I gave him the particulars and he provided a verbal estimate which he followed up with in writing a couple of days later. I confirmed the slot, then added a rug cleaning to the assignment.

He arrived with 1 helper, assessed the situation, gave a recommendation on a bleach stain (that I chose to not switch out), and then when I asked about the estimate, he chose a number in between the estimate range. It sounded fair to me and then he got to work. Their machinery vaccumed and steamed the carpet at the same time. They attached their hose to one of my faucets. He was courteous and professional in explaining what was to be done, how long it'd take to dry, and showed me some rooms so I could run the hands over the carpet. Our walls were just painted and they were careful to not ram into them."
