"I first found on Yelp, then confirmed good reviews here on Angies List.
Bill was on time for the appt for the estimate. He gave me a thorough explanation of all my options for the job and what his recommendations were and why. Later that day he called with his estimate and followed that with an email with all the details. I asked a few more questions and scheduled the job for a few days later.
On work day Bill and his gang arrived at the time he promised. He had estimated 2-3 days of work, but when he got there said he was going to try to do it all in one day. And, holy cow, he (they!) did. It was like Extreme Makeover - Home Edition. There were at least seven workers plus the electrician plus the drywall guy. Seven! It was wild, but amazing. Those guys worked together and got it knocked out in record time with skill and efficiency. By 4pm I had a new water heater, new pipes, and the drywall guy was patching up. Granted, my house is a small single story, so it wasn't the biggest job on earth but I was still impressed.
They left the house and garage neat and everything in good shape. Bill obviously knows his stuff and he obviously has the resources to get a job done. I've already recommended him to others."

"Prior to selecting Company, I called other contractors to get estimates. One SF Bay area company that does only water heaters gave me an estimate of $1,250 which included $100 charge for travel to/from the area. Two San area companies told me they do not service the area. Another area plumber estimated $800 to $875. and Heating Company estimated $700 to $800. I asked and Heating company to come out and take a look at the job and confirm their price estimate. came out at the appointed time, reviewed the situation, discussed other options and their cost impacts (using tankless, adding a thermostat and timer to the recirculating section). Recommended I go with a straight forward replacement with good insulation (R15) for the cheapest prices and also recommended that I go with a time and material approach with a $95 hourly rate. I agreed and we set a time for Monday at 9:00 AM. arrived promptly at 9:00 AM, worked the job diligently with very little interruption, completed the job and cleaned up in 2 hours. He printed up a detailed invoice for $780 from his truck and I paid him with a check. Overall he was very friendly, courteous and professional. I'd recommend and use him again with no hesitation."

"Our water heater broke down, and we had it replaced through our home insurance. They sent from Street Plumbing, and he did a great job putting in the new unit quickly and he was overall courteous. Since then, one of the pipes started a minimal drip, hence the "B.""

"Overall it went great, they arrived on time for the estimate, scheduled the installation within a reasonable amount of time, had the unit installed, the area cleaned and were out of there about 2 hours early (from their time estimate), and stuck to their quote. My one complaint is that the company did not initially nor has yet to (with follow up from me) send me a letter with scheduling information to have an inspection done. I'll keep at them until they do."
