"PG&E found a gas leak in my basement. I contacted
and the owner came to my home, assessed the problem, gave me an estimate and set up" a time to return and do the repair. One of his workers came the next day at the appointed time, went right to work and completed the job in a timely, efficient manner. Every step was professionally handled.
has been my go to plumber for more than 10 years ever since he did work at my previous address.

"I first used
and Rooter to fix a gas leak coming from my oven's shutoff valve. I called one afternoon around 4:30 and
" arrived 30 minutes later. He diagnosed the problem and came back the next afternoon to fix it. The repair was great, but I particularly appreciated their promptness and flexibility with scheduling. I previously had American Home Shield insurance and had to use their contractors. I always received a 4 hour window and had to take time off of work to get things fixed in the home.
from Ace came right away, and schedule the actual repair for the next day at a time when I was available after work. This experience was so good that I used them again 3 weeks later when my main sewer line was blocked. I scheduled an appointment for a Wednesday, but was home early on a Monday and I called and
was once again there within 30 minutes. He had diagnosed the problem before even ringing the doorbell. He actually showed up again on Wednesday because they forgot to cancel the original appointment. Instead of leaving, he came in to inspect my sewer drains and gave me some advice about my water heater.I ask a lot of questions about repairs and he answered all of them (for some he
diagrams). I can't compare Ace's prices to anyone else's, but I don't really have a desire to try a different company to find out--the experience was that good.

Estimate done quickly, contract within next day, work started soon thereafter, workers on-time, cleaned up daily and finished project on time.

arrived on time and looked at what I wanted to have done. He routed a logical path to get the gas line from the meters at street level up the back of the house and into my laundry room, kitchen and attic with minimal pipe showing inside. He mailed me an estimate two days later which was $3000 less than the other estimate I had gotten. I talked to him and asked if we could add a bit more work for future improvements we hope to make. He said he would just charge me for additional time and not the additional materials. I signed the estimate and sent a down payment of 10% of the initial estimate. He called me to give me a date and time to start.

arrived right on time and discussed the job with me. We made a few changes in the routing of the pipe at that time for easier access to everything with less pipe showing. He told me the job would take two days and the inspection had been set up for the third day. The first day there were two men working and the second day, three. Everyone was really nice and very professional. They tried to keep everything clean. We passed inspection the following day. I had to call

back because our neighbors had an issue with their water heater and

pilots. He was very nice and came back to make sure that all the pilots were lit and everyone was happy. They also snaked out a plugged outside drain for me during the time they were here free of charge. After the job was done,

called me back to let me know that the additional time and materials for the extra work came to $700. Since they had reused some of the pipe for the fireplace that they couldn't get out, he said that he would only charge me $400 for the additional time.

It went well. I did have to pay an extra 10 dollars for the fuel charge to the hardware store. I don't mind paying this, but I do think it is strange that they wouldn't have gas hoses in the truck - seems like a common repair, to me. This is why I rated the price as a "B". I have used
San Francisco Gas Repair Services Provider Name Locked
several times in the past and have been pleased with their professionalism and with the quality of their work.

I've never actually had this happen before but I waited around for

's Plumbing three separate times and he never showed. After an hour past the window he was supposed to be here, I called

up, and he apologized saying that he just got tied up at another appointment. We rescheduled for the next day. Same thing, no show, no call! I left several messages but got no return call. Finally when I got him on the phone, he apologized again. I said that I would give him one more

if he discounted the job by $50 to which he agreed. Now today I waited around for two hours, he didn't show up and I only get his voice mail. What a lousy service, I'd recommend staying away from these guys.

worked with me on the design of the kitchen. He wrote up a very detailed contract which included the payment schedule.

supervised the electrician and plumber, and did most of the other work himself. He worked in a very professional manner with great attention to detail. He kept me informed throughout the entire process and was open to questions. He always left the work site clean and orderly at the end of each day. My new kitchen looks much larger than the original one, even though no walls were moved. My kitchen is bright, efficient, and easy to clean.

I was very satisfied with their services. They were very professional. They are a very dependable, and hard working company. A lot of my neighbors use them too, and they say the same thing. I would recommend them to anyone that needs a plumber.

I'm afraid that, as a non professional in the field of heating/plumbing, I'm ill equipped to provide you with details. On the other hand,
San Francisco Gas Repair Services Provider Name Locked
... a consummate professional ... identified the problem, per my request.
My appointment was set from between 11 and noon. The doorbell rang at 11. I call that prompt.
My sense is that he worked efficiently, although I tend to stay out of the way of workmen, unless, or until they need something. I'm very satisfied with that aspect of the job.
I was astonished at the bill. I assumed that I was going to have a charge that ran between $400-$500. That is not unusual in San
San Francisco Gas Repair Services Provider Name Locked
. And it is the range of my last plumbing bill, which was from one of the "rooter" chains in the area ... I can't recall which one. My bill, for an hour's work, was $135.00! I was also impressed that they had the confidence in me, as a first time customer, to bill me. Whether, or not, that's because I mentioned that I found them through Angie's list, I don't know. But, it's a nice touch.
I have e-mailed
