"UE said they did not install themselves, so they recommended an installer. This is where I felt I was cheated. UE said the average cost of an installation for my items was $440.00. The installer came, removed the old appliances, and installed the new ones. He also added a new plug (though this was not a surprise as I had told him and UE about it before ...more he came out.) The installer charged almost $1000. Not only was this more than double the estimate, but he didn't even finish the job. He forgot his tile cutter and could not fill in a gap in the kitchen floor with a piece of tile, which I had. I called UE to complain, but they said nothing could be done because the installer was independent. UE made no attempt to understand my position or meet me half-way. I will not use UE again."

"The most difficult part was deciding which refrigerator to purchase. Do your homework by reading what you can, ie consumer reports. All the sales people from different Appliance stores say different things. his refrigerator is made by LG in Korea. It had the features that we wanted. The people installing were professional and cleaned up after themselves. ...more They had to remove outside gate, sliding glass door to install the refrigerator and reinstalled the doors. Arrived at the time period, prior night was given a two hour window and in AM when the delivery people gave me the time and arrived within that 40 minute window. They only took about 30 minutes to complete the job. I was told by sales people that it would take several hours to 24 hours before I could start using the new refrigerator. That may be more true about the freezer section, but since I have a separate freezer already it wasn't a problem. It took only 1-2 hours before it was at a freezing temperature."

The first salesman we met seemed to know more about computers and MP3 players, etc. but soon recognized the need to refer us to the ''appliance guy''. We waited a short while as he finished helping another customer and got right down to business. He understood what we were looking for and was a great ...more help. Compared to the kind of service we had experienced at many of his competitor's stores, this was refreshing. He knew his product and didn't try to pull any smoke or mirrors. Not many people are interested in large freezers these days, and you tend to be ignored in many stores. We were not pressured to buy the warranty and didn't pay to have the freezer delivered, but when we returned with a friend's pickup, it was ready and waiting for us, and they helped us load it."

"Total warehouse experience. Rows and rows of outlet appliances from . So carry only what carry. Some items are returns and are badly dinged up. But you can find some real gems at real great bargains. I got mine for less than half of full store price. So I overlooked the 2-3 small dings that came with it ...more :) Looks great in my kitchen. Service is not that great, of course, but the price is right."

"Sales person was fairly knowledgeable about their products unlike some of the "big box" stores. Was very helpful in helping me find the dryer best suited for me. Delivery was very quick. also has a rewards program that is great especially when you buy big ticket items."
