San Jose Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
was absolutely fantastic! I called very close to 5 p.m. on a Monday night and did not expect to see him right away. He was in the area so he came to fix our system within an hour! He was very professional, personable and got our alarm system back up and running right away. Highly recommended!

When Mr.
San Jose Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
initially came out, he was very informative about the wireless versus hard wired systems. This was very helpful when I had to decide which system to buy. Installation costs for the hard wired system were quite a bit more because of the greater amount of labor, but the equipment is all mine, and the monthly monitoring costs are most reasonable.
The installation crew was polite and competent, cleaning up most of their work areas. I was extremely impressed with the fact that they had to work in the attic crawl space on one of the hottest days of the year, and the next day had to crawl under the house as well. I appreciated the fact that they pointed out the need for an additional alarm point which would help protect the cars in the garage. They were also very patient in training me on the use of the system. When I asked about a remote on/off control, I learned of a very new program which allows me to control the system remotely from my iPhone.
My only concern had to do with the scheduling of the extra half day to install that remote system. Since I added the remote system at the end of the 2nd day, they were unable to send someone out the next morning. Instead, I waited until mid afternoon for the worker to come out, do the work, and train me on its use. As a result, I had to cancel some plans for that day in order to wait for him, although I feel most of this problem was my fault due to the last minute addition of that remote system.
I'm very happy with the system and feel much more secure in my home. I also know it works, sadly due to 2 false alarms which I tripped accidentally as I learned to use the system! Oh well, at least I'm learning! I would have no problem recommending

I bought a refurbished
San Jose Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
2 alarm system at March 14, 2014 from their website since their supporting crew claimed it still offers the very same product warranty but at reduced prices. I returned the entire system at April 14, 2014 through their prepaid label and collected 100% full refunds by April 24, 2014 without the 1st month monitoring service charges. Here are the pros and cons of
San Jose Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
2 alarm system based on my 3+ weeks usages. Pros 1. All sensors are very easy to install which is no difference than other brands but their hardware setup utility, Microsoft window based , is very easy and friendly to use which is a big plus. You can use the USB keyfob to program your system on the computer, then sync with base station which makes reconfigurations of your alarm system extremely easy. 2. Door/window sensor is responsive and no false alarm ever occurred during the 3+ weeks usages 3. Supporting crews are knowledgeable and responsive 4. 60 days tryout is a plus and you will get 100% full refunds if you do not like your purchase Cons 1. Very limited range allowed between base station and wireless keypad, say less than 15 feet. If you have the sound enabled for your base station, then the base station becomes a easy target for intruders to locate once they knew smacking the keypad did not crash the alarm system. 2. Very slow and environmental subjective motion sensor. It will take 2 minutes to warm up and any warm bodies better be away during the warm up period in order not to affect the "decision" making of the motion sensor and I learned this through the supporting crew. The problem is wireless window sensor is not suitable for bathroom window due to humidity issue and you will use the motion sensor instead. It becomes a issue with this very environmental subjective motion sensor which heavily depends on where you place it since lights through the window might trigger it. 3. SMS text alert provided by their monitoring service is highly questionable. I experienced "no message, delayed by half day message, no message, delayed by 8 minutes, no message" during the 2+ weeks monitoring service period on my Samsung Note 3. However, the message will be received at your smartphone within 40 seconds if it works properly. Their crews only acknowledged the initial no message issue since due to their system but blamed the rest were caused by my ATT carrier. However, my wife shared the very same ATT carrier with me and she only experienced "no message, delayed by half day message, delayed by 8 minutes" on her Apple 5S. I highly doubts it is the ATT carrier. 4. Smartphone APP is very bare bone which only allows user to arm/disarm and view event logs. No real time sensor status at all. 5. There will be no 3rd party monitor services available for
San Jose Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
proprietary alarm system. So, you either go with their non-reliable monitoring service or no monitoring service at all. Conclusions If you are in the
San Jose Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
for very straight forward alarm system to install by yourself without worrying about the monitoring services, then
San Jose Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
might suit your needs. But, if you are in the taste of future expansions of video, home automation, then the simplicity of
San Jose Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
product is at its cost.

Upon receiving the kit - the installation of all the sensors and powering up took less than 1 hour. Called them to activate and it was all done! The best service I have had in all the years for monitoring service.
They are contracted with for monitoring and the system/service has been excellentso far (9 months).

we've wanted a new alarm system for quite some time now and finally pulled the trigger. Went with
San Jose Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
partly due to the reviews but more importantly I liked that they use the cellular technology instead of a phone land line. Bought an entire variety of products and at this point am happy with it so far. It's so hard to know until there's an emergency or a need to use it, you know. Even though we bought the deal, we ended up spending about another $250 in products, which I wasn't entirely happy about but we'll see if it's worth it. Got a tip that you can actually buy some add-on products on Amazon as long as they're compatible with the system brand/products you bought. Will update review with greater use as not enough experience yet to say I love it.

I was looking for a new Alarm system to replace the current one that came with the house. We didn't have the code to disarm the system and it seemed pretty old. I got quotes from 3 companies ( ADT, Comcast & who referred

to me )

came out to my house, showed me a demo of the system and looked my house over for the best coverage and protection. The system he showed us was state of the art and up to date hardware and he gave us a great demo and answered all of our questions. I was very happy to finally get someone that knew there stuff and went ahead and signed the paperwork.
They came out a week later at my request and I found

at more door ready to install the system.
San Jose Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
was very nice and has been installing system for years so I wasn't to worried about my house current setup ( hardwired and wireless).

took his time and whipped right through the house and had everything up and running and did a great install job.
So if your looking for a bay area company to install a new or replace your current system, give them a call :)
Also, I researched alarm systems for weeks so I knew what to expect from the different companies and the system most people go with and has the best rating is 2GIG.

I needed to replace the battery in my alarm system. Got a call back helping me with purchase (Radio Shack) and to install it myself. Saved lots of money, time, and trouble as stated by

. It works........Thank you....Great ....

I did my research on their web site before calling to place an order by phone. My sales guy was little more than an order taker, but on the flip side, didn't pressure me at all to buy more sensors and accessories than I needed.

Called Protection One after our house was robbed. When we went to sign the contract they wanted to check our credit. We told them no we were in the middle of a refinance and it could effect our credit rating and interest rate. They claimed that all other companies check your credit, which is an outright lie as no other company that gave us a bid wanted a credit check (we doubled checked afterward). The
San Jose Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
was that we have been paying our bill on time for over 7 years and the installation and monitoring was going to be on a credit card. My thought?, I don't give Target or Safeway the right to check my credit when I buy something from them so it is none of your business what my credit is (by the way it's excellent). Needless to say we walked away and are looking for another Alarm company for both our business and home. Doesn't this company know that it's a recession and customer service is number one? If this is how they treat a regular customer, everyone needs to stay away!!!
