and his team did a fantastic job. They went above and beyond. No damage at all. On time. Couldn't recommend them higher

It went about as perfect as a move can go. As mentioned above these gentlemen were super courteous and as hard working and efficient as possible. When a heavy duty move that is completed nearly 3hrs less than estimated, you have a highly efficient team. -"'!==eeee?azaaaaaaz-111q21

The bookcase required serious effort to move and the guys were great and moved everything as needed without any damage. The price included a minimum charge of two hours, but for the effort that was required, we didn't mind paying for a little extra time to do such a small move.

Though the workbench was not fragile, I went with "white glove" service because it was heavy (required 2 people to lift) and would need to be carried up stairs. The timing of the move was critical because my mother was moving and any items remaining in the house were going to be given away - if
San Francisco Movers Provider Name Locked
could not schedule the move within a very short window, I wouldn't be able to get the workbench.

, the representative at
San Francisco Movers Provider Name Locked
was amazing - always very accessible (by phone and email), was able to quickly get answers to all my questions and was able to schedule around our moving timeline (turned out there was a delay with the move so the pickup location changed) and needs. I felt the price was reasonable, the service was professional, but
San Francisco Movers Provider Name Locked
was the real reason I would recommend
San Francisco Movers Provider Name Locked
- I always felt like I had a friend on the other end of the line making sure everything would be handled.
So, they worked around the changed pickup location and dates, I didn't hear anything until the workbench arrived on the West Coast and then had a slight delay - the delivery service on this end didn't call back for a week and a half - so I emailed
San Francisco Movers Provider Name Locked
and he quickly resolved the situation. The delivery service on this end called within the day and scheduled the delivery. On the day of the delivery, they called before arriving (they had given me a 4 hour window), brought the workbench inside and took away all of their packing.
That was it - this is a workbench that my great-grandfather had built. Again, nothing fragile, but I was really happy that they took such good care of it and treated my very small account as important. I would highly recommend them again and again!

In general it went very well. All communication was via email and telephone prior to the actual move. The only negative, and why they only got a "C" on punctuality was that they did not arrive until 7:00 PM in the evening and did not finish until almost midnight. They were supposed to arrive between Noon and 5:00PM. But, they were in regular contact regarding the schedule delay. The reason that I still rated them an overall "A" is that they were extremely cooperative on the schedule at the other end. The highrise condo has a specific daily time period when these types of deliveries can be made and they managed to fit the complete delivery during the allowed time. Tal, the driver of the truck that was moving everything cross country, kept me up to date on his progress and possible delivery arrival dates.
As to the quality, excellent. Staff on both the pick-up as well as the delivery were very professional and did an excellent job. All of the stuff arrived in good shape and they even reassembled the King Size Bed for us. This was my greatest fear that the goods would be delivered with major damages. The fears were groundless. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

I have used this company 3 times for one reason and one reason only....they are cheap. But its like they always say, you get what you pay for. They have never been on time. Trying to get ahold of
San Francisco Movers Provider Name Locked
, owner and driver, is almost impossible. He will however, call you at 10PM to tell you that he is coming a day early to pick up your stuff and it needs to be ready. Or he will call you again, at odd hours, to tell you that he will be a day late. Twice he was over a day late on delivering furniture.
I move a lot and have the luxury to be able to have a few days of leeway. However, I imagine most people do not.
This last move was an absolute nightmare. They were over a day late, I had to sleep on my hardwood floors. Moreover, they broke over $300 worth of furniture. On top of that, they broke my dresser right in front of me and said, because its Ikea they don't cover it. I said, it was fine 30 seconds ago and you literally just broke this in my front of my face. "Ya but we don't cover certain brands of furniture. Especially Ikea."
Mind you have moved across the country several times with Ikea furniture and know that it is easy to break but if you break a clients furniture right in front of them, one would think that you would offer a discounted rate or at least say sorry. Nothing.
I will never use them again!!! If you want something cheap and have the luxury to have your furniture show up late and broken...please feel free to use them. All I could say is...I warned you.

We used
San Francisco Movers Provider Name Locked
& Storage to move us out of our high-rise in San
San Francisco Movers Provider Name Locked
. We were forced out due to building code violations and we didn't have much time to look around. I called several companies and found the sales people to be the most knowledgeable, friendly and reasonably priced. We needed to store our stuff while looking around for a new place to live. As frustrating and challenging as it all was. This company was AWESOME from start to finish.
They made the process

and were right' on it'. When the movers arrived we couldn't believe how fast and experienced they were. They had us out before noon and packed my artwork, TVs and

-nacks with ease. They used lots of wrapping and packing paper so nothing would get damaged. I have some big furniture and lots of stairs, but they made it look easy and

We were in storage for almost three months and when they delievered our stuff not one thing was scratched, broken or damaged. Everyone including the office girls, sales staff, drivers and movers were very professional, friendly and accommodating. Well worth the price! We will tell everyone about
San Francisco Movers Provider Name Locked
and we most definitely recommend using them. Thanks again guys!!

It went very well, for the most part. They were efficient and caring. They even allowed us to get into our storage once when we found that our rental had not ironing board or iron for our use.
However, I have one caveat. When they delivered our furniture, the young man who asked me to sign off seemed in a rush, and I tried to accomodate him. I signed off on all the boxes but did not open them all until several months later, when I discovered that at least one and possibly two were missing. They contained items that I know were packed when we filled boxes. At that point, it was too late to call AMC and complain, because clearly they would have been on the truck if they were in the storage. I have no idea what might have happened, but the loss is in part because I allowed myself to be rushed. Take your time when labeling boxes (Some of ours were labeled by helpful friends.) and again when your are checking the moving company storage list in your new residence. At this point, I cannot be sure who was responsible.

I really liked
San Francisco Movers Provider Name Locked
San Francisco Movers Provider Name Locked
. Very professional. Very prompt and willing to work within my timeline to provide a quote. Also, willing to work with me and listened to my concerns. The quote included storage and full packing. I ended up selecting another vendor - but it was very close.

Great. My move was on a Tuesday and
San Francisco Movers Provider Name Locked
called me the Friday before to see where I was on any packing or issues. My focus was more on purging and cleaning, so I had some items packed but not allot. He said he'd call again on Monday to check in, and even though I had done some packing, still left most of the packing to the team.

After we chatted, (and he confirmed on Monday)
San Francisco Movers Provider Name Locked
decided he would send 5 movers, mainly b/c of the tricky 2 flights of stairs that would add time to the move. I thought that might be overkill but these guys know what they are doing. I definitely needed the 5 movers - Large 1BR took from 9:30 - 3:00pm to pack and move to my storage facility. Another 2 hours to move everything in to my storage facility.
San Francisco Movers Provider Name Locked
(the lead) was great and he had a bunch of hard working guys with him. I liked that he listened to me, especially when I said I did not want my sofa stored vertically. He and the team figured out how to fit my sofa horizontal - THANK YOU. Of course, it rained the day of my move but they made sure to get all my boxes moved into the truck before the harder rain kicked in.

2 areas I think could be improved:

- Measure for actual box sizes needed for expensive paintings. The boxes they brought were not big enough, but they made a box out of 2 and wrapped appropriately. Not for storage but was good enough for me to take with me

- I'm glad I marked several items as "front of storage" b/c I really only have access to those boxes and don't have an inventory of box #'s with contents. I would have liked that, but since I can't really get to those boxes, it would only help when I finally move from storage to my new location. And yes, would I use them again? I would. In fact, when I find my new place I'll be making that call to
San Francisco Movers Provider Name Locked
. Again - another group of folks that made the move day less emotional. Thank you
