was personally in the lift. He really thinks out how to make the moves so that walls and wood floors don't get scratched. He's also very efficient directing the rest of the crew to take care of the bulk of the work. Mr.

speaks English, Japanese, and Spanish so he's got all of the communication bases covered. My wife is Japanese, so it was a relief to her to have the Japanese channel open. Also,

is completely tuned into the "no shoes" in the house thing. All in all, an excellent experience. I'd recommend these guys in a flash."

"2 guys were dispatched. They were very careful doing a good job with the refrigerator tear-down and restoration. They were very careful to protect the floors during the transitions on-to and off-of the 4 wheeled truck. The best part was the fact that the quote was for a two hour minimum at $100 / hour plus mileage (only about 10 miles between the houses). It turns out that they had a cash discount and we only wound up paying a total of $190. We gave the main guy a $60 tip to be divided as he saw fit."

"Picking a moving company has to be one of the most challenging things you can do as you are basically entrusting your home and personal possessions to strangers. I've moved quite a bit over the years including two cross country moves. I've always gotten bids from several companies and sorry but I think the moving industry in general is pretty slimy. So, I try very hard to find reputable companies that aren't going to make an already stressful event even worse. That's why I was so pleased to find GoPro Moving on Angie's List. They had many positive reviews so I thought I'd give them a try. I called 3 different companies for bids for our move from

and I'm certain we picked the right one by choosing GoPro. On the con side, they are not as responsive as some of the larger companies. They tend to do more via email and I'm a phone kind of person and it did take them a few days to return my calls. I think this is due to the fact that they are a smaller company and don't have a full-time person dedicated to the phone like some of the larger companies. It can be frustrating though and at one point I thought that I would go with another company because I was worried if they couldn't call me back quickly, they may not be a reputable company but I kept thinking about all of the positive reviews so I overlooked it. On the day of the move, they arrived on time, early in fact. There were 3 guys, one of which was one of the owners. I wish I could remember their names but it's been a few weeks and the day of the move I was occupied chasing my little one around but they were all nice especially the head mover. They quickly loaded everything and taped up the things that needed to be taped. My only complaint on the day of the move was that they only had 1 wardrobe box and when the estimator had come by he had said that they would bring at least 3 or 4 (I think we needed 6 to be honest). So, the guys put our clothes on blankets and transported them that way which was fine. They loaded up in about 1.5 hours which was quicker than expected and after taking a small food break arrived at our new house and unloaded very quickly. They were careful with our stuff and didn't break anything. And, the best part was that the final cost was less than we had expected because they were able to get things done so quickly. I really was very impressed with the professionalism and courtesy of this company. Believe me, I've dealt with the companies who have movers that smoke, break things, are rude etc. and it can make an already stressful experience worse. GoPro really allowed us to have a stress free move. So, yes, I would highly recommend them to others on the list. Just have a little patience with them in returning your calls, they are worth the wait!"
