"When the on site project manager had emergency leave after a couple weeks on the job, there was never another one appointed. This position was very important for owner contact, keeping updated plans/on-the-spot decisions available for their employees and subs. The owner became the minute-by-minute project manager; involvement was disappointing as everyday workmanship revealed do-overs at every single step of the way. The once-a-week project manager was called in to oversee the project, but the daily attention to detail suffered for a while, little to no oversight to subs' work instruction and performance resulted in mistakes and extra cost. BUT this general contractor is very involved in establishing/keeping a good reputation, stays involved in current contracting trends and has several awards for their work, and they stayed the course to make sure owner was satisfied."

"These are the BEST contractors we have ever dealt with. Over the last few years we have done our kitchen, a whole bunch of electrical work, new stairs, and new hardwood floors. Without a doubt, this was the best group ever. They explained everything very clearly including the time line (which was followed to a T), worked with our flooring contractor, listened to us and what we wanted, were on time, cleaned up, did fantastic work, adjusted to us on the fly, brought in good subcontractors when something unexpected turned up and made sure they did the work correctly. Overall, a great experience and a fantastic company. I would recommend them every single time. They are relatively expensive, but in this case you get what you pay for and they are worth every penny."

"At first, we were thrilled. I left a great review on Angie's List. Then something changed. He sat down at one of my outdoor tables to eat his lunch. Upon standing up, he knocked a clock off the wall, breaking it irreparably. I came home to find it broken, but I didn't learn until a week or so later that was responsible. He apologized, but never offered to replace it. Next, was supposed to replace the cold valve in my bathtub with another valve that I had purchased. Instead of replacing the cold valve, replaced the hot valve (which didn't need to be replaced). I had to spend $35 for another replacement valve. We still have work to do, and the last time my husband called , laughed and said that he has been very busy since I left him such good feedback. He assured us that he would be working in our home on Sept. 4th. It's now Nov. 3rd. Still no . We're also still waiting for his bill, which we asked for numerous times. Maybe he's no longer around?"

" was responsive to my needs although they were a little slow with paperwork back and forth. I am pleased with the quality and timeliness of the work, and the cleanup job they did. My only concern was that - after coming out to view the area to be repaired and giving an extimate, they called several days later to say they had made an error on the contract I had signed and it would cost an additional $100. I was disturbed by this error on their part, and their instance on the higher rate. I needed the job done within a 10 day period, and the other estimate I got - though the man was extremely responsive to my needs- was for almost double the new rate quoted by . For that reason I agreed to the new contract which was arguably still a reasonable price, and I am pleased with the work. I just wish they had quoted the correct price the first time."

"Hire of to re-do roof on my parents house. He did an excellent job and my parents were very happy with the work done. House size is approximately 1300 sq ft 40yr shingles and vents $7,400, Gutters and downspout $1,600 Dry rot approximately $3,000 (there was a lot of dry rot damage). Took them 5 days even though lots of dry rot repair. They were prompt and very clean. also removed a vent not being used and fixed the vent for the water heater at no charge. He also discounted some of the dry rot work since there was so much damage. did a great job."
