"Very bad experience. Doogie doors were supposed to be in installed in 3 days and after several phone calls they installed them in 3 WEEKS. Trainers were late arriving" and didn't seems to be that component. Our dog didn't like one trainer, and he likes everyone. That session was a bust. .Dog collar - has no blinking light to tell if it working. Was told newer models have this feature. We saw a red lite once and called office they said our "automatic" battery replacement was shipped from Knoxville. TN. it never arrived. Office sent us a new battery. Can't tell if it is working or not. Vendor excuse for this bad performance was "they were busy".

"We selected Dog Watch after researching other providers and getting one other quote. Dog Watch was just a little less money, but cost was not the deciding factor." We felt the Dog Watch product had features that made it the best selection. These included much longer battery life, the ability for the owner to adjust the correction level and a "tattle tale" feature that lets you know if your dog as tested the boundary. The installer was on time and installed the buried wire being careful of our in ground sprinkler system. He did a fine job. The trainer,
, was fantastic. She has been doing this for many years and really knows how to interact with dogs, and their owners. The best part is the results. The fence has been installed for over a month now and our Golden Retriever LOVES it. He really enjoys the freedom and we enjoy the convenience and security. Highly recommend Dog Watch of
.

Animal Fencing

Part of keeping your pet safe is making sure it doesn't accidentally run out of your yard into the street, or run through the neighbor's garden when they see a new friend. There are several effective types of animal fencing available which can make sure your furry companion doesn't put themselves at risk.

Hidden fencing costs less than traditional fencing, but some dog owners question the level of pain it inflicts.

Animal Fencing

Hidden fences work in most cases, but they can be overcome by even a trained animal whose desire to cross the border is stronger than its fear of the small electric charge that will alert it to stop.

I called first to get some information about the product and the cost. I was surprised to find out that the cost was mainly in how many animals were to be enclosed by the fence, not the linear foot. I have a small-medium size dog weighing in around 15 lbs. and 2 others less than 5 lbs.or right at 5lbs.
The main reason was to keep Inky my agility dog in the back yard and not visiting the neighbors who put food out to feed crows or taking trips on the golf course to visit the golfers. Inky is young just turned 2 years old in June.
First
San Diego Dog Fence Installers Provider Name Locked
came out to see the property and to meet Inky and the other two tiny tots. We spend over an hour talking about the product which she had in a suitcase/briefcase for use to see how it works. We could even test out the shock that is sent to the dog when the dog crosses into the forbidden area. Then

and I took a walk around the back yard.
In one week 2 guys came out I was surprised they were going to work in 95 degree heat, but they did. We set up 2 zones. They put white flags around the zone area so that Inky will learn that this is where the line is. Inky can go in the back and if I want her in the front with me while watering the Hydrangeas not a problem she can go their also fully protected by the Fence. The 2 guys taught me how to work Inkys collar which I forgot after they left. But while they were there they taught me to keep her on a leash, all she would hear on the collar was a "

" to start with. This
San Diego Dog Fence Installers Provider Name Locked
was to teach her to she was entering the forbidden zone. We all walked around the yard, and we all heard the

when Inky got to close.
A week later I though I had set the collar up where she would get a minor correction and there she went out of the backyard. So I went to turn it up again, and there she went again. I called
San Diego Dog Fence Installers Provider Name Locked
, and told her I have messed up can you come out and help me. She was their within 24 hours. As nice and polite as always. She showed me how to work the collar again, This time I got it. So it went up to a level 3, and there went Inky to visit the neighbors food that she puts out. This time I put the collar up again to level 4.
A 4 is Inkys level she gets near it but doesn't go over. Inky is stilling being tested with this. Unfortunately we have a neighbor who puts food out to feed of all things CROWs. Who knows what else she feeds along with the crows, chipmunks, possums but it is not Inky.

We had our driveway repaved which interfered with the perimeter of our electronic fence. The service technician (who was very friendly and helpful) repaired the connection which ran under our driveway and made sure everything was working properly.

I see that this provider only receives As, so I guess I am going to be the exception.
We had an
San Diego Dog Fence Installers Provider Name Locked
at our home. We got a new dog, and had to get the lines repaired (after landscaping) and dog training. We had an old system. On the second visit, the trainer came out and recommended that we get the new, lighter, micro collar. I asked how much. He told me $500. I went and got my wife, she asked how much, and the trainer said $500. We said no thanks. A few days later another trainer came out, and also recommended that we upgrade. I asked how much, and she said between $200 and $250. I asked her to double check, she called the main office, and told me it was $199 plus tax. I said sure. I just now called corporate headquarters to query about the price discrepancy. Their agent told me that it was $500 if I upgraded the entire system, collar, panel, and so on. But $199 if I just upgraded the collar The agent suggested that I probably did not understand what the trainer was telling me. I know what I heard. And I know that the trainer did not tell me that there was a lower cost option. So, let this be a notice to all those who wonder about upgrading.
Also, we had our first
San Diego Dog Fence Installers Provider Name Locked
when we lived in Minnesota. The training involved three visits, with the trainer spending a fair bit of quality time with the dog (about 30-60 minutes each time). From this service provider, the "training" essentially represented the trainer showing me what I needed to do, which took about 5 minutes. The third visit we got a really professional trainer, who clearly knew her stuff and cared about the training, and spent time with the dog. More what I expected.

He does excellent work. Workmanship is fantastic. It has held up beautifully, gave helpful information about what products to use on gate to keep it from rusting. He visualizes the work and analyzed the budget very well. Very cost effective.
