"They were friendly and punctual and provided good training. They picked our daughter up and she drove for a while, picked up their next trainee, and drove back home to be dropped off, so it was very convenient.

"This is the third child of ours to go through driving lessons with
Guilfoy. We are very pleased with the service. I feel he does a great job giving them helpful" hints and gives them the confidence they need to drive safely on their own. I would recommend his services.

"This school is run by a retired police officer, and staffed by both active and retired police officers. Officer
Young pulls no
! He was" wonderful with my 15 year old son. Although my son had some previous driving instruction, Officer Young started from the beginning - he said he wanted my son to learn "the right way" to drive, not "someone else's" way. He immediately pulled out a box of Matchbox cars and did a whole bunch of simulated accidents, had my son calculate how many car lengths to stay behind someone (fyi - it's NOT one car length for every 10 mph you're travelling like we all think...), and had my son completely engaged and interested from the beginning. When he took him out driving, he put him in real-world situations. He takes him on the highway and downtown, and will be teaching him how to drive on rural 2-lane roads. He's teaching him how to respond in emergency situations, and how to anticipate the unexpected. Very professional and great advice. At $110 for a 2 hour lesson, he was also the least expensive - and best - of any driving instructor we've used. Highly recommend him.

I honestly don't understand how this company has garnered all the positive reviews. On the plus side,
San Francisco Driver Education Provider Name Locked
was responsive to my phone calls and seemed very nice - but then he took 2 cigarette breaks while giving my son his lesson, and absolutely
San Francisco Driver Education Provider Name Locked
of cigarette smoke. I believe it's completely unprofessional to smoke during a lesson with a teenager - that just blew it for me (and for my son, who said he never wanted to get in the car with him again!) He also provided a piece of paper at the end of the lesson that was covered in "chicken scratches" - my son said it was diagrams of how to turn, and "some other stuff" - he couldn't really explain it, and I couldn't make heads or tails of it. This was also the most expensive of all the driving schools - $150 for a 2 hour lesson. Was really very disappointed.

I used
San Francisco Driver Education Provider Name Locked
for my teenage son to get his driver's license. I paid about $370 at the beginning for 6 hours of driving instructions which were broken down to 4 sessions (1-1/2 hours each) and included freeway driving, free pick-up and drop-off and usage of their car for the final driving test. Overall, it was a very convenient service, especially the last day when they came to pick up my son, took him to the driving test and brought him back with a license and a certificate to be used to lower the car insurance rate. My son's instructor was

. My son didn't seem to enjoy
San Francisco Driver Education Provider Name Locked
because he had to listen to

complain about other students constantly during the lessons. They told us to allow 30 minutes for my son to be picked up. For example, if his appointment time was at 3pm, sometimes

didn't come until 3:30 and so on, which was understandable. However, sometimes
San Francisco Driver Education Provider Name Locked
was ready to pick up my son earlier than scheduled and he was cross when my son wasn't ready or when he couldn't get ahold of us to tell us he was coming earlier, which didn't seem fair.

is a family-run business and

's wife or daughter answers the phone when you call their number. I had to call them probablly 4 times on different occasions and although the daughter was usually friendly enough, the wife always sounded cranky. On one occasion, they didn't return my call until a few days later. I would still recommend them for the convenient service that they provide but the experience may not be very pleasant.

Pat gave our daughter two, two-hour driving lessons, the second one building off the key areas covered in the first and it included a sample driver's test where he took her through the same basic elements that were covered on the actual driving test.
He spent a fair amount of time talking to our daughter instead of driving - making sure she understood all aspects of being a responsible, defensive driver.
The end result is the test - and I'm happy to say that our daughter received a 97/100 on her first attempt.

We (my wife and I, and our daughter) were very happy with
San Francisco Driver Education Provider Name Locked
. Although I obviously didn't participate in the classes or driving sessions, the instructors always were personable and very willing to answer all questions we had throughout the course, and all class sessions and driving sessions started and ended on time. Because our family life is hectic, it was good to have the ability to attend classes at different times and on different days, and even at different locations. Although we took advantage of this only once, it was nice to have the option available. Additionally, our daughter passed her state driving test on her first attempt, which -- based on the driving test results of some of her high school classmates (none of whom attended
San Francisco Driver Education Provider Name Locked
) -- apparently isn't incredibly common. When our son gets his learner's permit in 2 years, he will attend

also.

My wife and I cannot speak highly enough about
San Francisco Driver Education Provider Name Locked
of
San Francisco Driver Education Provider Name Locked
, and the assigned driving instructor,
San Francisco Driver Education Provider Name Locked
. My wife is from Uzbekistan, and she needed driving lessons prior to taking her driver's test for the first time.
After some initial research on-line comparing schools, followed by some phone calls, we settled on Noble, and am very happy that we did. Soon after filling out the registration on-line for my wife, the office manager contacted me and explained their pricing and services. After setting up a tentative date for my wife's first lesson,
San Francisco Driver Education Provider Name Locked
called us to to confirm when the date rolled around, and then we discussed the class schedule and driving lesson package. We ultimately settled for the initial 5-lesson package, about an hour to 1.5 hours each. That package had
San Francisco Driver Education Provider Name Locked
scheduling the lessons direct with my wife via text and phone, and coordinating his other student's schedules with my wife's work schedule.
After the first 5 lessons were complete,
San Francisco Driver Education Provider Name Locked
spoke with me on the phone to explain my wife's driving progress, and what she needed to work on in order to get ready for the driving test. We then agreed on another 5 lesson package, this time at a reduced cost because of the repeat business. We also used
San Francisco Driver Education Provider Name Locked
's
San Francisco Driver Education Provider Name Locked
car for my wife's test (though there was an extra charge for that), because it was the car she was most comfortable driving. Ultimately, my wife passed her driving test on the first attempt, and we have
San Francisco Driver Education Provider Name Locked
's patience, knowledge, encouragement and great teaching style to thank for that.

First when I called he was very patient with me. He told me of Drivers Ed class that he backed, which meant when two weeks went by after class finished and no certificate came in mail. I called
San Francisco Driver Education Provider Name Locked
personally and he answers phone.
San Francisco Driver Education Provider Name Locked
himself delivered certificate to my house next day no extra charge. Total 12.00. Online, but some online services I am sure will not deliver to your door if problem. I was impressed. Then when I asked about driving lessons. Since my grandson is 16 yrs, he recommended 2 lessons 80. (Each 2 hours) to get
San Francisco Driver Education Provider Name Locked
grandson familiar with driving and then I could do third lesson whenever I wanted (law requires 3 lessons). Very pleasant instructors came right on time. New car 2 steering wheels and 2 brakes my grandson said. Just all around great service!
