Pool Cleaning Reviews in San Diego

It was seamless and it could have been a huge headache. Understand, we live in Germany and this home in
is to be our retirement home in a few years. Meanwhile, my pregnant daughter and son-in-law had just moved in. We knew the pool had some potentially serious issues as we had a pool inspection completed prior to escrow closing. We didn't know what all the causes for the problems were, just that issues were found, but we went ahead and made the home purchase anyway and hoped for the best. We were SO lucky to find
on Angie's List. We chose him because of his already very high ratings from previous customers.
did not overpromise, then under-deliver, like so many contractors have done.
communicated to us that the previous tenants were likely just dumping in chlorine and clearly had not been maintaining the pool properly. The chlorine had eaten away the grout and the previous owners had altered the pool light wiring, there was a leak in the skimmer, a leak in the Jacuzzi wall and he knew we were new pool owners and knew nothing. So he would email us and answer any and all of our questions, he walked our daughter and son-in-law through everything, showing them and explaining to them how to care for our pool and exactly what was causing each issue. He showed them the corrosion, snipped wires, etc... My brother had mentioned the salt-chlorine generator idea to me as he had one in his pool in N.Mexico and loved it, and for new or inexperienced pool owners, he thought we might want to ask about it. I asked
about it and he explained the pros and cons and let us decide while he continued to work the other issues and fix things. He gave us a price, consistent with all our research, so we decided to add in the salt-chlorine generator. He also noted that all the elbows in the piping were not necessary and would impact the efficiency of the pool so he re-routed the pipes so it will run more efficiently. He found 2 leaks that explained the loss of water detected during the pool inspection. He re-set the pump and refilled the pool and it works and looks absolutely beautiful. He provided our kids with everything they need to maintain the pool properly. He did not expect payment until the end of the job when we were completely satisfied.
has an exceptional work ethic, completed all of this so very quickly. I cannot think of even one single thing that we had a concern with. If
says something needs to be fixed or if he makes a recommendation, you can be assured he knows what he is talking about. I received value for the money we spent and you can't ask for more than that! You will not regret working with
; he is trustworthy and very reliable. No one else is touching our pool/Jacuzzi!!!!

He cancelled two appointments at the last minute. When he showed up, he was pleasant and professional and stayed an extra 0.5 hour to fix the blackflush system.

Pool Cleaning reviews in San Diego

When I called
San Diego Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
, he provided me with lots of useful information. He not only answered my questions, but he provided useful information I didn't even think about asking. When he came over to do the job, he asked me what he had quoted me for, and I told him. He said, "Seriously?" He then said, "That's fine," and didn't argue one bit.

did a great job with the installation, gave recommendations, and showed me how to operate the pump a bit. If I need any other equipment installed,

would be the first person I would call.

San Diego Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
, the owner/installer, answered my phone call and came out the same day to give me a quote. I received a written quote by email the following day.
San Diego Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
quoted only the necessary work, exactly what I requested. He suggested repairing the pool pump for $90 rather than purchasing a new pump for $1200. He returned with a helper and completed the work on the agreed upon day (a Saturday) and the work was done very skillfully. I will definitely use
San Diego Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
again in the future if I need further pool equipment maintenance.

Precision’s crew arrived on-time (traveled down from Riverside County), were fast (about 2 hours), and efficient in cleaning and sealing my pool and spa tile. With the sealer they applied, the appearance of the tile is amazing - clean and shinny. I’m extremely pleased and satisfied.

I found this company from a pool leak page on the web after searching desperately for a pool company that specializes in leak detection and repair. This company normally has other pool companies as clients. I asked them to come on Angie's list and I am glad they did.
They used the latest in leak detection methods, including air pressure and underwater microphones to test and isolate three trouble spots: 1) a leaking hydrostatic valve in the main drain that started leaking hundreds of gallons of water per day after the last leak detection contractor had messed with it, 2) a broken line between the skimmer and the main drain which was the main source of water leak before item number 1 became an issue, and 3) porous small leaks in the spa drain. They also removed and shielded the light fixture to keep it water tight. This was the same light fixture that the last contractor said he would have to break in order to remove it.

explained everything they did and checked along the way. They are experienced pool contractors and did a great job. I am very satisfied with their work. I also have to say that removing the ancient metal hydrostatic valve in the main drain was very difficult but they did it without requiring the drain box replacement.
These guys know what they are doing. I am so relieved to finally have all the problems fixed.

