is absolutely wonderful. She explained everything that was going to happen. She came back and help train us and our dog on how to use the" fence and then came back with her dog to test our dog to see if she would be distracted. She is professional and great to work with.

"It took several hours to bury the line. The installer was friendly, and he cut my cable line.
came out a few hours later, and like the other" reviews this guy is super-powered. He trained our golden retriever with great enthusiasm and compassion, we participated. He answered every question, he also made sure we were totally satisfied. He did a temporary fix on the cable line, then Time
came out a week later to fix it. Like most businesses on Angie's List, even if mistakes are made, the contractors stand behind their work and reputations. I thought I got a great value overall.

Animal Fencing

Part of keeping your pet safe is making sure it doesn't accidentally run out of your yard into the street, or run through the neighbor's garden when they see a new friend. There are several effective types of animal fencing available which can make sure your furry companion doesn't put themselves at risk.

Hidden fencing costs less than traditional fencing, but some dog owners question the level of pain it inflicts.

Dog Fencing reviews in San Diego

Excellent! From the beginning,
San Diego Dog Fence Installers Provider Name Locked
came to our home and
spent time addressing my concerns and outlining the best plan for the
fence. He was always very honest and
professional. The installer worked
tirelessly all day for 7-8 hours, without leaving, to install our fence. He did
accidentally cut into an existing underground electric line and immediately
informed us of the incident and called in more experienced staff to assist in
quickly remediating the situation. My husband and I were hesitant to believe that
this system would contain our dogs, who are outside dogs used to roaming the
fields for years. Unbelievably, the
fence has successfully contained our dogs for almost a year now, including the
overnight hours, even through deer and other animal sightings!

, who
provided the trainings and a lot of support, gave me his cell phone number so
he would be available when I needed him for any questions I had after he

also was only a quick phone
call away. One of them was always
available within hours to come out to assist us. Our system was installed in October, 2014 and
after watching our new mulch be destroyed by the dogs in early summer, I called
San Diego Dog Fence Installers Provider Name Locked
back in June 2015, and asked him to keep the dogs off the mulch beds. He ended up re-routing our fence to meet our
requests, and only charged us for his materials. He even changed his installer’s schedule so
he could quickly fit our job in around my schedule! I have nothing but praise for

Pittsburgh offered a pleasant & hassle-free customer experience. They began by providing a quick and thorough estimate and were willing and able to answer any questions. Installation was scheduled and a trained technician showed up at the door on time. At first, the lines in our yard where the wire had been installed were visibile but faded over a short time. The main box that delivers a signal needs to be installed on an exterior wall, preferably in a basement or garage; ours is mounted in the garage. They are even able to cut across driveways and patch over top of the wire with a silicon-based formula. From there, you have the option to schedule training within a few days or wait a few months. In our case, we had the fence installed in November but waited until the Spring season to train when our puppy was 6 months old.

, the owner, came out to our house to conduct the training, which only took about an hour. He provided flags to

the perimeter and instructed us to remove the flags a few at a time over the course of 2 weeks. I was amazed to see that it did not take nearly that long for our dog to recognize the boundary though, as by Day 2, she would go within 10 feet of the flags and continues to maintain that discipline. At one point, she chewed the collar one night while it was off and sitting on the counter. The receiver was fine, but the collar had been ruined. Dogwatch replaced the collar for free with no questions asked. I would absolutely recommend

of Dogwatch was responsive to my initial inquiry about a pet containment system, however it took several follow up calls and weeks went by before installation took place. Some of the delay was weather related, however his lack of follow up delayed the process longer than I had hoped.
One of the main reasons I chose Dogwatch over the other providers was the overall price and warranty provided on the products (lifetime warranty on all equipment such as collars and transmitter). I was also told that unlike the competition (Invisible Fence), they do not charge service fees when issues arise and a technician needs to visit the home. I was also sold on the extensive training provided after installation.
Long story short, the training was 15 minutes after installation and I burned through 3 A/C adapters on the wall transmitter in 6 weeks. I was told that it was my fault for having the adapter plugged into the wall outlet instead of a surge protector. After purchasing a surge protector I went 3 whole weeks without an issue, however the next time a thunderstorm took place the entire wall transmitter was short circuited. It took 8-10 days before they could send someone to fix the problem and I was told by

that "it will be taken care of without any issue, it's all under warranty". When they finally came out to fix the problem and replaced the transmitter, the technician wouldn't leave the house without me paying a $50 service charge (for plugging a new system into the wall).
The equipment is sub-par, the service is poor, and they failed to honor their word that was delivered during the sales presentations. I would not recommend to anyone else. Many neighbors have approached me about Dogwatch and I tell all of them to avoid at all costs.
- Adam S.

Very satisfied. They clearly explained our options and offered to incorporate our existing equipment if we so desired. We elected to install a new system and feel it is superior to what we had before. Very responsive to an equipment malfunction we were having with the collar.

I called & told them the fence did not work. They did not believe me & sent someone to do training instead. This guy came and discovered that the fence did not work. They did not believe me and sent someone out for "training." This person concluded that the fence did not work. They then wanted to charge me about $90 for the first half hour & additional fees to fix it. I refused. They claimed the gardener caused the problem. They then blamed the fence guy. They finally googled my house and concluded that the fence guy removed my neighbor's fence, Then they wanted to come out & see where the break was. I asked for a refund when they first brought up additional charges. I told them to come get their equipment. They have refused to do any of this. So, I have paid $2000 for an

that is dead.

My first phone conversation with the company was excellent, very professional and friendly. They told me a representative would be out to give me an estimate within a certain time frame the next day. I waited for the rep to show up, and no one did. I called the company again, and they told me the rep would leave my estimate in my mailbox. I left to run an errand, came back three hours later and there was no estimate. The next day, I physically went to the company's site on Rip Rap Rd. and was again treated with professionalism and kindness. The lady at the counter had no paperwork in my file. She called the rep who was supposed to go to my site and they stated they did the estimate and put it in my mailbox, but didn't keep a copy. She ensured me they would be out again the next day. No one ever came. I called again the next day. They ensured me again someone would be coming out that day. No one ever came. Eventually, I gave up and went with a separate company. Good luck to whosoever contacts this company. Wish I hadn't wasted my time.
- Ashley J.

They were wonderful. Fixed the problem. Treated me fair. Repaired my fence that wasn't my fault. Very professional. Seemed concerned of the safety of the animals.
- Janette H.

We looked at two company's and chose him. He was very prompt ,knows the product and just a complete pleasure to do business with. He did things above what he was required to do. It was nice to see some people still believe in doing a quality job for the customer.
