"Everything went great.
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
did exactly what they said they would do and when they said that they would do it. They also afforded us some much needed flexibility as our schedules moved dependent upon other trades. Even at the "11th" hour when we asked
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
if they could squeeze-out yet another piece of granite to do a hearth, they took the change in stride and still met our schedule. Regarding price,
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
was not the least expensive bid that we received; however, we think the overall value was well worth the price. When the tops fit perfectly; the
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
detail matched seamlessly; and the honed surface finishes came out exactly as we had hoped, we knew we had made a great selection.

"services". The granite was initially "installed" on 12/03/2010...but they had to return 12/09/2010 and 12/17/2010 to do the job as contracted (no chips...cut to contract specs..etc...) They measured and installed granite wrong & large 2 inch chip on front
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
of the granite near the sink that they filled with grey grout. Numerous calls to get them to do the job right!
I called
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
regarding my cracked granite..
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
stated "Well I can come out super glue it & polished it up for you, but it's going to cost you lady"....then added I had a “1 year labor warranty”. No where in contract is any mention of any warranty..(except on sealant), nor was anything signed or initialed by me to this effect. A year later,
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
sent me a copy of the 1 year warranty, and told me "it was supposed to be included in your contract, we screwed up" Most important.. after having multiple problems I had several stone restoration experts and granite fabricators over to inspect/evaluate my granite. Those evals revealed even more disturbing problems. Quote "You paid for a custom job, but got what looks like a China prefab job"
Very Important!
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
did not have the licensed classification to even install granite in
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
2010! They only had a D12 classification on their contractor's license...that is vinyl, fiberglass, epoxy & plastic tile only. Since installing my granite,
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
changed their name, got a new license, and I can't file a complaint with the BBB or with the CSLB because the license they had at the time states "no longer in business".
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
has changed their business license 3 times since in business, slightly change their Company name to avoid negative reports on the CSLB and BBB.
AND...to add to this....
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
NEVER REGISTERED my granite for the 15 year sealant warranty, which they charged me $75 for! Now, Ariz Tile tells me I do NOT have ANY warranty!
There were several seams that were not on the CONTRACT from their field measurement, Told by Virginia Jaggi "seams are at our discretion" Gray grout used on all the seams on "Volga Blue" (black) granite!. ...AND... installed the granite onto a kitchen cabinet that was not centered by the cabinet maker...
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
Enterprises installed anyway, despite now my granite back splash did not meet the counter top by 3 inches. Told me later they knew it the day they measured and upon installation. I had to have
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
remove that granite...make Generation Contracting redo the cabinet, and compromised with
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
on the re-installation because now the electrical cutout didn't match up with the back splash.
ALSO...measured granite wrong above the oven and wanted me to agree to mount a wood board onto to the granite in order to install the microwave! It took several calls to get them back to cut the granite to the contracted measurements!
Less than 13 months from "installation" and the granite cracked from the inside of my dbl sink to the bullnose
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
.
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
ENDED REIMBURSING ME THE TOTAL $5,265..BUT WANTED ME TO SIGN A "CONFIDENTIALITY CLAUSE", which I refused to sign.

San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
was responsive from the very first phone call and arranged for a visit and quote within two days. His crew were all very friendly and professional. They were very careful with tarps and booties in the house. The floors, slab counters and master bedroom shower stall--all in travertine--were cleaned and sealed with little fuss and looked spectacular when they were done. There was an issue with some chemical in the kitchen splashing onto the stainless steel refrigerator and
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
was extremely responsive in looking at it and arranging for a steel cleaner company to repair the damage at his expense--within 2 days! Fridge looks great!
We are having
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
come tomorrow to polish and seal the soapstone counters in the kitchen and laundry. We have every confidence that this visit will go just as well as our previous interactions. I would be totally confident in recommending Stonemasters and
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
to anyone who wants similar services.

