Contracting reviews in Seattle

perfect no paint on trim, covered furniture and were very detailed. Cleaning paint off of hardwood floors and trim is painful. I had that conversation and they did an excellent job. Not one spot did I have to work on. anyone can paint a wall including myself but they were professionals and I appreciate the work they did

It went extremely well from the first meeting for the bid. The owner spent a lot of time with me discussing my various options and giving great advice on color selection. Throughout the process I was consulted and kept updated. They performed on a tight timeline. They also offered touch up service afterwards which was excellent. The trustworthiness, quality and the professionalism of

exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend them.

did a wonderful job converting an unfinished/unusable attic area into a storage area. They removed the existing insulation then built a platform high enough to add insulation back in and still maintain the R value. The platform added 60 sq. ft. of surface area for storage. A whole house fan was installed in addition to an attic ladder that retracts into the ceiling. The work was completed in less then 2 weeks and the crew was professional, conscientious, and kept their work space organized and clean.

knew exactly what to do and were able to deal with any problems along the way. The work they completed was excellent. They showed up on time and worked quickly and efficiently.

For the amount of time and cost of materials spent on the job I found the charge very steep and the results not very impressive, however it's not something I could have done better myself so it's hard to be critical. He did leave a clean and tidy work site.

and his crew were fantastic. The bidding process was easy and everything was clearly explained so we knew exactly what had to be done. Everyone was in constant contact with us before, during, and after the construction. The crew (

Poor guy even came inside the house a few times to advise or help fix some problems created by the (lousy) window installers that were working at the same time. He always had a big smile and (literally) worked ALL day - he doesn't stop for breaks or even lunch! He cleaned up every inch of debris at the end of every day, unlike the window installers who left trash on my lawn for days and my parking strip is still littered with their cigarette butts. The job ended up being far more difficult than planned because the original structure was so off kilter and more damaged than was visible beforehand, but all of the extra work (and expense) was discussed with us as it came up and we were able to make decisions on the spot as to how to proceed. I will definitely hire

in the future and highly recommend them.

It went very well.

were very responsive (responding quickly to phone calls, texts and emails), friendly, helpful and professional.
Seattle General Contractors Provider Name Locked
came and gave us a quote for the tear down and framing before the project and stuck exactly to the price he gave. Installation of the floors plus doors and trim was negotiated during the project and ther price for that work was very fair.
Throughout the project they were friendly and very helpful. They offered to build us a walk in wardrobe (and did not charge us for this in the end) informing us that the new room would not count as a bedroom if we did not do this. This was extra work for them, for no extra money.
They always cleaned up after themselves very well. They also cleaned up after our other contractors (plumber/electrician) who left a mess and did not care to clean up.
They were way more helpful than they needed to be - offering to pick up materials that we had agreed to provide (doors etc). Again - this cost them extra work and we did not pay extra.
They also did more than we expected when doing the trim work, going as far as caulking everything in.
Any little details that were not as they liked them, they took care of, returning as many times as it took to get the work up to their own standards of quality, which were high. This effort I really appreciated. We did not have to raise any issues with them as anything we might have thought to comment on, they already took care of on their own initiative before we had a

to comment on it. They also took care of a few things we would not have noticed.
All in all a pleasure to work with and very good value for money.

The quality of work was excellent. After it was completed the only call back was one of the chimney caps came loose and tipped over during the wind storm. They quickly came out and repaired.
The job was complex and it was performed completely to my satisfaction. The interior drywall work was done by

Seattle General Contractors Provider Name Locked
is a master carpenter and his interior trim work was the best. He did all the inside and outside carpentry work and did a great job. The painter

also did superb work. All the people did excellent and quality work. The roofing crew were top-notch and the gutter installers were the best.
There were some delays in the project that had to do with Oasis scheduling which should not be my problem. These delays were not due to a window that needed to be re-ordered. I felt my interior work should have been worked on and completed right after the new windows were installed (except the re-ordered window). I waited over 2 1/2 weeks to get my interior completed and the new hardware on my doors. They used the old hardware on the new doors temporarily during that time. That was not acceptable and was expressed so.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the work. I have heard many nightmare stories from folks who did major remodels and I did not have one with Oasis - albeit the delays. I would recommend them, but spell out the timing and scheduling details to prevent delays not due to supply vendors.

We originally asked
Seattle General Contractors Provider Name Locked
to replace a few steps on an outdoor staircase. He was quick to show us that the staircase had actually become dangerously unstable and needed to be replaced entirely - it was almost all rotted and someone would have taken a scary fall if he hadn't called our attention to the scary underside of the structure. He did this by calling us immediately and sending photos. I really appreciated how he quickly laid out options and worked with us flexibly on how we wanted to proceed. He is very careful to approve every estimate before beginning work. He took the rotted staircase down quickly and built a new one in its place. Even the temporary staircase was much better than the old staircase. I highly recommend
Seattle General Contractors Provider Name Locked
and his company.
