I was seeking to renew my passport and purchase a new
passport for my infant. When opening the I
filled out the corresponding passport applications. The design of the
website suggested that I needed to purchase the passports online in
order to receive them in due time, so I provided my credit card
information. I was then charged for a Rush passport service which I do
not want or need! $129 per person, totaling $258.

discuss a refund. My call was met with a polite female representative
apologizing to me for the inconvenience of being charged for a service

refund. My husband's call was answered by a male representative who rudely
told him he would not refund the service. When my husband asked to
please speak with his manager, the representative then said, 'Have a
nice day,' and hung up on my husband!

number 3 to 'Cancel passport service,' however, this is obviously not
possible to do!
The rudeness of the male representative in not even attempting to mitigate this
situation by allowing us access to speak with a manager of the company
is both unprofessional and unacceptable.
Additionally, as so many others have experienced the same treatment with this company (according
clearly not using Rush service!)I can only assume that the company is
knowingly capitalizing on the confusion its website creates, misleading
people into thinking they are purchasing a passport directly from the
U.S. Dept. of State, rather than a rush service that they do not need.
We have reported this issue to the Better Business Bureau as well.
