The only confusion was when I tried to contact someone at the store the first time, to ask a question and I did not have a name/extension, and no one I talked to knew anything about

shutters (they knew about other brands, but apparently

was too new to the store), I finally gave up and just stopped by the store to talk to someone in person (and got their name/extension so I could contact them later, which made it much easier). The person who came out to measure postponed once, but she called prior to when she was supposed to arrive, and she arrived promptly at the rescheduled time. She was efficient and very professional. The gentleman who came to do the final measurement arrived right at the scheduled time, also very efficient and professional. He also turned out to be the person who did the installation, and again arrived right on time, was very professional, and did a beautiful job."

The staff was easy to talk to and very helpful in finding out what was available from the manufacturer. They did a free in home consultation and measuring. When the installer was running a few minutes late they called to let me know. Installation of the honeycombs was amazingly fast. The patio dooring covering was a new product so took longer to install. When I questioned the amount of overlap at the end of the run the installer immediately called the owner, who offered to come out the next morning. The installer found what was wrong and corrected it. The installer took the time to show me the operation of all the shades and blinds, and answered my questions about maintenance and cleaning fully."

's suggestion of the top-down/bottom-up option for certain windows and am so glad I did! I also love having blackout blinds in the master bedroom--I can sleep in on the weekends and it's perfectly dark in my bedroom until I feel like opening the blinds.
