Internet Service Reviews in San Francisco

I've had various internet services over the years but
is pretty stable. The internet service is superior. But they were not all that responsive, because they were hard to get to. The price is actually pretty good though. I would continue using it in the future because I don't really have any choice. It's the fastest so far in my neighborhood.

We are being charged for a service that was not used. When asking
politely for a refund, the representative said it wasn't possible. We asked to speak to a manager and
the rep hung up on us!
I was seeking to renew my passport and purchase a new
passport for my infant. When opening the
Now website, I
filled out the corresponding passport applications. The design of the
website suggested that I needed to purchase the passports online in
order to receive them in due time, so I provided my credit card
information. I was then charged for a Rush passport service which I do
not want or need! $129 per person, totaling $258.
I went to my local post office to clarify that I did not indeed need this service, and a
worker informed me that many people had come in recently having
the same issue with this website,
Now, as it is the first
to come up when searching for information on how to fill out an
application online for renewing or obtaining a new passport.
worker told me also that many people had been charged for a Rush
service that they did not need, believing they were instead paying for
an online passport processing fee itself ($110 for my renewal, $80 for
my infant's new passport).
Two separate times, my husband and I called
Now directly to
discuss a refund. My call was met with a polite female representative
apologizing to me for the inconvenience of being charged for a service
I would not be using, but telling me that she could not provide a
refund. My husband's call was answered by a male representative who rudely
told him he would not refund the service. When my husband asked to
please speak with his manager, the representative then said, 'Have a
nice day,' and hung up on my husband!
Under no circumstances should we be paying for a service that we did not receive and are not planning to
The company has an option on their phone system for callers to choose
number 3 to 'Cancel passport service,' however, this is obviously not
possible to do!
The rudeness of the male representative in not even attempting to mitigate this
situation by allowing us access to speak with a manager of the company
is both unprofessional and unacceptable.
Additionally, as so many others have experienced the same treatment with this company (according
to the
worker I spoke with upon mailing the passport myself ~
clearly not using Rush service!)I can only assume that the company is
knowingly capitalizing on the confusion its website creates, misleading
people into thinking they are purchasing a passport directly from the
U.S. Dept. of State, rather than a rush service that they do not need.
We have reported this issue to the Better Business Bureau as well.

Internet Service reviews in San Francisco

I just moved to SF and my experience with
San Francisco Internet Service Providers Provider Name Locked
has been underwhelming, to say the most. The installer arrived late, didn't explain anything and left me to learn how to set things up. I need a detailed billing statement to submit the Internet portion of the bill as a business expense to my employer, however,
San Francisco Internet Service Providers Provider Name Locked
's off-shore support simply repeated the same thing over and over again, regardless how I rephrased the
San Francisco Internet Service Providers Provider Name Locked
question "how can I get an itemized statement for my first bill?". I was transferred three times with no one being able/willing to help me. The last person put me on hold, as did every
San Francisco Internet Service Providers Provider Name Locked
customer support agent, then hung up on me. I was pleasant, patient and dutifully repeated the same answers tot he same questions, over and over again with each
San Francisco Internet Service Providers Provider Name Locked
customer service agent. For the high cost, they lack any apparent ability to support their service. Also, just as a side note, the service lags/hangs at times, so changing channels and/or changing html pages sometimes takes awhile. Caveat Emptor
