Seattle Computer Repair Services Reviews

"My computer was very slow, unable to access some programs and giving me problems in general. I called
Seattle Computer Repair Services Provider Name Locked
and we made an appointment for today. She came on time, was very efficient, explained everything clearly and did a great job. I am very satisfied with the work she did and, whenever needed, would not hesitate to call her back again.
"I will definitely call
Seattle Computer Repair Services Provider Name Locked
Computer Service next time I have a computer problem I can't solve by restarting the computer. Everything he did was well within his basic minimum fee for a service call. He knew what to do and how to do it. Problems solved! Best $100 I've spent this year.
"Mr. See came to my office, equipped with an impressive file of CD's containing professional grade software repair tools. He worked diligently until all my problems were taken care of, and then proceeded to charge me an extremely reasonable fee. He is a very pleasant and competent technician.
"Despite being listed on my sales receipt, when I went to the store, I was told that there would be a $100.00 fee for the
Seattle Computer Repair Services Provider Name Locked
to come to my home to perform this service. I explained that they had already set up my computer and I had paid this $100.00 fee, but for reasons I didn't fully understand, they did not make the recovery disc. I felt it was unfair to charge me for another home service. After speaking to 3 people, I was told that they did not provide this service. They could not really answer why they had tried to charge me $100.00 for this service if they did not provide it. That was eventually resolved by the BBB by having my contract for extended services with the

terminated. When the
Seattle Computer Repair Services Provider Name Locked
refunded my contract fee, they also discontinued my security program, Webroot. I was forced to pay for an entire year, even though I had just paid for a years worth of Webroot service. Pro-rating the cost was not a concept that the

I believe that the professionals who perform the computer services are very professional and excellent, but the people selling the contract and dealing with the customers in the store are just the opposite. They have poor customer service skills, have been poorly trained, and either try to defraud the customer (e.g. by insisting that I pay $100.00 for a service that they belatedly said they do not perform), or are just uneducated about the services offered. They obviously did unjustifiably take my money by making me pay for an entire new year of Webroot.
"They came out and examined the computer. The virus was too serious to deal with there. They took it back to their shop and fixed it. It works well now. They called several days later to make sure there were no further problems with it. The follow up was appreciated.

"Had an initial consultation over the phone and email to provide details for them to diagnose and recommend solutions. We then scheduled a date and time (a specific time, NOT a 4-hour time block!) at which the repairman promptly arrived. Work was performed quickly, professionally, and effectively. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future!
"Valley Tech does good work and they care about ensuring that you're satisfied. If you're looking for on-site work, though, be sure you understand what they'll be able to do beforehand.
My old desktop had become quite sluggish. I use it hard every day and was reluctant to take it to a shop (Staples is only a five minute drive), so the Big Deal offer of two hours on in-home service grabbed my attention. Bottom line is that my computer continues to work MUCH better and I'm very pleased with the result, but was disappointed that it involved taking the machine to the shop.
Valley Tech was not able to make their initial appointment at my home because of two earlier appointments that went long. They called in ample time and we rescheduled. Return of my computer also ran behind, but again they called well in advance to keep me posted, which I appreciated.
My computer had become saddled with some adware and malware which were impeding its performance, and the hard drive was quite full.

, the technician who did the work, rid me of all the junk and cleared some space on the hard drive. He explained the options and risks in understandable terms, and recommended both a RAM upgrade and a new hard drive. Given the age of the computer, I decided on just the RAM upgrade. The results were excellent and still are, three weeks later.
The disappointment: Within five minutes of
Seattle Computer Repair Services Provider Name Locked
's arrival, he asked me how I'd feel about his taking my machine to the shop. I told him that that was not what I'd bought. He said he'd do what he could, but would have more capability at the shop. That made sense to me, and it's been my experience that it pays to heed the recommendations of people who know their work, so I reluctantly agreed to his taking the machine. Between the weekend and a prior commitment on my part, it was five days before my computer could come home.
If on-site service is what you're seeking and you call Valley Tech, you will get good work, but ask questions and make sure you understand what they're willing and able to do at your home or office. I would not have bought this Big Deal had I known that the outcome would be two one-hour round trip drives (by them, not me) for something I could have done myself with another vendor two miles from my home.
Valley Tech called me twice after the fact to check on my satisfaction, the second time from
Seattle Computer Repair Services Provider Name Locked
, company president, because I'd expressed disappointment with their urging me to let my machine go to the shop. He even offered compensation, which I declined because they'd already given me excellent value for my dollar.
For Valley Tech: Kudos to
Seattle Computer Repair Services Provider Name Locked
and all of you for work well done, but please be willing and well prepared to do what you offer.
"He was wonderful! He found the problem, and fixed it. It was a stupid mistake on my side . He didn't say too much unless prompted and bonded with my rescue dog. I would hire them again in a nano second.
"I don't think I needed a new router and although our system worked after the technician left, I don't think he knew as much as we needed him to about fixing what was wrong. They company was very responsive and gave us a credit for future work but I didn't have enough confidence in their services to use them again.
"I bought a two hour service on a special deal on Angies List.
Seattle Computer Repair Services Provider Name Locked
was totally knowledgeable about what needed to be done. I had lost the connection to my printer. He serviced my computer and hooked up my printer. We had some extra time left so he worked on my son's computer.
There was some confusion on his arrival time so he offered to give me two more hours free for the mix up.
Seattle Computer Repair Services Provider Name Locked
was knowledgeable, professional and I would definitely use him for all my computer needs.
