"I came in for an estimate.

took a look at the damage, figured out the estimate on the computer program (same as others had used), but the cost was nearly $500.00 less for the fender than the highest estimate, although $200.00 more for the bumper than that estimate, which was just a sand and paint job. However,

replaced the bumper (Another body shop had told me it needed replacement because the side of the bumper was torn from the body of the car). I chose the day to bring it in to suit my schedule, and the work was done on time."

"The piece underneath the rear bumper, although damaged, was not replaced. The excuse was that they were trying to save me money. I never asked to cut corners in an effort to save money, and for one of the accidents, I had complete insurance coverage, so saving money was not an issue. After the side accident, I taped my mirror back together and saved the back piece in case they'd need it. Rather than fixing the mirror, they left it as I'd taped it and slapped the back cover on to hide the tape. There is a piece on the boot door that should have been replaced but instead was just glued back into place, and is now falling off again. Most of the paint job was satisfactory, although there are parts where I can see that work was done."
