"In general, I'd have to say that and his crew are really easy to work with and is extremely patient and thoughtful when trying to solve all the little issues that inevitably arise doing this kind of work. The attention to detail is impressive, and is really concerned and thoughtful about the homeowner. He even spent 4 hours with me installing some appliances after the job was completely finished! The only complaint that I had in this particular job was the pace of progress during parts of the job. actually brought it up himself and apologized as well. For me, we weren't in a particular hurry; preferring to have a good job rather than a rush job, but there was a period there where things were a bit slow. That being said, my wife and I already have some plans in mind about a couple of things we'd like to do in our new house (we were remodeling our old place in preparation to rent it out) and we definitely have in mind as soon as our bank account has recovered sufficiently."

"In the course of their work they found, first one, then another water pipe that were corroded and beginning to leak. explained carefully to us non-technical customers the problems and suggested solutions, always keeping economy of time and cost in mind. Our original $3200 bid, which did not include plumbing, expanded by a third, but piece by piece, as he explained each problem encountered and offered alternatives.
On the last day, there was an emergency involving a surprise leak, which in some less than honest contractors could have given them a terrific economic advantage, but they didn't take advantage. Instead seemed to us scrupulously sincere, and as pleased as we that a potentially costly surprise turned out to be less than feared. Yes, we had a higher cost than originally expected (and that had not been a special bargain), but it all seemed fair and professional."

" did a great job remodeling our kitchen. Our house is over 100 years old and must be a challenge for any contractor. made some helpful design suggestions (we admit to being a little clueless when it came to deciding what we actually wanted). The work started and finished on schedule even though some extra work was required to repair some joists and flooring. made sure to keep us informed and up to date with his progress along the way and discuss any changes to the original plan. The cabinet maker uses did a good job matching the style of the new cabinets with the existing cabinets we kept in the kitchen. After ripping out the old1940's cabinets, found some old newspapers from 1946 which he kept for us - a great read! completes all the work himself and with his co-worker only, so we knew exactly who would be in the house at all times. Overall a great experience. We love the new kitchen and would definitely use again."

"The first job was quite small and completed in a single day. ,
the man doing the work, was knowledgable and skilled in all aspects of
the work -- demolition, carpentry, masonry. The new doors open &
close perfectly, despite the opening being somewhat out-of-square.
cut out the rotten subfloor, treated it with a Copper Green to
stop any lingering rot. The job was completed nicely and within a
reasonable time frame.
The second job, was done very well also. The work spanned a couple
days because the patch to the stucco must be applied in several
layers, and allowed to dry between layers. Matching the new
baseboards to the existing base boards was no problem, despite the
fact that the existing baseboard style is rarely used these days. The
replacement window, suggested by , is also of higher quality
than the other replacement windows already put into the house by a
previous owner.
The third job, which just completed, was a complete kitchen remodel.
I called for an estimate, and he responded in a timely manner,
set up an appointment and came over to see the work that was desired.
After selecting 's company to do the work, he arranged for the
cabinet maker to come and take measurements, and near the end he
coordinated the interactions with the countertop maker. 's crew
makes progress each day towards completion, and always cleans up the
work areas at the end of the day.
's crew is amiable, and very knowledgable in their line of work.
They don't cut corners, and fixed things that are wrong when they ran
across them on my project.
On the few occasions that I wanted to talk with directly during
the kitchen project, I found that he is generally quite busy and will
not always answer his office phone, but he always called me back when
I left a message. He also responded, with a return phone call, to
every email I sent him; at no time did I feel out-of-touch with him.
I will use 's company again."

"Awesome. The quality, cost and delivery of services and follow up we're perfect. I've never met a residential GC that I've liked better. Rich, does what he says he'll do when he say's he'll do it. His guys are great. In fact, they are currently helping us with another small project."
