"Both when he came to take a look at my piano and when he returned, Mr.
San Diego Piano Tuners Provider Name Locked
was true to his appointment to the minute. Despite the extensive work that had to be done, his estimated time and cost were spot on. In a week and a half, I had my piano back in one piece, cleaned, and then painstakingly tuned once the piano was reassembled. $400 was for the refurbishing job, and only $80 was charged for the cleaning and tuning despite the fact that I know it took longer than your average 'tune-up" tuning. "We obtained a quote by telephone, and within four days, the piano tuner was on our doorstep. Mr
San Diego Piano Tuners Provider Name Locked
is a charming gentleman. He arrived on time, and was very polite and helpful. His tuning method uses the good old-fashioned tuning fork, a great sense of

, and patient persistence. Our piano now sounds wonderful. One of the keys has a habit of sticking, and the right pedal is noisy and doesn't work properly. He said that next time he could fix it for about $15. Overall, very reasonably priced;exactly as quoted by phone, a very nice man, and we will certainly ask him to tune our piano again."

"We had received an older spinet piano from a friend that was in desperate need of a tuning. I had a bit of a problem originally trying to connect up with mr.
San Diego Piano Tuners Provider Name Locked
as he was either out of town, I was busy, I had forgotten or whatever. When we did finally get together, he was a bit late in arriving, but once he began to work on the piano, all of those original problems disappeared. He was very professional and took his work very seriously. He was dressed well and was well-groomed. He had good manners when talking with my young children who were extremely curious about his work. He took rather a long time to tune the piano, but that wasn't a surprise considering that it hadn't been tuned in 20 years! He didn't give me an initial price quote, nor an original time quote so I was a bit apprehensive at the end to find out what the final bill would be. I also had no idea just how long it would take, so I was a bit anxious for him to finish so that I could get my child from school."

"He did a great job in fixing the action on some of the keys and tuning the piano. He was very pleasant and does a great job. =our 22 year old piano sounds and plays wonderful."

"I contacted
San Diego Piano Tuners Provider Name Locked
because a friend recommended him. Spoke with him directly, and he agreed to tune a piano at a friend's house in San

. That was in June. After several other attempts to contact him in
San Diego Piano Tuners Provider Name Locked
and August with no reply tells me
San Diego Piano Tuners Provider Name Locked
is not interested.
In the meantime, two young students have been playing on an untuned piano.
San Diego Piano Tuners Provider Name Locked
might be a great tuner, as my friend says below, but his failure to return calls is inexcusable. There are too many other great tuners in San
San Diego Piano Tuners Provider Name Locked
to put up with this.
San Diego Piano Tuners Provider Name Locked
gets an "F". There is a remote possibility there's a reason for not getting back to me, but based on my friend's corroboration, I doubt it.
Here's a conversation with my friend who recommended him.
Me: Say, your tuner guy,

, (a440pro@

.net, 858-583-3333) I spoke to him, he agreed to tune my piano at a friends in San
San Diego Piano Tuners Provider Name Locked
, but never did. He's not responding to his emails. That's too bad because he said he'd do it on June 24th and its now September. So I think I'll have to abandon him. Just letting you know!
Referrer's response: That is his big fault. He won't even work on an instrument that he don't like. I refer him to people and he doesn't call them back. Sorry... He really is the best if you can connect with him

"Spoke with
San Diego Piano Tuners Provider Name Locked
directly on 6/24 to have a piano of mine tuned at a friend's home. Gave him details in an email on that date. Followed up a month later if he had tuned the piano, no response.
San Diego Piano Tuners Provider Name Locked
has not replied to my emails and he has not tuned the piano. I would rate his service an F because he never did the work. Perhaps he is a good tuner, but I would not know.

"She arrived at about the time she said she would, and spent a solid 2.5 hours working on the piano. She cleaned the soundboard, vacuumed and dusted. And then set about using her equipment to tune the notes. After she left, I noticed a faint vibrating sound when I played a few of the keys. So I called her and she returned the following day and spent over an hour using a combination of special tools to fix the problem. She was patient and thorough and professional. She went beyond the call of duty, bringing a special device to lift the piano and straighten out the wheels because the movers hadn't done so. Plus she was able to give her insight on how much the piano was worth. We'll definitely be using her services again.

arrived on time and set up his supplies. He cleaned the intstrument on the inside (it was dusty) and completed a thorough tuning. He also gave me his thoughts on a piano I was trying to sell, as to how much it was worth. He was knowledgeable and easy to work with. Everything he did was very professional. I would definitely use him again.

"
San Diego Piano Tuners Provider Name Locked
has been taking care of my Steinway Model A grand piano since I purchased it, about 6 years ago. He tunes the piano about twice a year and performs any voicing or regulating the piano needs, as well. Often, he makes subtle adjustments on a visit, then schedules a follow up visit to make additional adjustments. He charges the same fee, ($135) whether he makes multiple trips or one single trip for tuning and adjustments within a 6 month period. He is extremely competent and is well-regarded by other piano technicians throughout the United States. In fact, he was first recommended to me by a knowledgeable piano expert in New

maintain my piano in the future.
