"As always, the plumber called ahead to let me know he was on the way and arrived within the stated time frame. He was happy to take the Angie's List coupon which reduced the bill from $425 to $360.  We thought the pressure was a little low  in the days following the installation of the new valve (pressure was preset by the manufacturer) so ...more we called and they were happy to come out the next day and make the adjustment at no additional charge.  In the past few years they have installed four new faucets and their shut off valves and fixed a loose faucet in the kitchen.  They installed a new toilet and shut off valve after a Handyman service botched the re-installation of the old one.  The plumbers and helpers are always efficient, respectful and clean up after themselves.  I've been very happy with their service."

"LB Powers said 1/2 hour minimum charge for a repair estimate on a 30+ year old forced air furnace. I told them the age on the phone. Their guy was here less than 5 minutes, took a look and said it "could" be repaired but he suggested I buy a new one. Had the bill just come for half hour I would have shrugged this off, but when it came for 3/4 of an our it was flat our insulting. Especially considering no estimate was given, they do not even work on forced air furnaces and their office is only 10 minutes away.