"Working with
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
(the owner) was great. He came out on time to give us a quote, and unlike the other bidders who just speculated, actually checked out the framing in our attic to determine if a load was wall bearing. The bid was very competitive, and we had a strong recommendation from a friend who had used
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
Construction for his own remodel.
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
was great in terms of working with us. He was completely flexible in terms of letting us choose what we wanted to do ourselves. Scheduling worked out very well. For example, the drywallers finished on Friday, letting us paint over the weekend, and the cabinet install started on Monday.
Overall, there were no major surprises along the way, and things stayed on schedule. We added some window replacement and a bit of extra plumbing to the job as it progressed, but the original quoted work was completed as-bid. We had a few issues with the electrical subcontractors, but nothing major. The rest of the subcontractors were all great.
We'll use
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
Construction again for future projects, and have already recommended them to friends.

"We were shopping for a great price on
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
Granite countertops, went to several places. Received man yprice quotes. Then we went to Pre Fab Granite Depot and asked if they would match our lowest price quote, that included a free sink, and a 15'' round granite *lazy
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
* round polished cutout. They were happy to match our Lowest price quote!
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
was our job forman and he was wonderful, and so was the entire crew!
The only problem on this job was the backsplashes, they came pre-cut, & pre -made. They did not match the granite at all. As soon as
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
noticed this, he brought it to our attention, then called the office.
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
at the office was right on it; She said No problem, we"ll fix everything, and they did!
They had only laid down the wood underlay so far, so he packed up all the granite, (so we could easily match) and we all went back to the store. We were then told to pick out 4 more slabs of matching granite. They would then go back to our home with them and hand cut our back splashes from those slabs, which they did. It did not cost us anything extra to do this, but it was time consuming because the back splashes now became custom.
We had one seam in the kitchen but just try to find it, it is all but invisible! The under mount kitchen sink cutout is flawless. The cut in the granite for the kitchen faucet is beautifully done also.
We are very happy with the results of the service and workmanship we received on this job and would recommend this company very highly as a result of this job.
The 2 bathrooms are just as perfect, we are so happy! Great Job!

"Not having ever been involved in remodeling before, I definitely needed some hand holding through the process. Both my Designer/Salesman (
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
) and Project Manager (
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
) never let me down. Making the decisions became easier, and I trusted their thoughts and ideas.
The process was just as it was sold. I signed up for a full kitchen and two partial bathrooms in June/
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
, and by the end of September it was all complete. It took about 4 weeks total for the work to be done from demo to completion. My floors were covered each day, they vacuumed each day, and I trusted each one of their workers in my home the times when I could not be there.
If there was any question about the specifics of the work to be done, no one hesitated to ask me - they do want to make you happy and want to do things "right" according to you (example: Where do you want the towel bar?). Of course they are also willing to share their expertise.
The timeline is the most important part. All I hear from friends/family is that contractors are always late, or work based on their own personal schedules. But
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
followed the schedule exactly, and there were no major surprises. I knew each day what was going to happen. Although the actual person who arrived to do the work changed per the schedule toward the end of the process, I understand the difficulties of scheduling so many people so far in advance. The Project Manager visited throughout the process to make sure things were being done correctly and to my satisfaction. Anything I found that was "off" during the process was fixed immediately (a small crack in a sconce for example).
This is a high class business with competitive pricing (for what you get), focused on making the customer happy by not forgetting about the details.

"I love this store.
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
is knowledgeable about eco-friendly supplies as well as very accommodating and helpful in choosing paint colors and finishes. I have bought the Yolo Colorhouse paints from the store for my entire house. Even though I live quite far away, it has always been worth my drive to the
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
store. I would highly recommend it for the quality of the sustainable products they carry, excellent customer service, and value."

"Our kitchen facelift was yet another great experience with
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
and crew at
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
. Their estimate was fair and we got what we paid for. What we also got was peace of mind knowing that we didn't have to micro manage the details. Again, we highly recommend
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
for your next remodel!"
