When we moved to San
our house had Saltillo tile and
Steemer ensured us they could clean them along with our carpets. Note to self- only use experts to clean saltillo tile. SS caused damage and didn't know how to reseal the tile. In 2013 we were recommended another company, but I realized that again, their experience was in general tile cleaning. I searched Angie;'s list and found
. This is a very, very small family business. They came and gave an estimate and showed me before and after pictures of other homes. I also learned there are only a handful of experts in this tile maintainence here and in Arziona.
On the day of the cleaning, the owner and his associate arrived promplty. They were incrediby careful with our furniture and newly painted walls. Within two days we could use the entire house again.
While I thought it was expensive, I now realize that you can pay half the price for a general tile cleaner, but then the tiles are either damaged or a second professional treatment is needed.

It went excellently, as always. They removed the wooden mantle, the brick on the floor, and the wall brick. Then then encompassed the fireplace area on the wall with new stone tile. And they replaced the
area on the floor with floor tile that we had left over from the previous floor tile project.
This is the 3rd job we've done with
. They are masters of the art, no doubt. Previous projects for us with
were
1) the upstairs guest bathroom (a complete demolition, and replacement of tub, floor and wall tile, and sink/cabinet)
2) 1100 sq. ft. of floor tile - the entire downstairs of our home.
If you've read this far, keep reading. With the fireplace/family room, I mentioned to the
team that we had to be careful of my speaker wires that ran under the floor tile.
remembered that detail from the previous floor tile job, and worked carefully around the wire. Amazing job.

I got four bids.
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
was neither the highest nor the lowest. However, I decided to hire him because 1) he used to do tile work for a large home builder and it turns out I knew his boss who verified that his work was good; 2) he said he could do the work in three days starting on a Friday and 3) he uses grout that does not stain, but is harder to work with. I showed him the tiles that I wanted to use and he purchased them for me. He showed me a grout chart and he said he had to special order the grout because it was a color that was not widely used. The grout is a new grout called "Fusion" and some of the other persons who gave me bids were not familiar with it. I have been told that this grout is fabulous because no matter what you spill on it, it does not stain. It is expensive, but since this is a rental property, I wanted this grout.

was very responsive by email or phone. He showed up on the appointed day with his brother and
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
and the three of them worked all day the first day removing carpet in the master bath and laying hardyback as a base; and removing old tile in the other bath. The next day they cut and laid the tile in a diamond shape as I had requested. The tiles were 18 X 18 and I was hesitant to use them in the smaller bath, but
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
assured me that they would look great. They did! The next morning, which was a Sunday, they came back for about two hours to
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
the grout. The job was done right. He laid the tile up next to the baseboards so I didn't have to demolish the baseboards and
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
new ones. There are some areas where the bottom of the baseboards are slightly torn from the demolition, but
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
did the best he could. I was not willing to remove the baseboards and install new ones. Overall, the job was well done. I would hire him again and would recommend him to others.

was extremely responsible, easy to work with, and proud of his work. If there was a spot I needed further work on, he could tell me whether it would come out well or not, and was happy to do it. Would definitely use again and plan on having him return to do high traffic areas every 2 years. The floor looks so much better, it is hard to describe. Very happy with the service and cost.

I had no idea how to care for marble floors when I bought the house, and ultimately destroyed it with heavy chemical cleaning. I did not think that it could ever be restored, or at least not without substantial cost.
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
came to do an estimate and told me that it was really not bad at all! When he gave me the estimate, I immediately told him I wanted to have the work done.
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
was able to schedule me within the week, working around my schedule. He showed up on time with his employee and they worked quickly and efficiently. He was a delight to have in my home and my floor looks spectacular. I only wish I had done it years ago. I have two dogs so I have asked to be set up on a recall list every year for touch up. I highly recommend that if you have marble floors you give
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
a call. You will not be disappointed!

"services". The granite was initially "installed" on 12/03/2010...but they had to return 12/09/2010 and 12/17/2010 to do the job as contracted (no chips...cut to contract specs..etc...) They measured and installed granite wrong & large 2 inch chip on front
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
of the granite near the sink that they filled with grey grout. Numerous calls to get them to do the job right!
I called
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
regarding my cracked granite..
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
stated "Well I can come out super glue it & polished it up for you, but it's going to cost you lady"....then added I had a “1 year labor warranty”. No where in contract is any mention of any warranty..(except on sealant), nor was anything signed or initialed by me to this effect. A year later,
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
sent me a copy of the 1 year warranty, and told me "it was supposed to be included in your contract, we screwed up" Most important.. after having multiple problems I had several stone restoration experts and granite fabricators over to inspect/evaluate my granite. Those evals revealed even more disturbing problems. Quote "You paid for a custom job, but got what looks like a China prefab job"
Very Important!
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
did not have the licensed classification to even install granite in
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
2010! They only had a D12 classification on their contractor's license...that is vinyl, fiberglass, epoxy & plastic tile only. Since installing my granite,
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
changed their name, got a new license, and I can't file a complaint with the BBB or with the CSLB because the license they had at the time states "no longer in business".
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
has changed their business license 3 times since in business, slightly change their Company name to avoid negative reports on the CSLB and BBB.
AND...to add to this....
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
NEVER REGISTERED my granite for the 15 year sealant warranty, which they charged me $75 for! Now, Ariz Tile tells me I do NOT have ANY warranty!
There were several seams that were not on the CONTRACT from their field measurement, Told by Virginia Jaggi "seams are at our discretion" Gray grout used on all the seams on "Volga Blue" (black) granite!. ...AND... installed the granite onto a kitchen cabinet that was not centered by the cabinet maker...
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
Enterprises installed anyway, despite now my granite back splash did not meet the counter top by 3 inches. Told me later they knew it the day they measured and upon installation. I had to have
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
remove that granite...make Generation Contracting redo the cabinet, and compromised with
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
on the re-installation because now the electrical cutout didn't match up with the back splash.
ALSO...measured granite wrong above the oven and wanted me to agree to mount a wood board onto to the granite in order to install the microwave! It took several calls to get them back to cut the granite to the contracted measurements!
Less than 13 months from "installation" and the granite cracked from the inside of my dbl sink to the bullnose

