"The owner of Quality,
San Francisco Movers Provider Name Locked
, was very personal and a great salesman. That's about the end of my positive comments about
San Francisco Movers Provider Name Locked
.
San Francisco Movers Provider Name Locked
promised two very specific things about my move's contract. One, he promised his crew would move out my possessions without requiring my presence. This was a unique requirement, but, our belongings were in storage unit, completely pre-packaged.
San Francisco Movers Provider Name Locked
himself got to see our 20'x10' storage unit for the estimate. Second, he promised his crew would use decking to keep our luxury bedding horizontal during the move, which is a requirement of the bedding manufacturer. About three days before the move-out, the move coordinator informed me I would have to be present at move-out due to their company policy. They were ever so eager to tell me otherwise during the sales process. They eventually complied with their original promise, but, it was a headache. The move coordinator asked if I would agree to a mid-morning move-in in
San Francisco Movers Provider Name Locked
, as they had a "500 pound" small shipment on the truck to deliver along the way. That 500 pound shipment turned into a 2000 pound shipment that delayed their arrival by 5 hours. To top it off, the crew had ignored the requirement to use decking to move our bedding horizontal with no load on it. Instead they threw it in the truck last, on an uneven angle, on its side, across boxes of different heights. I'll let the attached photo show you just how "quality" this moving company is. The oil stains on the mattress were a nice "quality" touch. Finally, the truck crew was very adept at dropping boxes. Thankfully, we self-packed and used extra padding material. In hind sight, I wish I would have sued Quality in Va. small claims court for breach of contract (tariff) for ignoring the special handling of our bed. It definitely took many years of life off an expensive bed that was a wedding present to each other. I didn't have the time after the move to travel back to Virginia for small claims court, but, now I wish I would have made the time.

"Our best moving experience ever! Sure, we've moved many times and have a lot of experience by now, but Shamrock's professionalism made a huge difference in the level of stress we experienced this time around. The truth is, my husband and I were surprisingly relaxed with this move. First,
San Francisco Movers Provider Name Locked
, the owner, came to our house to make an estimate, which turned out to be fairly accurate. No surprise expenses at the end. Everything was stated at the time of the estimate and it felt good to know how much we were going to spend. On the day of the move, the guys were on time, they were courteous, quick and efficient. I am getting in the business of home staging and I'll definitely recommend Shamrock to my future clients."

"The experience was great on the Seattle end, but it was not as great on the San

end. They contracted the work out so the work on the San
San Francisco Movers Provider Name Locked
end was not City Moving guys. City Moving was great. They were very helpful and responsive. "

"They were very accommodating in handling a complicated move. Their price was the best out of four estimates I received but they also used the least men (3) as opposed to another highly-rated mover that quoted 5 movers. The problem was that a number of my furniture pieces, including several antiques, were damaged or broken. One of the movers in particular didn't seem to have been properly trained. I would rate these guys very highly in every way except the one area. But - that's a very important part to get right and because they didnt, I can't recommend them. I won't use them again. I would much rather pay more with less damage to my furniture. "

"They were very professional and courteous. They were on time, and were able to deal with the four story walk up, and were able to carry all of the heavy things down the stairs. It was a tough job and they did a good job."

"They were very professional with the complete move. They were knowledgeable with the packing and everything arrived in good order. I was well satisfied with their work and the move."

"We have used
San Francisco Movers Provider Name Locked
before and were satisfied with his service. He seemed like a fair and reasonable guy who knew what he was doing. We were shocked at the difference this time.
San Francisco Movers Provider Name Locked
uses a large moving crew and he appeared unable to effectively manage or control them. There were several serious problems: We saw men shoving and kicking our furniture to pack it into the truck, as a result several items were nicked and scratched. They outright dropped and broke our entertainment center, a large piece cracked off. They packed perishables and inexplicably failed to
San Francisco Movers Provider Name Locked
the boxes or even put them in the correct place, and as a result many items spoiled and were lost. Some of the crew also decided to eat our food and left wrappers and debris strewn on the kitchen floor of the old place. They dropped several boxes and were pretty haphazard in how they stuffed boxes into any available space at the new home. Dishes were chipped and it was a mess to sort out. They gouged and scratched the new home's walls, requiring repair and painting. We expressed our concerns to
San Francisco Movers Provider Name Locked
who offered to refund us whatever we thought was fair and said he would ensure the furniture was repaired. He took the entertainment center and disappeared! He won't return our calls, hasn't responded to email and has not refunded a dime or made good on his word. It is an awful and stressful situation. We feel totally ripped off and taken advantage of.

"Everything went well. The movers were polite and made sure not to damage anything. You have the option of having them do a walk through to identify existing damage before starting. I would suggest you do that since otherwise they may not be held responsible for any damage."

"When we got on the road we were half an hour early leaving and when we arrived the unloading and placing in the rooms was wonderful and very quick. We never found one thing that was broke or scratched."

"We re sorry to say it, but
San Francisco Movers Provider Name Locked
s admirable devotion to their mission ended up leaving us high and dry. Impressed with their high ratings on Angie s, we got a thorough walk through and estimate from
San Francisco Movers Provider Name Locked
. We were facing a tight deadline to move and thought we could count on them to pack us up on one day and move us on the next. Unfortunately, our elderly, senile landlord, the reason for our move, decided on packing day to accost the lead mover and give him directions about how to move our belongings while verbally assaulting us. The police were summoned, and instructed the landlord at great length not to interfere further with our contractors. Nevertheless, the movers understandably notified their headquarters, who told them to vacate the premises and not to return. We asked the line supervisor at hq to contact the police officers for reassurance or to let us talk to the manager in charge. Neither occurred. He said their contract with us was not binding, and everyone vanished. After repeated calls, we did reach a manager around 1 pm who was unresponsive and unapologetic. We were left to begin negotiating from scratch for a massive 2-day pack and move to occur all on the following day, at a much higher cost in dollars and distress. Hopefully our circumstances are almost unique, but as landlord disputes are increasingly common in this property-mad area, any clients anticipating similar problems should be aware of our story."
