Basement Waterproofing reviews in Seattle

They were efficient, professional, and the job was completed on time. We’ve had other contractors
here (for other projects) and several have commented on the high quality of the new vapor

. We like that the covering is white, so we can see if there’s any damage (rips, etc.) or new debris on it in the future.
Bid was competitive. They cleaned up fairly well after themselves. Nice to work with a small company.

We had an excellent experience working with Rocky at
Seattle Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
. We received prompt response for scheduling an estimate, once we decided on
Seattle Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
we got into their schedule quickly, and it took two days to finishing the work. Rocky and his crew did a great job and we are very happy with the results. The other bids were either too expensive for a similar solution, or not adequate enough to solve our problem. There is a natural spring under our house that bubbled through a crack in the floor even in the driest months of the year. Plus we are at the bottom of a huge hill that channeled rain water run-off causing periodic flooding at our foundation. This year, we had the wettest spring on record....we are still dry.

I can strongly recommend
Seattle Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
. Prior to June 2011 when they waterproofed my basement, water would regularly gush through the walls and percolate through the floor whenever there was even a moderate rain. With
Seattle Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
’s March 2014 nine plus inches of rain, my basement stayed dry, I can declare their fix a success, and I know that I can now finish my basement.
Of the companies that bid,
Seattle Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
gave me the only reasonable solution with a reasonable quote which
they executed in a professional and timely manner. They answered any and all questions I had. Only this firm stated that I did not require a sump pump and I have not. Their solution to my problem was to ensure that my downspouts properly drained through my side sewer, patched and installed a vapor

to the basement walls, and installed an inside French drain with cleanouts connected to the floor drain. Even though they had to

hammer through the basement's concrete floor , there was minimal dust to clean up (yes, I still had to vacuum).

We got a quick response and estimate, which was better than competitors.
Seattle Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
gave an honest opinion without making promises he couldn't guarantee. Most importantly, our basement stayed dry through a season of heavy downpours.

As a fairly new home owner with a groundwater issue, the trust I place in a functional sump pump is very high. When it started to fail, the backup system was there if needed, but the main pump needed replacement right away.
Seattle Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
fit me in to their schedule within 24 hours t replace the pump.
Very satisfied.

I basically feel that any waterproofing company would provide the same information for free as part of a bid to do work. When I asked him if he would subtract the $49 from the price of waterproofing he said Angie's list takes it all. When I asked him to repeat some part of his explanations he rolled his eyes around and got frustrated. He was not that professional. However his solution to waterproof the basement if that is what I need sounded logical and his price may actually be reasonable, but I will not know until I get some more bids which I will be able to get for free. He just needs to brush up on his presentation. I think also Angie's list should not charge a customer for essentially what should be a free bid as what most contractor's offer.

I have to say that the service that Perma Dry provided was outstanding. Beginning with the consultation with
Seattle Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
, all the way through to completion, this company was first class.
Seattle Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
spent a lot of time ensuring that we understood everything and accomodated our crazy schedule with enthusiasm, patience and understanding. (Their work was done in conjunction with a major basement remodel project.)
The end result has proven to be absolutely wonderful and we are no longer stressed out when it rains! This family owned business is truly worthy of this review.
- Andrea S.

It went great, I had to pay extra for the door, but I really needed it to keep out any pests. They were professional, informative, and patient with my questions. I would commend them to anyone.

All went well. We left everything up to
Seattle Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
after discussions surrounding some specifics that we needed. We left town for the long Thanksgiving weekend. When we returned to the house on Sunday the house was dust free, the basement work was complete, and they did an EXCELLENT job. We are very happy with it and highly recommend

The installation looks great and seems to work well. The owner,
Seattle Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
, personally spent extra time discussing on multiple days over the phone and then visiting the property to think through the best low cost way to accomplish the objective. It had a complication in that we were concerned pine needles might fall through the grate slots and fill up the catch basin so a special kind of fabric was added under the grate to keep out the pine needles but let the water drop through. We were out of town at the time of the work being done. The installer,
Seattle Waterproofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
, did a good job and personally called me while on site and then when the job was completed. He returned the next day on his way to another job and took some pictures and sent them to me to show what the final installation looked like. The interior pump system was also tested and cleaned.
