" was professional, meticulous and punctual from start to finish. He provided a detailed estimate and was able to complete all the tasks on time. He was conscientious of our budget, time frame, design esthetic and our guidelines for construction work.
I've had the of working with other "craftsman" before and I must say that they left a lot to be desired. In fact, my previous experience with them was the reason I decided to join Angie's List. I decided to go with after conducting what many would consider "anal" due diligence, but am happy to report that it was extremely worth it. I will definitely hire again without hesitation."

"I'm not sure if I'd use them again or not, but the price was right so I probably would, especially if I didn't have any modifications or new flooring with which to deal.
We had them come to refinish our existing great room which had been a living room and part of a kitchen floor and add a bit or flooring, while matching the color, and I thought matching the finish.
First off, communication was a problem. At first we wouldn't let them dismantle our breaker box to get the 220v needed to sand the floors. The boss was flat out rude to my wife, yelling, "Let me do my job!".
There was an height difference of 3/4" of an inch, so they simply installed a quarter round, resulting in a blunt bump. I had visions of my father falling face down on the floor, so I purchased on my own time and expense, the proper transition between wood and tile or carpet. They're in the hardwood floor business and they didn't have this?!
Finally, I said I wanted the color and finish to match the pecan, glossy coating in the hall and every other room. While they matched the color, they didn't bother to tell me that they only do finish. Or maybe that's the style currently, but when the job was sold, they said it would match. Now it'd be nice to do the whole rest of the apartment to match.
To be fair they did a good job matching the new wood to the pre-existing aged wood, and the finish was even, though it was the , not glossy as I was expecting. And their price was the best so I suppose you do get what you pay for.
Because of the rudeness and the shoddy transition to the tile they tried to pass off, I'm not sure I'd hire them again. If you just want your floors sanded, stained and sealed, then the price is right. If you have the extra money, that's another story."

"I just had bought the condo with some very ugly grey tile floors which I replaced with some warm hardwood floor. I worked with Conor who was recommended to me by a friend. Conor is a very friendly and professional person. He came by the house to take measurements and warned me about possible increase in the cost depending on how the removal would go. The removal went fairly well but the plywood underneath was too damaged to be able to properly place the new floor. A new of plywood was added and then the new floor was laid down. The new floor is beautiful and from what I can tell properly installed and so far I haven't found any problem with it. I honestly believe that the place is much better now thanks to him.

"I am from the mid west and have worked with contractors, both here and there. I can honestly say that and his crew has been the best overall. I observed during the project that is an honest, hard working guy that is extremely concerned with keeping me the costumer, both happy and well informed throughout each project. He knows what he is doing and has high standards, but actually listened to me. also has Architectural and Interior design consultancy. I found that this service was unique for contractor but very helpful. They charge me for this service on an hourly rate that was very reasonable. I lived in the house while the work was being done, and it was completed on time and w/minimal disruption.
I highly recommend that you consider A+

"I own an old, four-unit in San . Initially when I attempted to contact contractors about the various projects that needed attention, they either did not return my calls or presented me with astronomical bids. From the very start, stood out by responding to my call immediately, being the only one to show up on time, and hreturning his bid to me sooner than any other contractors. His price came in somewhere in the mid range of bids that I?d received. I chose to work with because he came across from the very start as professional and hard-working. I?d also seen and read very positive reviews about previous work that his company had performed in the past. After I chose him to do the project and the work commenced, I realize that I had made the right decision. He made a major renovation relatively painless. He was always on site and performed a lot of the work himself. His attention to detail is extraordinary, from structural work to fine finishes and I designed the custom cabinetry, and when he finished this section of work I realized that he is a true craftsman. He always kept me informed with regards to progress of the project and even took the time to meet with me in the evening to discuss ideas the he or I had. A lot of the work was designed on site and it turned out better than I ever imagined. The site was kept very clean throughout. The project and was done on time and on budget.
I cannot recommend enough!!

"Yoav and his team were great. I spoke to a few of his references and they were all the same ... the guy is an artisan and loves his craft. When we picked the stain, he used a more time consuming method (we stained on white oak which was a very cool result) and we're very happy with the results and thankful he put in the extra mile. Would highly recommend!

"I am not very happy with them because some of the things won't get done. They company that they subtracted the job to doesn't do construction. They do floors. When they moved the refrigerator out, we discovered there was fake wood in there. We wanted it taken out to see if there were rotten boards underneath. The other company couldn't do it because they don't do construction. They never took the dishwasher out from under the sink. I thought that they would have taken the dishwasher out and looked underneath since it was the reason the kitchen flooded. They took advantage of the fact that most of it was being paid for by my insurance company."

"The workers came on time and removed all the damage ceiling and walls in one day. They cleaned up after each and every work day. The new wallboards were installed, and taped and sanded. They also retextured the ceiling to match the other rooms. The wood floors were then replaced, and they came out beautifully. There was a problem with a step between the dining area and the living room. It was not ordered on the original order, but they found a carpenter to construct one which matched the wooden floor. They also did some additional work which I wanted done since they were going to do the repairs. They replaced the counter tops on three bathroom vanities as well as the faucets. They also installed recessed lights in the kitchen as well. Everything looks like new and much better than it was before the water damage."

"Overall, they were ok, they did mis-bid the carpet installation so communication was just so-so. They provided fair quality and price, but not quite an A rated company."
