"My husband and I switched to Dr. because our health insurance forced us to, dropping our previous medical group. We knew nothing about him but were given his name by the Sharp nurses referral group. We seemed to be his only patients the days we saw him. He has an older receptionist who was quite friendly. Dr. spent a long time on several occasions telling us his philosophy of medicine. He provided some good health care, reminded us of followups we needed to take, and provided several referrals. However, we found him difficult to work with. He argued repeatedly with us, and didn't listen clearly to what we said. I talked about exercise and he got angry about it until I made it clear I was talking about deep tissue massage and active and passive stretching and bending, not weight lifting. When I told him I was having a health practitioner do deep tissue massage, he got angry and said I had to choose whether to let him treat me or this other person. When I tried to talk with him about a dermatologist I have seen for moles and pre-cancerous scalp condition, he misquoted me as demanding a referral to a dermatologist and called in the receptionist as a witness against me. My husband has been slowly deteriorating with memory problems and diagnosing these problems seems to be taking years. I am up for hip replacement surgery. With these things going on, we are grateful for the care he provided, but we decided we did not want to continue with a doctor who picks fights with us when we see him. So we have switched to a different primary care physician."

"She's very thorough, open-minded and helpful. Her demeanor and attitude convey that she tries hard to help and I believe she wants me to be a partner in my own health care experience. Her nursing staff is excellent. I have referred several friends and my partner to her with good feedback.
It is usually an option to get a same day appointment, but I find that appointments can take quite a while. I believe this is because while she spends so much time with me, she also does that with her other patients requiring extra TLC and so I expect the total visit time to be 60-90 minutes. She's very responsive to the MyChart system as well, which I love."

"Terrific is the word that comes to mind. Dr. is concerned with my health and takes a lot of time each time I see him. He discusses my status in detail. He records everything and has all of this at his fingertips each time I email him or come in to see him. He is personable, informed, and sharp. A real find in a world of hurried doctors rushing to make the most they can make each day. I've been seeing Dr. for many years and recommend him without reservation."
