"We were very impressed with 's work. He was tidy and neat in preparation. He masterminded a beautiful tile and marble layout for our shower. His design was stunning. He made the bullnose for the shower walls himself. He worked over 8 hours a day to complete the job in approx. 1 week. He did not take any short-cuts, and did quality tile work. Wonderboard was not used, and the tile was cemented. cleaned up well after himself. P.S. He's also got a great personality; he's kind and humorous."

"I worked with a gentleman by the name of at the . had returned my initial telephone call before the same business day had ended. Upon completing the estimate, I was completely clear on the scope of work, expectations, and time frames given to me. The price was also clarified. The tile work was expeditiously completed and arrived at the work site on time for the day and a half/two day project. At the end of the first day, the tasks already completed and those remaining were further clarified.
Insofar as the finished product, I could not be more pleased. 's work is part of a "remodel, appraisal, and refinance" process on a condominium -so having an excellent job done was key. Specifically, the tools and materials used were above average (i.e., laser-guided edging and measuring, etc.). Also, once the tile was set, even went back to redo two tiles that had settled slightly off. Also notable was the expeditious manner in which the job was done without the sense of it being rushed.
All of the above, in my opinion, requires a more seasoned skill-set -which is all part of ending up with such a great outcome."

"It all went pretty well. He's a little slower than anticipated, which didn't effect things too much because I had plenty of time but if you're in a hurry the job might not happen quickly. His tile job was excellent."

"The work was completed while we were away on vacation since we only have one bathroom in our house and this would mean we would have no shower for about a week. We did all the prep work such as removal of old tile and moving plumbing for new fixtures. While we gone, they laid the backer board to match the plane of the existing sheet rock outside of the bathtub/shower. They installed a soap alcove so that it was centered on the wall underneath the shower head. They installed the slate tile so that the grout lines match with the top of the glass block window in the shower and so the that soap alcove fits perfectly within the grout lines. The work is very clean."

"The tile job was carefully done. It wasn't a job; tile was set diagonally with corner accent squares and room and shower borders. Two of the floors were not level. leveled one and it came out perfectly. On the other floor, we maintained a slight slant leading to a floor drain. Again, the work came out perfectly. always arrived when he said he would and recently when he was not sure if he would come back on a Saturday (to finish the job), he called ahead to give us an exact time. We paid more than the original bid due to the complexity of the job (we were not sure of how we wanted the tile laid when he first came to look and bid), but his increases were reasonable in relation to what we wanted. We did purchase too much tile and was the one who measured and told us the square footage to buy, so that was a very slight glitch, but we plan to use it on our third bathroom with different accents -- so no harm was done, and perhaps we are better off, actually. Whenever there was a question in his mind as to what we wanted, he called us (as we are not living in the house due to its condition). We have a third bathroom to do (on the main level) and he will do this work because we were very pleased with the first job."

"I picked the fixtures, tiles, paint, etc., and made suggestions in some places, but most of the stuff he left up to me. I didn't think that I was taking advantage of his design expertise, but in retrospect I realize he made a bunch of judgment calls on his own (fortunately they were good ones). We went out of town for the remodel. When we came back the bathroom was completion and looked great. Now that it is fully complete we are extremely happy with the work in the bathroom. I have gotten compliments and even gasps from everyone who goes in there (A+). The speaker and Ethernet work was not so glitch-free. We told him we planned to install Ethernet and speakers eventually and he said he had expertise in doing that kind of work, so we decided to let him do that too. I didn't notice that this work wasn't listed in the contract, however, and when we returned a lot of it was not done or was done improperly. We were going to mount speakers on our walls, but convinced us it would look better to do in-walls. We bought some nice speakers for $2000, but then discovered that our walls were problematic, didn't know how much it would cost to install them, and basically didn't want to bother (he was getting very busy with other projects at that point). I had to go elsewhere to get the job done. did install one set of speakers, and even one that had a problem; one of the speakers was almost inaudible. They returned to fix that and now it is fine. Finally, despite our leaving diagrams showing exactly where we wanted Ethernet ports, and our insistence that we wanted CAT6 wiring, we came home to find an electrician installing only one CAT5 line, and that in the wrong place. Again, he was doing the job as it was described in the contract, not as we had later discussed, and again I take responsibility for not checking fully. In any case, I'd give the speaker and Ethernet work a C, and that might be overly generous. This is reflected in my grade for quality and responsiveness, which would have been an A if I graded only on the bathroom portion of the job. In the end we got everything the way we wanted it, so I'm happy. I will definitely use again for his core competency, creating fabulous bathrooms, but I would find a specialist for wiring for Ethernet and speakers."

"I called for an estimate, and called me back within a few hours. He asked about the project and gave me an estimate right then. Once hired, he was able to come by and do the installation within a week. I had some requirements to deal with from my electrician, and and his assistant were able to work with that. Also, I had not told him how I wanted the tile laid; when I did, it added a little to the price of the installation, but was understandable. Installation took three days and everything was done as I expected and discussed with ."

"It went very well, surprisingly well. I was more involved with the process at the beginning, but toward the end, I handed over control to the contractor. He finished it up swiftly which was nice, given I was eight months pregnant."

"This was a very good experience. repaired a previous botched job by a marble and tile contractor. He was easy to work with, responsible, and did exactly what he said he would do. He even did extra work (without charge) that wasn't specified in the contract. He takes great pride in his work."
