look very smooth and even, especially the doors. Everything was masked and taped very carefully, so there was no stray paint on other surfaces, such as the siding or decking. The washing was also very thorough. Our contact, , was responsive, courteous, and professional, as were the other employees (though most are not native English speakers, which makes job-site communication a little difficult but still doable). And they didn't ask for a dime until the job was done to our satisfaction. Overall, the entire house looks much better, and it was a very good deal."

"He came out and found the rat first thing. He also replaced the rotting wood and painted it. All his work was just perfect and he was very fast. I would definitely use this man again. Their pricing is expensive but worth it."

"They started in the last week of June and it took them ten weeks to do all the work. They paint job was not very good when they were done. I had to take four days off of work to show them all the bad spots and the spots they missed before."

"I liked that the first contact I made with them seemed very good and prompt, also very sincere. I felt confident choosing them over other bidders. He also had several good references. What I didn't like was that the paint job was not what I had hoped for. The daily workers were not being supervised every day. We had a difficult time communicating with the workers. Their idea of quality was different than my idea of quality."

" of was absolutely fantastic. Quality of the work is excellent and he went above and beyond to meet my expectations and the price was very competitive (second lowest of five bids). The exterior paint job was a very difficult one, it's an old house and had lots of old paint to scrape. was extremely careful about lead and showed concern for keeping things clean (I have a four year old so this was very important to me.) The wall to ceiling lines on the interior are perfect and they were careful not to up or damage the floors, which I had recently finished with Polyx oil. was also very helpful in suggesting 'green' paint alternatives, for example, low VOC, low odor options. Since I'm doing a certified built green remodel, that was important to me. Finally, I appreciated that , as the company owner, was in constant communication. I received almost daily phone calls to give me updates and get my input on important steps. Would highly recommend and I've offered to be a reference for them."
