"After researching several companies via Angieslist I chose 
. Also had noted their name as a booth at the upcoming Home Fair at Mar Fairgrounds. I liked the fact that they specialize in tankless water heater installation. I also liked the fact that they responded to many of the Angieslist comments, both negative and positive. came out the day after my initial call to give me an estimate. I thought their prices were a little high, but I did decide on a "Cadillac" level Rinnai. Because there is a long distance between the heater and the farthest bathroom (which is the one most used), I also opted for a recirculating pump to ensure less water loss in waiting for it to heat up. Two days later they arrived to install. called to tell me they were late in receiving the delivery, which I appreciated, but he sent one of his men over anyway to begin removal of the old unit. It took approximately three to four hours for the three men to complete the job. They were clean, polite, and friendly. I discovered a minor leak right after they left and called them back. They were at lunch but returned within an hour and fixed it."

"My water Heater went out on a Friday night and I called > cant recommend these guys highly enough. they scheduled me for the next day ans told me they would call around noon for more specific time. they did. when the tech came they realized they brought wrong size water heater ( miscommunication my end). now its 2:30 asked if he could still change out that evening and did so coming back promptly when he said he would and finished installing at 10:30 that night! these guys new we needed to get hot water back on and did what needed to be done in a professional, ans courteous manner. I would recommend to anyone !."

"The entire experience went better that I could have hoped for. My water heater stopped working on a Friday afternoon while I was on travel away from home and wouldn't be home for more than another week. My wife was without hot water and without any skill in correcting the problem. SDG&E tried to relight pilot light and told my wife the thermocouple needed replacement. I found and another provider via the list. The other provider called back first and offered to replace the whole water heater with a unit he had that he was unable to install at another job. I agreed and made an appointment to have the work done. called minutes later. provided me extensive information on why the deal offered from the other vendor might not be such a good deal after all. He provided information about code compliance and other issues that I hadn't considered. He also advised me on information about tank-less water heating systems that was timely and very helpful in deciding how to proceed. Once done he was then gracious and told me what I did was up to me. I felt obligated to go with the other provider because I had already made the appointment, even though I had spoken with at length and felt I should probably have gone with him. took no offense at me going with the other provider and offered additional advice to make sure things went smoothly. It so happens that the other provider flaked on me within an hour. I called back and he was happy to come out and do the job that day. The price was more than fair and the service was superb. This was a holiday, he knew I was away and knew how urgent I considered the situation (the quintessential definition of "over a barrel") but didn't take any advantage of that to raise his standard price. He was professional, timely and extremely helpful. I would hire this man again in a minute and consider him the as my first choice for any plumbing work I might need to have done in the future."

"Mr. was very professional. The valves that needed to be replaced were more difficult to work on than expected, resulting in an extra hour of work time. He did not complain and did not increase the charge for the work that was completed. All work was completed to my satisfaction."

"Needed work done quickly so I agreed to the excessive pricing. Would not use them again...paid twice what the work was worth. My attempt to get a clear explanation of the pricing from their warehouse manager ( ) was met with a defensive posture and an incomplete response. "

"Came home around 7:30 pm to find our water heater (inside garage) was leaking. I had to make a quick decision about who to call so I remember having seen this company on Angie's list, had seen their trucks around the area and they had coupons online and in local publications. from told me the hourly rate and it seemed high but not knowing what the going rate was and not having time to call around, I accepted it. was personable and knowledgeable. He drained the water heater and while he was waiting for that installed a new pressure regulator that he told us needed replacing. He also discussed with us the possibility of our soft water system having been the cause of our 10 year warrantied water heater leaking only after 5 years of use. He suggested replacing the soft water system with a whole house filtration system which happens to sell. Because our water heater was warrantied, we would have to wait until the next day to get a new one installed since we were not buying one from ; they would pick it up from the manufacturer's supplier. There was a miscommunication within the office because someone was supposed to have called me to let me know when the new heater would be installed. No one called so I contacted the office around noon to see if when the new water heater would be installed. apologized for the miscommunication and arrived with the new water heater later that afternoon. He installed it along with a drain . When he gave me the final balance owed for the job, I was surprised that it was that much because I thought the original estimate he gave us had included the actual price of a water heater which I thought would be subtracted because ours was warrantied. There was even an online coupon for 15% off up to $100 that was applied and still I was surprised that it cost us $850 to remove and install a new water and the charge was all labor plus another $347.00 for the pressure regulator. explained that part of that $850 was a $200 turn around charge which even after he explained why it was charged made no sense to us. "

"Our hot water heater burst on 9-14-09, it was under warrenty so I called , who took 3 days to get me in touch with a contracting agent to install it. (FWH) was that company. From the first contact they were efficient, courtious and empathetic to my situation. You see my husband is disabled and in a power chair. We had been without water for 2 days when FWH called and set up the appointment. arrived to install the water heater. He was professional, courtious, experienced and empathetic to my situation. He arrived within 30 minutes of the said time. After he left we noticed that our water pressure was really low on the hot water side. We gave it a week then called back on the 24th. At which they sent out within 3 hours. He was also experienced, empathetic, professional and fast. He found the problem and fixed it wihtout hesitation.
THis was the best experience I have ever had with a heating company or plumber or contractor of any kind. I will not heasitated to recommend Fas Water Heater Cpmpany to all my family and friends.

"He was working on new construction on my street and I asked for a bid to install a tankless water heater. I ended up not doing that because of needing to run a larger gas line and venting issues, so I had him replace a 40 gas water heater. His bid and cost was substantially lower than two others bids taken from Yellow Pages. There was a delay as I pondered the tankless alternative; however, installation was fast, and I did not need a new catch so he used the old one. Quality work and installation. I recommend him and will use him again."

"I called on the 4th of , and they said they would actually come out. They came very quickly and were very nice. They flipped a switch on my hot water heater and it went on. Then they showed me how to do that so I wouldn't have to call them out in the future. Then they said, "Happy 4th of ," and told me it was free of charge! I couldn't believe it and couldn't thank them enough."
