I had a garage that had accumulated all sorts of tools, kitchen items, junk I couldn't fit in the house anymore, and storage of goods for others in the family, etc. In other words, it was a cluttered mess. In addition, nothing was stored logically. Things got put where there was room. The garage was not finished in sheetrock when built in 1972. There were two walls by the heater that were finished, and that was it. So, the first thing I wanted was a finished garage. I had tool benches, but no "storage" other than 3 put-together-by-me plastic affairs They worked for some things, but didn't hold much. I wanted cabinets on either long wall because I was having my 92-year-old mother, who had always been on her own, move in with me after a fall. I would need space for the things that she did not want in storage, and she has a lot of things. I called
after reading reviews on Angie's List. The cost of a lot of cabinets that I found by researching the web were prohibitive for me so I was anxious to see what he would charge and whether I felt he would understand my needs. At any rate, he came over the next day and we had a plan put together almost immediately. He understood my situation completely and listened to any requirements that I specifically wanted. We made an appointment for
to come over and help me get rid of the "junk" I had been holding onto for no discernible reason. That went very quickly. The next day the sheetrock went up and the next two days I had wonderful, spacious, beautiful cabinets installed. Through it all,
was professional, patient and caring, if I can say that about an organizer.
came over again to help me reorganize as things went into the new cabinets. Lastly, for what I wanted, the price was right. Bottom line, I would hire them in a heartbeat. I'm actually thinking of having a couple more cabinets built where two of the plastic ones remain. I thought they'd be fine, and they are useful, but the garage is so gorgeous I kind of hate the aesthetic of the non-matching ones.

I called her on a Sunday to make an appointment. She said she charged $75 for an assessment which includes 2 hours of work. I asked if she could work with me on Monday, the next day. She said she was busy with a Rancho
job all week but would be able to fit two hours in on Monday but that first there needs to be an assessment. Since I was eager to get started on Monday I said okay to the assessment and 2 hours for $75.
She said she could come that day, Sunday, and then we could start work Monday. She was late to my house but called and said she'd be 10 minutes late about 30 minutes before the time so no biggie. She showed up with her sister
who she is training. Both were personable and my husband and I really liked the spiel
was giving us. We could hire her hourly or purchase one of her packages. She had no paperwork but showed us on her tablet some prices and said she would email all the information to us. She wanted to give us a "top to bottom organization package" which she quoted as $4000.
We paid her cash (big first mistake) and I thought of asking for a receipt but got distracted with asking her for references etc. so never got a receipt. My second mistake was not nailing her down for the time on Monday. We parted with her saying she'll mail us all the info about packages and breakdown of hourly for certain rooms (eg. garage, bedrooms with closets, kitchen, etc) that day (give me an hour she says because she has another appt after us) and us saying we will think about the packages when we see the details.
Since then, I have not been able to reach her via phone and she has not responded to my email. We never got the promised email of information from her either.
The ironic thing was that I ended up hiring another organizer for Monday and the job was well done and my husband thought it was them and said to go ahead with the top to bottom package. I had to tell him judging from Angie's list we will not hear from her again but I'll try one more time to reach her and we never did.
Oh, but we did kind of hear from her. She requested to be Linked In with my husband.
no, you need to do some work for us first and respond to email or phone calls! Anyway, at this point, if she reads this, we would like our money back. But if you are not honest enough to do that, use it with our blessing. It's money well spent if we can warn at least one other person off from the poor experience we had.

The bid and plan were completed on the same day and Ed (Big Ed) was very pleasant and gave good advice. The pricing is steep, but Ed was helpful in giving options where you could reduce costs. He also helped me visualize the space by taping the outline/footprint of the desk on the floor of the room. That was helpful in seeing how much space is being used and what space you have leftover for a chair or other use. The install was done a week earlier than estimated which was very nice.
