"In general, I'd have to say that
San Jose Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
and his crew are really easy to work with and
San Jose Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
is extremely patient and thoughtful when trying to solve all the little issues that inevitably arise doing this kind of work. The attention to detail is impressive, and
San Jose Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
is really concerned and thoughtful about the homeowner.  He even spent 4 hours with me installing some appliances after the job was completely finished! The only complaint that I had in this particular job was the pace of progress during parts of the job.
San Jose Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
actually brought it up himself and apologized as well.  For me, we weren't in a particular hurry; preferring to have a good job rather than a rush job, but there was a period there where things were a bit slow. That being said, my wife and I already have some plans in mind about a couple of things we'd like to do in our new house (we were remodeling our old place in preparation to rent it out) and we definitely have
San Jose Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
in mind as soon as our bank account has recovered sufficiently.

"We first contacted
San Jose Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
following a recommendation from a friend. Initially I was just looking for ideas and estimates which he willingly provided. Our first project was to replace the carpet in the livingroom, hall and bedroom. He worked with us to select the right color and quality carpet and pad for the area and did a wonderful job of installing it. He also replaced the baseboards- carefully matching the corners including the single step in the hall. Several months later we called him when we found an area of carpet had been damaged with bleach.
San Jose Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
was able to locate a replacement piece of carpet from the same dye lot and replace the damaged carpet. Several years later we called
San Jose Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
to
San Jose Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
laminate floor in the kitchen and family room. Again we were very pleased with the professional installation and attention to detail. We have found that
San Jose Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
provides professional, quality installation of a variety of flooring products at a fair price.

San Jose Carpet Installers Reviews

"We put a deposit down and they were supposed to get it in 15 - 20 days. Time went by and they never called so called and they said they would follow up on it. About 2 months later we finally told them to forget it, they weren't able to get the carpet we ordered but they wouldn't tell us until we pressured them. They should have handled the situation differently and let us know what was going on, but they handled it poorly. I had to follow up, it would have been different if they would have followed up. The bottom line is that we tried to buy carpet and they couldn't deliver it, we got tired of waiting so we just canceled the order. We did get our deposit back. "

"We had our 4 bedrooms carpeted (approx. 640 sq ft). The estimator was on-time as promised, gave a clear explanation of the the work and set the time for installation. The installers came on-time and even told us the pads we had were much better quality and still in good condition. They recommended to leave the pads and they would credit back the difference. They sent a $267 check to us a few days later."

"The purchase part of the transaction went very smoothly and we feel the carpet we got was a good value. The showroom staff was professional and extremely flexible. They held our carpet without payment until our painter was finished and scheduled installation within a tight window, before our out-of-town guests arrived. However, the installation crew, while skilled and efficient in installing carpet (only minor scuffing on the baseboard and one place on the wall), was totally unprofessional. They made a huge deal out of moving a sleeper sofa and (empty) desk less than 6 feet and flat-out refused to reposition a 4-piece wall unit my husband and I moved into an adjacent room but had found somewhat awkward to handle. The lead's rationale was that he "wasn't going to get rich moving furniture," despite the fact that my contract said they would move furniture for a stated fee. They wanted to move the desk and sofa back into position before vacuuming or doing any clean-up of the shag fragments. When I insisted, they said their vacuum was a commercial model and could not be used on the carpet. They then sat back and laughed at me while I vacuumed the carpet myself, with our own vacuum cleaner. I called my sales rep (owner's son?) and told him what had happened. He heard me out, seemed sympathetic and said he would look into it. I didn't hear anything so called back a few days later. He said he'd told his father, who was in charge of the installers. But that's it - no explanation, no apology, no nothing. The only good thing was that the installers refused payment for the (very limited) furniture they actually moved."

Brothers was quick to respond with an estimate and was a bit flexible in pricing as they started out much higher than competing bids. Our mistake was trying to get new flooring before the 2007 holidays when everyone who is looking for new floors is buying. We had a few starts and stops in getting the work scheduled. Were told it could start in two weeks - but ended up being nearly two months due to late ordering on their part and an already planned trip on our part. Removal of old carpet and installation of new carpet went great - really good crew. Hardwood rejuvenation went OK - but there was a lot of wood dust everywhere and the finished product did not look "just like new" as promised. Would not have done this work if I had it to do over again. Hardwood installation went OK - installers were very meticulous and finished product looks great. Only had one installer so it took three very long days to complete rather than the two that were scheduled."

"They have to come first to give you an estimate. Then you have to make an initial payment, and then wait for them to call you to set an appointment, which can take a while. I had no issues with their professionalism. Their work was good for the most part, and their price was excellent."

had to work around my work schedule (I work part time). He was timely. He noticed additional things that I might want done and since he was there he just had his people do them and didn't even charge me. My bathroom and kitchen are beautiful now. He even brought the top quality base boards in the bathroom instead of replacing the "fake wood" ones that were there. He's great and so are his workers."

"The carpet I ordered was two days late arriving at the warehouse, so we had to reschedule the installation appointment. They called me and explained the situation in advance though, so it was fine with me."

"Installation was compete in about 5 hours. Installer was punctual, friendly and professional. He even helped me move back some furniture. Room looks great!"
