I needed to replace an alarm cable from a window to under the house. I knew it was a pretty small job, but
Hunt was very pleasant over the phone and said he would be happy to do it. He indicated that they install a lot of closed circuit surveillance systems, entertainment cables, etc., and that they were experienced in doing the type of work I needed. He estimated that it would take about one hour and cost $100. He showed up a few minutes early, neatly taped plastic to catch drilled material, had his son crawl under the house to fish the cable through the newly drilled hole. The job was completed within the hour, and I was charged $100 as agreed to. He did the billing electronically at the job site, and I was able to receive an email with the invoice. This company seemed honest, professional, they knew their trade, and I would definitely use them again.

They got the kitchen done the first day, the bathrooms the second. Came in in stocking feet until they had covered all surfaces with plastic. Worked without taking a break both days until the jobs were done, cleaned up after themselves. Were very polite and courteous.

This was the second time
San Diego Lighting Companies Provider Name Locked
has done work for me. Previously, he installed a ceiling fan and repaired some outdoor lighting. He came back a couple of days later and called a week or so later to make sure I was satisfied and that everything was working well.
This time he came to ground my dishwasher.
San Diego Lighting Companies Provider Name Locked
installed the dishwasher four years ago and on occasion it just stops working. The last time they came out to repair it, they told me they wouldn't work on it until it was grounded properly. Fast forward six months and the dishwasher stopped working again. I called
San Diego Lighting Companies Provider Name Locked
and he came right out. He first checked the breaker box to see if the problem was there. It wasn't, but he did notice that it was over wired and under breakered on two breakers, which he fixed very quickly by installing the right sized breakers. He then checked the junction box under the kitchen sink and confirmed it was grounded there, but he discovered that the dishwasher had never been grounded when

installed it.

grounded it quickly and efficiently.

They provided a generator while the power was off so I could plug in my refrigerator. They were extremely proficient and did the job in one day. The power was off for less than 8 hours. Incrediblly skilled workers. They showed up 10 minutes before they were scheduled, prepared the area for the power company and cleaned up everything outside. They even repaired the stucco. I got other bids for the same work that came in well over $2000.

, the contractor even paid for all the necessary permit fees and worked with the power company to schedule everything.
I highly recommend this company--very professional, clean, knowledgeable and respectful of our property.

&
San Diego Lighting Companies Provider Name Locked
were super good! We got their Angie's List deal, eight hours electrical work for $400. Explained what we needed on the phone, and then made some choices when
San Diego Lighting Companies Provider Name Locked
came on site. Work was done in just over eight hours (good guess on our part), and turned out perfect. Elected to have the interior switches just installed next to the outlets that the lights were switched to, so no extra drywall / paint repair needed. Two automatic lights in front of the garage, one on our walkway, and one motion light in the backyard. Everything turned out perfect!

It went awful.

San Diego Lighting Companies Provider Name Locked
grossly underbid our project and provided us a cost plus contract with no "not to exceed" amount listed - this is illegal under state contractor law. He also required a 5000.00 deposit (he called it a material advance). Either way that is also illegal. We filed a complaint and he was warned by The California State Contractors Board. They are waiting for another complaint before they do more. We are filing a law suit but our main goal is to warn others about this business. If you still want to do business with this company make sure all supplies and work are described in minute detail. We ended up paying 3 times the bid for a large home remodel - and got very tired of hearing the phrase "that was not included" even though it was in the plans and bid instructions - examples include an integrated deck - the footings were included but then when it came to the deck framing and waterproofing they were not? The interior paint was included - except all the new windows (but that exception wasn't called out in the contract). Even items we picked out in advance like the windows ended up billed at 2-times the bid price. Our job was poorly supervised, he used unlicensed subs for the plumbing and didn't provide change orders to list just a few of the infractions. Worst.experience.ever. We realized the issue when we had no roof and months to go on our project. This was our first remodel project and feel we got scammed. I wishe we had done more homework on state contracting laws. don't let the same happen to you.

Dwelling called me and said they were running a little late, approx. 30 minutes. No problem, I was off all day and they were driving all the way from the Temecula area. These guys were friendly, professional and accommodating. As I said above, regarding "What did the provider do?" I opted to save money by purchasing my own parts. They gave me a list of what was needed and off to Home depot I went.
While I was gone they were constantly working, further prepping the areas where the lights were to be installed and making additional assessments of my electrical needs. As an addendum, I purchased Dwelling Electrics BIG DEAL which provided 2 electricians, four hours of work (any kind of electrical work) for approximately $400.00. If you need Electricians, these 2 guys are the real deal!
