Once my son and I agreed on which vendor to hire (3 estimates), we set an installation date for about one week later. arrived on time and completed both installations in slightly longer than his estimated time for the work. "I purchased a 50+ year old home As-Is from the original owner to use as a rental property. Although the garage framing was in good shape, it looked like a complete tear down - Gutters rotted through in places, plants and even a tree growing out of them, rotten fascia boards some of which were hanging off the building, animals had eaten huge holes in the back side of the garage in order to nest inside, and there was significant water damage to the siding on the lower half of another side. It was no surprise when the Village required me to fix it within 30 days of closing. However, not wanting to spend $10K to build a new garage for a rental property (even though more than 1 contractor recommended that I tear it down) I hired Brookside to do the best they could.
Holy cow did they do a fantastic job!!! And from Brookside made everything happen in the 30 day time frame I had - and this included the week it took me to get estimates from multiple contractors and sign a contract. also pulled the required permit, juggled his schedule to fit me in ASAP, his workers installed the siding on the 2 hottest days of the year (even after warning me that they may have to stop half way through the day due to the extreme heat,) and made sure I passed the inspection on the first try.
I couldn't be happier and at least 4 neighbors have stopped me to comment on how nice the garage looks. THANKS Brookside!!!"
