provided two different floor plans for us, and was very flexible, as far as working the option of piano into the room. She responded to several follow-up questions I had, and provided suggestions for where to locate resources.

was very easy to work with, and very accommodating. However, I found the process of working with a "virtual designer" to be a bit challenging for me. That was definitely no fault of

's, thought. I would use her again, particularly if I needed help with planning a room layout.

We worked with
San Diego Interior Designers Provider Name Locked
, and she was great. She listened to our plans and ideas, looked at our samples, pulled out her color wheels and went to town with us. She had some good ideas on accent colors, and a couple great suggestions for our fireplace surround and mantle. She identified a very specific problem we had with the color matching on one of our elements--we just knew something wasn't right, but didn't know which element was the odd part of the match. She picked out the problem as if it were a sore thumb.
We had bought an Angie's List special for this meeting, and are very happy with the result, and pleased with
San Diego Interior Designers Provider Name Locked
's sense of style and professionalism.

We had lived in this home for 12 years, but with the previous owners choices on cabinets and wall color. In May 2013 we reached out to
San Diego Interior Designers Provider Name Locked
Shoe String( SOAS) based on Angie's reviews. Intially we were very impressed with the designer that was assigned to our home renovation. She clearly had design experience and understood the impact of color in different rooms based on the natural lighting.
After severarl consultaions with the designer, we had chosen carpets, rugs, light fixtures, paint colors, fixtures for the bathrooms etc. Initially the process went well as the designer brought us pictues of light fixtures, fitments etc that we selected our choices from.
At this point we realized (were informed) that we were competing with a doctor's office that had to be completely remodelled within a long weekend, so the timing for our remodel was on the back burner until such time the doctor's office was completed. This is the time we definitely realized were second in the line of response with regards to installlment, contractors etc. This was apparent several times during the entire procss.
Th designer failed in the areas or recording measurements, orders and specifics for a new fireplace. For all of these (meaurements of rugs, curtains, undermats, the fire mantel) we had to go thorugh a second round of order and returns. For the lighting fixtures, tehy were supposed to be ordered and delivered to the home owner, but never ordered at the time we discussed they should have been delivered. On several occassions the designer would call me for a reminder of the measurements, choices etc as she knew I was a diligent note taker. On some occasions I was informed that fixtures were supposed to be delivered to my home, but on further investigation they were never ordered on time so then they were on "back order"
The biggest disappointments in the whole remodel with SOAS was the fact that as a smaller client we felt that the attention warrented wasn't given. The final straw was when we were out of the US (abroad)and had been assured on multiple occasions that we didn't need to empty the kitchen cabinets for resurfacing of the cabinet doors, unfortunatley that this was in fact not the case. While we were 6000 miles away for a family celebration we received a telephone call from SOAS asking if my visiting family members staying in our home (for 2 weeks) from

could empty all the kitchen cabinets (approximately 44 cabinets and drawers in the kitchen). I found this request completey insulting to my family and for the fact the remodel started in June and this was August and we had never been informed of this possibility. Had we been informed appropriately, we would have packed the entire kitchen prior to our departure. To add insult, our house sitter stayed for 2 weeks in a completely nonfunctional kitchen and when we returned, I had to take two vacation days off work to put all the kitchen back together. Overall, while the ease of choosing carpets, light fixtures, curtains etc is facilated by SOAS, I wouldn't recommend them based on my personal experience as being a "smaller client" the attention to detail wasn't provided and we had multiple duplicate returns (due to measurments taken of rugs and curtains), a mis-sized fire mantel so we had to order two, and a fireplace design that was ordered without our imput. With the biggest insult of the entire process having visiting family having to eat out for two weeks at their expense because we were informed only the cabinet faces would be removed and the kitchen would be functional.

San Diego Interior Designers Provider Name Locked
was excellent help in reviewing my plans and making suggestions for remodeling the interior of my mobile home. She listened and really understood what i was trying to accomplish for the kitchen and dining area and the arrangement of the furniture. She told me her ideas, all of which were valid, and gave me some useful tips as well, in an unhurried manner.

I was most interested in replacing my cupboards and counter tops and then to update my family room that flows from the kitchen. She was most responsive on the decorating side. I felt the samples and recommendations for the cupboards and counter tops was quite limited and have chosen to go with a professional cabinet maker. I may call her back when ready to decorate.

I was skeptical hiring someone to design my home thinking my place would look a little too girly and I thought I would be able to figure it out...(the whole house would be leather and black walls)
I was very impressed with what PCI brought to the table. Adding an accent color wall has completely changed the way I feel when I walk into the room now. So

but worked. The gentleman who came to do the work didnt need any instruction, he already knew the

of the land and we were done in a few hours.
I recently went back and purchased some really cool lamps and a coffee table. I couldnt be happier with the find on angieslist.

Christian was very direct and some of his comments were entertaining. He provided us with several contacts of reliable contractors to get some of the work started and had some great ideas on what to do with the space we had. He also gave us some good recommendations on colors and furnishings. His ideas will really help modernize our 40 yr old house.

I was looking for an interior designer to help me with my condo in San

on a day I would be in San

arrived at the condo and we discussed my needs and thoughts, and she was going to put together a plan for furniture, rugs, art work, etc. I never heard from her again. I contacted her many times and never got a response. I contacted the company and got a response that she would be in touch with me soon and I could go on line and find artwork (ok, that's what I was hiring them for). I never received any further correspondence or response from them. I am only in San

occasionally and although their lack of response didn't cost me anything financially, it was a waste of my time and effort and now I have to start the process all over again.

We were amazed at how much we covered in the two hours. Christian is a font of ideas, at the same time he listens carefully. He pointed out flaws in our decorating scheme and then showed how we could change them from flaws to features. We covered window dressings, placement of art/photos, paint schemes, furniture choices, and ways to complete our vision. Then we went downstairs to the bedrooms. He confirmed some ideas we already had and then suggested several things we hadn't considered. He surveyed our furnishings and created a vision of how to complete the master suite from colors, to cabinetry, to flooring.
All in all, a very fruitful, very enjoyable, and eye opening two hours. Well worth the $300 it was priced at and an incredible value through Angie's List.
Thanks Christian and

Christian is amazing!!! He far exceeded my expectation of the design consultation for my home. His many years of experience revealed itself in what seemed to be effortless insight to create the space that I desire. He was so enjoyable to work with; the time spent with him was optimally productive but also fun. I took notes of his recommendations, but I was overjoyed when I received a detailed room by room formal report from him including measurements, store recommendations and website links. He gave me the confidence to take on the challenge of renovations that I was hesitant to perform. I no longer feel overwhelmed but instead excited about the endeavor to personalize and modernize my home. Thanks so much Christian!!
