Remodeling Reviews in San Diego

Now I have a new home just the way I wanted. They worked with me even through a hospital stay. They respected my house and dogs. They let me pick all the materials used which were all upgrades. The job took longer tan I would have liked-remodeling is not fun --but everything turned out so beautiful I would do it all over again. Thanks

Went wonderfully!!! Fantastic crew and very easy to work with. Extremely neat and punctual!! Very professional. Done in a week. We appreciated the way he quickly resolved a small issue that came up.
kept us informed of every step and what was planned daily.
gave lots of tips and ideas for our project. He is coming back in August to do a complete master bedroom shower remodel with tile flooring and toilet. Highly recommend.

He was always on time and accomplished what he thought he could in a day. His work through this project was professional and exact. There was no major mess to be concerned about because he kept it all under control. The work began on June 16th and was finished on June 23rd. I am extremely pleased with the finished product and will not hesitate to use his services again, or to recommend

was very responsive, and met me at the houses on 2 separate weekends. We did not purchase either of the houses, but if we had, I would have been interested in using his services.

Working with

was a pleasure. He always did what he said he was going to do. He was very precise and creative with his design suggestions, He was on time, neat and a perfectionist at his trade. Cleaned up everything and kept the work area neat.
I was more than pleased with the outcome. The shower is unique and beautiful!

Yovanny was able to come out the same afternoon that we called him. He made the suggestion to replace the mirror that was on the closet door rather than fix it. We had a high quality mirror installed the next day.
He was very pleasant to work with and without a doubt will use him again in the future.

The salesperson was very professional and willing to work with us. They offered discounts due to the time of year (holidays) that we were willing to have the work done - not many people want renovations done on their home during the holiday season. They also offer a 5% military discount which is great. During the process an old window was broken but promptly cleaned up, nothing in our home was damaged, and the workers were friendly. Our two sliding doors are abnormally large and one of them is on the second story, but they had no problem making it work. There was a disagreement about whether or not paperwork had been submitted to the staff, but they were willing to work with us on a solution. Additional stucco work had to be completed which was not in the original estimate. The windows are Anlin

and we love them! It is soooo much quieter in our home which is important because we live next to a very busy street. Overall, this was a great experience.

I had seen a Big Deal for $1,499 for a Ceramic Tile Shower Replacement, Including Labor and Materials. We knew our job would be in excess of what the $1499 covered, but even with the so-called Big Deal worked into the price, the bid came to ~$9885.
The $1499 Big Deal is supposed to cover "Removing current tile and wallboard. Includes demolition and installation labor, as well as materials ($350 allowance for 110 square feet of ceramic tile). Choice of five tile styles. Installing shower

, drain, backer boards, mortar bed, tile, and grout."
The person who came out to bid said the Big Deal would cover labor only, and NO materials. We expected certain aspects of the labor would be beyond the scope of the deal, but the materials that were supposed to be covered as part of the Big Deal ended up being a

. The labor for our job came to $4885, and materials were anticipated to be another $5000.
The person who came out to bid kept winking at us, like he was offering us such a good deal. Later, after he asked for the downpayment, and we said "No, we have other people coming out to bid" we couldn't get rid of him. My husband and I were at the front door trying to get him the hint to leave, and he was still yapping away in our kitchen.
This whole experience turned out to be a colossal waste of our precious time.

The A Team gave us a detailed contract for all work, as well as a schedule for completion. The work started exactly on time, and finished as promised. The work was superb. The new shower in the master bath had a built in bench and built in niches for soap, shampoo, etc.

and his crew arrived on time every morning and worked straight through each day. They always cleaned up at the end of each day, and kept tile dust and similar dirt to a minimum. The entire job took almost two months. There was a little delay with the guest bathroom because the mirror subcontractor damaged the first mirror, but

kept on top of things and had a replacement mirror expedited.
We couldn't be happier with the A Team. I most highly recommend them for any remodeling work. Their web page shows the beauty and quality of their work.

The bad first, slow to get going and initial communication leaves a lot to be desired. We hung in there because they came recommended. Once it got going and we had another point man on the job(

was AWESOME) communication was a lot better. Work done was great. All subcontractors were great. Everyone on site was super nice and courteous. They followed up for months after job as little things popped up(mainly additions we wanted or simply questions we had. Nothing negative). We are attempting to use their services again... If only they would get back to us... :)
