"Of the 4 A+ service providers I called from Angie's List, he was the only provider that I did not have to call multiple time to schedule an appointment, called back promptly, set an appointment and kept it, and submitted a detailed proposal and bid on a timely basis.

came to the house and spent 30 minutes evaluating the issue with the carport ramp and walking through various possibilities to fix it. He was timely and responsive, including to follow-up questions. I've decided to hold off on making a fix to the carport at this time but if I were to move forward,
Seattle Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
would be the only provider I would consider.

"They were great to work with in every way, and I will certainly go to them first for future quotes. The guys were easy to coordinate with, showed up on schedule and did good work.

was fantastic. They responded quickly to my inquiry, provided a prompt estimate (same day) and completed the work 3 days later. Given our classic

neighborhood, they did an excellent job texturing the work and coloring the concrete to match the era/period of our home (versus something

naked and ugly).
Highly recommend and would use

"I had them out to bid the work and their solution far surpassed my own plan for the job (and the other concrete contractors I had look at it)
They were able to schedule the work within a week and finished the job in a single long day.
Though the estimate and final bill was 50% more expensive than the next bid I received (from sole proprietor), I was won over by their responsiveness, project plan and (in retrospect) quality of work.

"My front stairs and walkways were in need of a complete overhaul. The owner of K & D Enterprise "

Caddy" submitted a proposal that was more professional and detailed than any of the companies I interviewed. K&D Enterprise will not come in at the cheapest but his estimate was reasonable to all other "established" concrete contractors. Trust me, after interviewing as many contractors as I did you will be suspicious of what some of these contractors can actually deliver. K & D Enterprises delivered exactly what they promised and saved the front of my home, adding significant value and appeal to the home.

Caddy does not subcontract out the work he is there on the job site each day personally doing all the hard labor as well as performing the delicate, finishing touch that makes the job more of an artwork. He completely understands how concrete performs and what the finished product will look like.

"This is the second job that Rich and his crew have done for me. Two years ago in 2011 I selected him to replace my driveway based on other Angie's List reviews. They did an excellent job then, and again this time when they replaced my driveway approach.
I have to give extra kudos to Rich for this job because we ran into an uncooperative city inspector with a chip on his shoulder whose actions delayed the project several times. Since the driveway approach joins with the street, a street use permit and inspection was required. We eventually found out from the inspector's supervisor that the delays were unnecessary. Throughout the whole thing Rich was calm and professional and came up with several solutions to stay close to my budget despite the unwarranted demands of the inspector, which also affected Rich's schedule and his other jobs. There was never a time when I was wondering what was going on because Rich always kept me updated and did his best to move forward with the job.
If you're reading reviews and looking for a concrete contractor who has fair prices and impeccable work, you can stop reading. I know this sounds like an advertisement, but you can't go wrong with

. They replaced my ugly, broken driveway in 2011 then replaced my just as ugly driveway approach in 2013. Both jobs look fantastic. I couldn't be happier with the results.

"This project is currently in-process. My house is on a very tight urban lot, yet Excavators NW was able to efficiently move in multiple machines and get the house in the air right away. The excavation process removed a huge quantity of soil and basically consumed my lot wall to wall between the dig and the required 1:1 sloping. The city of Seattle and my Geotech are being extremely strict with me, so the guys on site required a bit of coaching from me to get the cut to comply with the city's needs. In the end, we got the dig looking great and are now moving into forming the foundation. Save for a few days of delay due in part to excavation being more extensive than anticipated, a structure change on my end, and some staffing reorganization on their part, I would say the guys have made a good effort to keep things on schedule. Major earthwork on a tight, sloping lot is never likely to be pro-forma. On the whole, Exc. NW has been very responsive to me as an owner/builder. . The Site Leads,

very are experienced and thoughtful about their approach. One of the main reasons I hired them after our initial on-site interview was that I knew they would listen and work well with me to fulfill my project the way I envisioned it. So far that communication and trust has held up. Their pricing reflects their level of service. One of my main concerns going into an excavation process was a ballooning budget due to the unforeseen problems that come up once you see what's really under your feet. Exc. NW has been reasonable and fair with any changes that have arisen. Where others use changes as a

to gouge you, I feel these guys have played fair and simply haven't sweated the small stuff. I'll update my review when the project is complete. Very happy overall so far.

"Bill did an excellent job creating a new walkway from our driveway to our front door using both repurposed flagstone from an old patio area in our back yard, as well as some new stones he purchased. He cut the stones to fit and made the walkway and a porch area to our specifications. He's very fair in his pricing, courteous, communicative, and creative with suggestions. A true craftsman!

"We picked
Seattle Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
because he was friendly and had the least expensive bid of the two we got for the work we wanted done. We, unfortunatly, were not impressed with the work done. We had a sloped corner of our basement slab we wanted repoured to be flat. Per our contract, a "7 foot square" was to be removed and then repoured flat; his crew (
Seattle Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
was down in
Seattle Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
getting some equipiment for another job while they were at the house) removed a triangle shaped wedge, with 7' long sides. When our general contractor confronted him on this, they got into an extensive geometry discussion about what was meant by the phrase "7 foot square". To the credit of
Seattle Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
's crew, when they recognized that we had a large air pocket under the remaining portion of our slab, they stopped the work and alerted us. This gave them ample time to continue their habit of taking smoke breaks every 30-60 minutes. We also later learned, from other contractors, that
Seattle Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
's plan to repour the demo'd area should have included re-bar supports every 18-24 inches within the concrete, but it did not.
My other frustration with this buisness was the poor timliness of
Seattle Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
and his crew. Besides the aforementioned frequent breaks, we had a very hard time getting a definitive date that the work could/would be done. Also, when
Seattle Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
called at 7pm to announce they were coming the next day, he said they would arrive "around 11". He called at 11:30 to say they were on their way from Federal Way (a 20 minute drive?) and arrived at 1pm. When he then was working with us to arrange a followup visit to repour the triangle wedge, he said they could arrive at 9am.... but then changed his mind and said his son (one of his crew members) actually doesn't wake up that early, so the earliest they could start was 11am.
We ended up canceling the job with them, leaving the jackhammered concrete triangle open, while we reassessed options. In the end, we got bids for replacing the entire basement slab (because of the giant air pocket his crew had discovered). LJ
Seattle Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
construction was not among the companies we contacted for this bid. We went with a different company, who was able to demo the remaining entire 600 square foot slab in a single day--
Seattle Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
's crew had taken 3 hours and multiple breaks to achieve their 7 foot "square".
So overall, the price was fair for the work done.
The work that was done was not the same as that we believed was outlined in the contract, and was not to concrete standards, by our later understanding.
The crew took a lot of breaks.
The "office manager" works late at night (e.g. sending bids and contracts at 11:30pm); there's not an "office number" to reach people at during the day-- though we did have
Seattle Concrete Repair Contractors Provider Name Locked
's cell phone. We felt we had a hard time scheduling and knowing when the work would be happening.