Let me preface my comments by saying that I have used
San Diego Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
in the past for regular plumbing leaks and this is what they are good at. They are not a pool company.
I noticed that the 30+ year old pool was leaking water after having a leaking pool fill valve replaced. The equipment was so old it was also leaking water above ground. I called
San Diego Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
which is the only company listed here on Angie's list as explicitly being able to provide pool leak detection in the area with any recent reviews. I spoke to
San Diego Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
Was told by
San Diego Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
that the pool had to be clean, the equipment functioning properly and the water level at normal levels for them to check for leaks. The leak was so persistent that it had leaked to below the skimmer opening before I added water again. I told him this.
The equipment was leaking so much I could not get a good vacuum seal to be able to clean the pool well enough for the technician to dive in.
San Diego Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
was the technician. I told him that the water had leaked two inches below the skimmer opening when he arrived. On 3/5/2014 He tested the spa jets, the pool return, the inlet line going back from the skimmer to the equipment and said that the lines were not leaking but that the skimmer was separating from the pool wall and leaking there. He said that although it could be fixed with epoxy, he wanted to dig up the entire section of the pool around the skimmer and replace the skimmer throat. He quoted me a price of $1770-$1870.
I also said I was going to get all the equipment replaced and a new gas line run in for the heater. He said he could do that and would go get an estimate but never got back to me. I called
San Diego Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
again and spoke to
San Diego Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
, letting him know that I was going to go a different direction for now and would call them again when I had everything broken above ground fixed.
In the interim, I hired another company who is the highest rated pool service company in the area on Angie's list and had all equipment replaced, new gas line run in, etc. The replacement equipment includes a state of the art pump. They did a fabulous job. I had the water return set to 50% spa, 50% pool. I noticed that when I set the return to 100% spa, the water level did not drop but if set to pool, it was losing about 1/4 inch -1/2inch or more per day. I ran the system for a week with no water loss with inlet set to pool skimmer and return set to 100% spa jets. I called
San Diego Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
again and spoke to
San Diego Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
. I told him that I was still chasing a pool leak and could they continue their investigation. I told him he could send a different technician and was told that
San Diego Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
is the only one.

came back on Friday 4/4/2014. He retested all lines, could not find any leaks. He went into the pool and said he could not test the light fixure without breaking it. He said that the bottom drain should have a spring loaded check valve but it wasnt working. He recommended to replace it but did not say it was leaking. He mentioned the skimmer again, saying that the epoxy job was not smooth. I said as long it is not leaking I don't care if it is smooth or not.
When he left, the pump was on for its afternoon 3-5PM daily timer setting. I added some water to bring it to the tile line. The next morning I checked at 8AM, the pool and the spa had lost two inches of water. I contacted
San Diego Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
. He said he would find out when he can come back. I shut off the equipment so it would not run over the weekend. So far, the pool has lost 6 inches of water. Whatever he did made the problem worse, because now it loses water no matter what. It is Monday, I have not heard from anyone at
San Diego Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
Will provide an update when I see how this plays out.

This guy knows spas, and he does good work. He showed up when he said he would, and did a professional job in all cases. He is a bit pricey, but I think if you want it done right the first time you need to pay for that. He is not a particularly patient man, but I was willing to deal with that minor issue because he does good work. I will recommend him to the new owners of our house.

We were referred to ACS by our pool maintenance tech. They troubleshot and repaired our old pool/spa heater twice in the last year. Necessary replacement parts were ordered and installed in a timely manner and the repair costs were reasonable.
The owner/technician is in high demand due to his expertise, but is worth the wait as he will properly diagnose and fix what needs to be repaired the first time.
Very satisfied with service and customer focus of this company. Glad we found him to keep our old, problem-prone heater running.

Provider showed up on time, quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Overall, a great job and relatively cost effective.
