San Jose Dry Cleaners

"I started going here based on a friend's recommendation, and because it is close to home. She did a good job on the two alterations, and I was satisfied with the dry cleaning as well. When is there, the service is fine. When she is not, it's a different story. On two occassions, the employee has been gabbing on the phone ...more the whole time I was there. This last time, she never once looked at me, said "hello", "thank you" or even acknowledged my presence. I walked in, put my ticket on the counter, she found my order, pointed to the amount owed, took my money and gave change - all without ever looking up or pausing in her conversation. I will never go back - there are plenty of other cleaners with similar price and quality, and that at least

you when you walk in the door and say "thank you"."

"I took my king size comforter to the cleaners for dry cleaning. My daughter had accidentally gotten sick on it. It smelled bad. I told the cleaners the situation and they said that they could handle it. They told me it would be ready the following week. I am very happy with this cleaner store. "Excellent. Quednau, the owner, is very knowledgeable. He took extra steps to help preserve our older drapes and to rehang them. is very clear about the cleaning risks and process. He kept in touch with us by phone to be sure that we had the drapes back according to our time schedule."

I continued to take my dry cleaning there and found that the prices had gone up as the company was using a different dry cleaning method. I got upset when I came in to pick up a skirt and was told to pay an additional $3.15 for the skirt because ...more someone entered an incorrect code in the system and it is a "long skirt". This is a "long skirt" by a

's standards and would be easier to clean and press than pants but I was charged more. I guess there is no more flat rate drycleaning here anymore. I took a jacket out to wear to work this morning that had been cleaned by their service as well. It looked as though it had not been pressed at all. One sleeve was rolled up and they pressed the sleeve in the rolled up position. The other sleeve was pressed flat. Their service is substandard and not worth a premium price. I would not recommend

to anyone."

"I dropped off some rayon pants that had some stains for cleaning. They were not ready when I went to pick them up, but they pressed them while I waited. I had used this cleaner before, and items usually are ready. They do a very good job, and I've never had anything ruined."
