"Great cleaning, non-toxic cleaners used (although the odor made us turn off the heat and open the windows anyway!), very neat, took care not to hurt other things around the areas to be cleaned. Worked hard. Pleasant man and honest. Very helpful to me in particular - when I called him to set the appointment, I asked him if he worked with tile to repair, set loose ones, etc and he said that he did. I told him that I was planning to put on a kitchen tile backsplash and I had never done that before. If I was ready to do the project when he came, could I ask him for advice? - and he was REALLY helpful. Gave me lots of tips, helped choose the right tools from those we had already, what my thinset should look like and how it worked best. Great guy...I'd hire him back in a minute."

"I called their office to request an estimate for a tiling project.  Although it was the middle of the morning, no one was available to answer the phone.  I left a message, which they did not return.  More than a week later, I called the same number again - and got the owner's cell phone.  He was in the doctor's office, and offered to call me back.  Days later, he called, but wasn't sure if  he had already spoken with me.  He called two more times over a period of more than a week, asking if I had contacted him.  Neeless to say, I used another contractor."

"It went fantastic! We bonded with
Seattle Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
immediately. He is such a great guy and genuinely cares about his work and his client's happiness. We have a 1945 cape cod style home that had a very outdated and oddly shaped kitchen, and a bathroom with rotting drywall and a full size window in the shower (God knows why).
Seattle Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
gave us the bid for labor only and gave us an estimate on material costs. We worked it out to be exactly to our budget. We liked paying for materials separately because it allowed us to control costs and not pay any

-up a contractor may have added. Once we accepted
Seattle Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
bid he and his guys were able to start within 10 days or so. Project Start: Like most projects, the demo went quickly. His guys were extremely clean and took great care to make sure dust was contained within the confines of the kitchen and bathroom. They put up plastic sheets and had an industrial air purifier to help with the dust. They had a large trailer in the driveway to haul away all the debris (which there was plenty of). Middle of Project: During the project the work went smoothly and
Seattle Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
communicated well at each phase. As with all projects like this you find a few surprises. For us these were minimal and
Seattle Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
was always willing to ensure what needed to be done was taken care of the right way. As we were discussing ways to make the kitchen as efficient and spacious as possible, we decided to expand the entryway to be wider than it was originally. During this process
Seattle Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
found that the beam spanning the boundary between the kitchen and living room would need some additional support to ensure it was safe. Many contractors would have simply glossed over this and done what was cheap and easy.
Seattle Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
does it the right way, even if it slows down the project. End of Project: Wow! What an amazing new kitchen and bathroom we have. We are so thrilled with the space
Seattle Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
created for us. Almost 1 year after the job was completed we couldn't be happier with our kitchen. It is beautiful! And the scrap pile on the patio was cleaned up so well you couldn't even tell it was ever there. We LOVE the remodel! It's not often people hug their contractor, but both my wife and I gave

a hearty hug at the end of this project. We will definitely call
Seattle Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
for our next project!

"A representative came out, failed to introduce himself, and while looking at the main area of concern (a landing where the grout had come broken and come out from between tiles.) informed me that the reason for the grout breaking was that the tile wasn't secured and so was moving. As a result, refilling the grout line would simply produce the same results. So I asked "what do I need to do to fix the problem?" and the response was a lot of hemming and hawing with no clear answer and repeatedly telling me that the tile wasn't secured. Yeah, got that. I'm willing to pay to to fix it so let me know how to fix it, don't just keep telling me it's broken; I know that. It didn't go much better in the kitchen or bath. I was told that I should have used with a silicon grout five years ago when the tile went in. Okay, but I didn't so what can I do now? He wasn't concerned that there would be water damage but said I could have him grind out the grout along those edges and replace with a silicon-based grout or just go over it with clear caulking (as long as I don't mind that it will yellow a bit with age.) I received a bid for $125 to do the caulking in the kitchen. The whole time communication was really choppy and reluctant. I would ask questions and not really get answers or he would be slightly argumentative. I understand there were problems with how the grout had been done, I was looking for help in how to fix it. As
Seattle Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
seemed to have no interest in telling me what I needed to to do fix things, I found someone else who was quite pleasant and helpful. As such, I can't speak to the quality of their work.

"Excellent. We were out of the country while he performed his work and

"
Seattle Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
lives up to his name "
Seattle Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
." He was always punctual and respectful. He kept the workplace clean. He gave us a good idea of the timeline for the project. The price was fair, and he did excellent work. We had used him on a bathroom installation a couple of years earlier, and were happy with that work too. We plan to use him again in our new house. For the actual work, first there was a day of demolition, ripping out the old cabinets, and lath and plaster walls and ceiling. Then
Seattle Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
set up a temporary kitchen in our dining room for us to use during the project. He had a small sink that he installed for our use until the new sink was installed. That was nice because between the grill outside, and the microwave we set up in the dining room, we could eat a few meals at home, thus saving us money. Once the demolition was complete, we were able to see up into the rafters of the ceiling to the pitch of the roof, and we wondered if we ought to vault the ceiling, even though it wasn't part of the original bid. When we approached
Seattle Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
about adding this to our bid, he was happy to accommodate this request, even though it was going to add an additional week to the project.
Seattle Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
had to do a lot of extra jiggering to make our cabinets fit into the space and also to make our floor level. It was an old house and everything was out of square. But you'd never be able to tell based on the finished product. From the exterior, the new cedar siding was painted, and you can't tell that the doors or windows were ever in different locations. He really did an excellent job making the new kitchen and doors/windows look like they were always part of the house (though much nicer than the rest, to be honest). The total time was about 5 weeks, start to finish. The transformation was incredible.

"They redid a concrete step for me. They put new tile down in the front entrance porch. They re-glazed around a porch window. They also did caulking for a bathtub and sink. Around the front entrance door the bulked up the frame to seal out the gap. I would definitely have them come back because they are professional, on time and do a quality job. They are everything you are looking for in a contractor."

"This is the second job that
Seattle Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
did for me.
Seattle Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
first was not that many square feet but was quite complex because of numerous doorways and protruding walls. He did an excellent job that time. He was completely professional, his craftsmanship was of the highest level, and he gave me options of how he could solve some of the challenges that the complex space created. He was neat, polite, showed up when he said he would and even ahead of time I knew he would do a great job because I could tell that he takes great pride in his work. On the first job he did, his bid was not the lowest, but also not the highest. On the second job, he completely lived up to the standards he set on the first job. I gave him a key to my house, which is something I rarely do with contractors. I am extemely happy with the job he did and the way he did it. I am a bit of a perfectionist, and have found that some contractors deal with that poorly or are willing to correct minor "problems" or an otherwise good job, but with
Seattle Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
everything came out just right the first time around. This was an absoiutely painless project and I would use
Seattle Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
's services again in a flash!