oe the owner came with help, but also performed the work himself too. Alsways came on time, per agreement. When it rained, he called in evening and in am to coordinate a re-schedule.
Very curteous, prompt and professional.
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
attended to details himself and after a walk through upon completion, jumped on a couple small areas that needed a little more attention. No charge.
I plan to have
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
come our again in a couple years and recommend him to anyone looking for good value in this service: good quality at a good price, professionally executed :)

Our master bath shower has a limestone wall in it. Unfortunately Lime-Away got used on the wall and created ugly spots and streaks on the wall. We contacted our tile installer who said he had complete faith that the guys from
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
would be able to help us. The guys from
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
were able to
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
,
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
, re-polish and seal the limestone tile on the wall so it looked brand new.

They also provided some great advice on how to best care for the limestone wall.

It's hardly a negative but the only down-side was that we had to wait 2 weeks from the time we scheduled the appointment until they had time to do the job but that probably means they're popular because of the good work they do.

and their assistant did an outstanding job cleaning and sealing our travertine floors. They were skilled, careful and thorough in all aspects of the job. In addition, they explained every step of the process. They patiently outlined the effects of each cleaning or sealing product they were using and how they intended to clean both large stone areas and small grout lines. Both
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
and
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
possessed a good understanding of properties of the stone and of the products they were applying.
They began by sealing off all adjacent surfaces to protect them from possible water damage. (They would have moved all our furniture off the floors, but we decided to clear the furniture away ourselves so they could begin the cleaning process as soon as they arrived.) They worked in small sections, going over each section thoroughly before advancing to the next. They began by using light brushes and cleaner, then progressed gradually to more substantial brushes and cleaners in areas that needed deeper cleaning (such as near the
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
). They alternated between using long handled mops and polishers and using tiny brushes and rags on grout lines. They filled any holes with new grout, then dried and sealed the fill areas. They offered to replace all our furniture, once they had finished the floors.
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
was completely professional from the first day, when he gave us his proposal for the work, to the end of the project. The crew arrived exactly on time on the job-day and finished within the time period he estimated. He and
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
were pleasant and considerate about allowing us to walk on dry sections of the kitchen throughout the day. They gave us ample warning before applying sealant and provided their own fans for ventilation. They invited us to make a thorough inspection once they were done, and they urged us to call them right away, should we find any problems with the stone or grout in the days following. The price was reasonable--quite a bit less than the price we paid a few years ago for the same company to clean these floors and to fill all the holes in what was then our "un-filled" travertine. We were pleased with this previous job; however, we found that
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
,
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
and their assistant actually cleaned a few areas even better than the original crew did. Kudos to this crew, and to the company which, even in this tough economy, is offering top of the line service for reasonable prices. We will definitely use their services again.

We were shopping for a great price on
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
Granite countertops, went to several places. Received man yprice quotes. Then we went to Pre Fab Granite Depot and asked if they would match our lowest price quote, that included a free sink, and a 15'' round granite *lazy
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
* round polished cutout. They were happy to match our Lowest price quote!
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
was our job forman and he was wonderful, and so was the entire crew!
The only problem on this job was the backsplashes, they came pre-cut, & pre -made. They did not match the granite at all. As soon as
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
noticed this, he brought it to our attention, then called the office.
San Diego Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
at the office was right on it; She said No problem, we"ll fix everything, and they did!
They had only laid down the wood underlay so far, so he packed up all the granite, (so we could easily match) and we all went back to the store. We were then told to pick out 4 more slabs of matching granite. They would then go back to our home with them and hand cut our back splashes from those slabs, which they did. It did not cost us anything extra to do this, but it was time consuming because the back splashes now became custom.
We had one seam in the kitchen but just try to find it, it is all but invisible! The under mount kitchen sink cutout is flawless. The cut in the granite for the kitchen faucet is beautifully done also.
We are very happy with the results of the service and workmanship we received on this job and would recommend this company very highly as a result of this job.
The 2 bathrooms are just as perfect, we are so happy! Great Job!
