San Diego Property Managers Reviews

"Georgia and
San Diego Property Managers Provider Name Locked
were consistently a pleasure to work with. As noted in my ratings, they were professional and very responsive to both my tenant and me. I was very happy with them during the year and a half that I used their services; I never worried about anything. When the tenant called to get something repaired, I was notified immediately and
San Diego Property Managers Provider Name Locked
coordinated the necessary work promptly. I would both use them again myself and I would recommend them to others, without hesitation. The only reason for the overall B rating is that I had to point out a couple minor oversights during the period I used them; that said, each time I pointed anything out, they were quick to confirm and rectify the situation. If there was a rating for Customer Service, I'd rate that an A.
In fact, I feel a little bad rating them a B. I'd say B+/A-. Very happy nonetheless!
"At first things were fine. The property seemed to be taking care of itself and the rental payments arrived timely and Advent rates were very reasonable. There were a few complaints from neighbors about loud parties. These tenants did not renew at the end of the year, the interior was painted and new tenants moved in. These tenants were fine, but after a year did not renew. Renewals were not handled proactively and timely by Advent, I had to bug them repeatedly for renewal status. Year end reports did not include grand totals, I needed to manually total monthly reports. The interior was again painted and the carpet partially changed. The next tenants seemed to love the place and stayed 3 years. Advent claimed to make maintenance checks each year; minor repairs were noted and fixed. The tenants rent payments started coming late, they were given notice and vacated. Advent reported suggested maintenance. I decided to inspect the place myself, and found damage, trash, graffiti, vandalism, insects, sewer drainage problems and deferred maintenance that had not been reported to me. The neighbors I spoke with all told me I should fire the property manager. Several problems, such as violation of the pet agreement and serious safety hazards should have been visible to Advent during the annual inspections. And some areas of the interior did not seem to have been painted in over 5 years. All told I spent about $30K on repairs and deferred maintenance. These were not minor problems. My decision to discontinue Advent was when water service was turned off in the middle of my repairs. Advent did not reliably communicate the full extent of problems to me, the property owner, and work with me to resolve issues timely as they arose. Over time the quality of the property degraded. Changes I would suggest to Advent are more attention and training to honestly communicate bad news, more diligence during maintenance inspections, and more attention to communication with property neighbors.
"I first met
San Diego Property Managers Provider Name Locked
this month. We had talked on the phone about my house and what it means to me. We also discussed what type of renters I wanted. We met and he seems very nice and knowledgable. He has already arranged to have someone come and fix the grout in the bathroom and he has ordered some blinds and will replace them. Right now, I am very pleased with
San Diego Property Managers Provider Name Locked
and I hope that continues as he manages my house. He is great!
"He did a good job getting the renter to cooperate. He made sure the rent was paid on time. He maintained the property's up keep. He was prompt. He answered his phone."
"The project was completed on-time and under budget. I could not be happier with
San Diego Property Managers Provider Name Locked
.There team of guys are friendly respectful and will not disappoint. There quality and working knowledge is obvious. From start to finish they are by far a step above other contractors I have used. I recommend giving them a call before before deciding on any construction project in your home."
"He is our property manager for two of our houses. One was my parents that I inherited and the other was our previous dwelling which we rented out now. He makes sure that the place has tenants all the time. He will take care of any repairs. If there is any complaints from the tenants about anything he takes care of it and makes sure everything gets fixed. There is no one better than him and I can tell you there may be someone equally good but no one better. we've been with him for years now may be eight to ten years and we have never had a month without a tenant. When a tenant leaves he takes care. He does all the background checking. He has a nice sense of humor so he spends time and talks to you. He is very balanced person as far as balancing the needs of the tenants to my needs. He will check both sides and taking into account which I appreciate."
San Diego Property Managers Provider Name Locked
was a wonderful group to work with. The three of them are extremely helpful and work together seamlessly to get the job done. (At one point we were traveling on the East Coast and a family member was locked out of our house accidentally. From the subway I texted
San Diego Property Managers Provider Name Locked
to help, who in turn contacted Rich who went to the house within minutes to let her in! Whew!!) They recommended vendors to help spruce up our old home before listing it, they did a Realtor preview walk-thru before the open house, and helped us secure multiple offers on our listing in less than a couple of days. They priced the house "just right" and helped us secure more money than we originally thought we'd get on the house. We were extremely pleased with their guidance and help.
They were also instrumental in helping us secure our new home. It was a new-build, but they made recommendations, helped us thru the purchase, and were always available to answer any questions we may have about new builds and what we should be aware of, ask for and so on.
While we were in the midst of selling and buying, we had a trip planned abroad. Because
San Diego Property Managers Provider Name Locked
uses current technologies, they were able to have us "e-sign" many documents so as to not hold up the process of selling and buying. We were in touch thru/out our entire trip and it really felt that we had someone looking out for us at home.
It is challenging to find a Realtor who you feel would be "on your side" and mesh well with your personality. We wanted someone honest and straight forward without any pretense.
San Diego Property Managers Provider Name Locked
is honest and always gave us great guidance. We were very comfortable in working with them because we trusted them.
The process of selling and buying was made so much easier and nicer by working with
San Diego Property Managers Provider Name Locked
. I absolutely trust them, and highly recommend them to anyone I know buying or selling. And in the future, when we are ready to "down-size", when we have an empty nest,
San Diego Property Managers Provider Name Locked
is who we will once again turn to to help us.
"S.H.E. Management began managing the apartment building I live in a few months ago. Communication to residents has been non-existent or too late - for instance, window washing was scheduled, and then never happened. Finally weeks later something was posted. I'm just hoping our
San Diego Property Managers Provider Name Locked
can get rid of them when the contract is up.
"We live in a different state and was looking for a town house in San

's company on the web and called her in December 2011.
San Diego Property Managers Provider Name Locked
immediately started looking and sent us listings. My husband flew there, and she showed him around in different neighborhoods. After some ups and

, we finally bought one in a nice neighborhood in
San Diego Property Managers Provider Name Locked
and rent it out in August. Throughout the process,
San Diego Property Managers Provider Name Locked
was patient, listening to what we want and giving us her advice. She took videos of the homes she thinks we may like and emailed them to us. When we closed on a townhome, she paid for one year home warranty for us. She also took care of most of the issues to get the house ready for rent. Her management fee is reasonable, and she and her staff get to issues quickly. Overall we are satisfied with her service; she has been very nice and professional!
"Superior service that continues to exceed my expectations.
San Diego Property Managers Provider Name Locked
is on top of every phase of the rental process, and is professional, communicative, and responsive throughout an issues that may arise.
Would highly recommend.
