We did a major home addition and remodel of our kitchen through
, adding almost 600 square feet (extending our dining area and adding a room upstairs).
(who owns the company) is genuine, honest, and down to earth. These qualities really reflect in his business and ethics. Our house was only about 10 years old but we wanted it to be more functional. We wanted a remodel where no one could tell where the old house stopped and the additions/changes began. And this is exactly what we got. We love the end product of our remodel. And we have received so many compliments from our neighbors on how the house really fits into the existing scheme of the neighborhood. While no major remodel is going to be without bumps,
and his team worked hard to make sure we were ultimately satisfied. I am very grateful for
’s involvement with our project.
We are going to enjoy many years of enjoyment from our investment.

I was looking for a granite counter for a small vanity, 20"x35". I contacted
Marble, Granite, and Tile after doing a Google
for a company that carried remnants, because their website states that they have a huge remnant yard and can accommodate jobs of all sizes. I sent an inquiry email and got a minimal response from
, primarily asking what my schedule was and whether I could wait until near the end of the month. I replied that I could and asked about what services they offer. Again, I got a minimal reply, which didn't include an answer to my question. After several additional emails for which I received incomplete responses, I decided to assume that nothing I asked about posed any problems and asked what the next step was, which I assumed would be a trip to the yard to select a remnant. Again, I received a terse reply giving me a cell phone number to call on Saturday morning, the day after
4.
At 9:35am Saturday morning I called the cell number got and got no answer, so I left a message. At noon, after waiting two and a half hours, I called the cell number again.
answered; I told him how long I'd been waiting to hear from him and that I decided to look for another provider. Prior to making the call, I had looked on Angie's List and discovered that
Marble was listed and reviewed. Two reviews were very poor, which confirmed for me that my decision to look elsewhere was a good one.
I received a terse email from
after the call with an apology and a comment suggesting that the
4 holiday had gotten him off track.

San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
and Design is a fantastic company to use for any remodel big or small. We had a WHOLE house remodel both inside and out completed by
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
which included 3 bathrooms, gourmet kitchen, 4 bedrooms with built in cabinetry, crown moldings, new doors, room addition, roofing and much, much more. We worked with

and

Klacka who made the design process fun and the end results very rewarding. Our ideas and desires were incorporated into the design so as not to have just a “cookie cutter”remodel. Our dream house became a reality for us. The subcontractors

used were always professional and respectful of our home. We also had a great project manager who met with us weekly (and really pretty much on a daily basis!!) Weekly meetings are a staple of

. If any problems arose they were taken care of immediately. Our project manager was a great problem solver and was able to fix and/or address any glitches that occurred. The quality of the work and materials used are absolutely the gold standard of the industry.
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
also has taken care of any problems that occur without hesitation and have done so for us even after our warranty had expired. I highly recommend

I wanted to demolish my current kitchen and make a new one in a different room of the house. I had a good meeting with a designer/salesman from
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
who was professional and had some good ideas. I thought I made it clear that I had a limited budget. Then after he left and emailed me the estimate for three different possibilities for a kitchen remodel, I was floored by the costs he quoted. They ranged from $60k-$120k. The cheapest option, $60k, was simply moving some plumbing and gas line to a different room and required additional demolition of a small bathroom and minor construction to clean up that area. The price did not include kitchen cabinets. The quote did not include an itemized list to justify the costs. This estimate was 2-3 times higher than I received from other contractors. I ended up going with a different company, who was able to offer a remodel of half of my home for $60k, including the kitchen with cabinets included, moving my laundry fixtures, making a new hallway, remodeling the master bathroom, and doing cement work in the backyard. The work is about 30% done, and so far, so good!

Overall I had a great experience with WWSI. I believe they are a family-owned (husband/wife) business, and Yanick was very friendly and took her time working to make sure I had something that I liked. The quality of the install was also good, and the granite counter tops ended up looking amazing! The seams looked nice and everything seemed to work together well. I would definitely work with Yanick and
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
again.
They worked patiently with me, and I'm a PERFECTIONIST, so I know that wasn't easy. They also offered a great price (a checked around and compared with many places on both Yelp and Angie's List). If I were to nitpick, my only gripe would be that the stone wasn't as sealed as I would have liked (water was making dark spots), but I just gave a quick spray of sealant from Home Depot and it wasn't too big of an issue. Also, Yanick promised to have the job done by a certain time (I needed it expedited quickly) and
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
's response was "she tells that to everyone." Needless to say I wasn't pleased to hear that, but Yanick must have laid down the business because sure enough the job was done in time and it was done well! I was glad they did whatever it took to make sure my experience was a pleasant one. They even sent very nice thank you cards after. Like I said, overall it was a great experience and I wouldn't be shy about using their services again.

Everything went great.
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
did exactly what they said they would do and when they said that they would do it. They also afforded us some much needed flexibility as our schedules moved dependent upon other trades. Even at the "11th" hour when we asked
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
if they could squeeze-out yet another piece of granite to do a hearth, they took the change in stride and still met our schedule. Regarding price,
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
was not the least expensive bid that we received; however, we think the overall value was well worth the price. When the tops fit perfectly; the
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
detail matched seamlessly; and the honed surface finishes came out exactly as we had hoped, we knew we had made a great selection.

They arrived ahead of schedule (called me first!) and were very thorough and knowledgeable about their work. They did an excellent job repairing the crack in my granite and now my countertops are very bright and shiny. I would highly recommend them!

"services". The granite was initially "installed" on 12/03/2010...but they had to return 12/09/2010 and 12/17/2010 to do the job as contracted (no chips...cut to contract specs..etc...) They measured and installed granite wrong & large 2 inch chip on front
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
of the granite near the sink that they filled with grey grout. Numerous calls to get them to do the job right!
I called
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
regarding my cracked granite..
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
stated "Well I can come out super glue it & polished it up for you, but it's going to cost you lady"....then added I had a “1 year labor warranty”. No where in contract is any mention of any warranty..(except on sealant), nor was anything signed or initialed by me to this effect. A year later,
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
sent me a copy of the 1 year warranty, and told me "it was supposed to be included in your contract, we screwed up" Most important.. after having multiple problems I had several stone restoration experts and granite fabricators over to inspect/evaluate my granite. Those evals revealed even more disturbing problems. Quote "You paid for a custom job, but got what looks like a China prefab job"
Very Important!
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
did not have the licensed classification to even install granite in
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
2010! They only had a D12 classification on their contractor's license...that is vinyl, fiberglass, epoxy & plastic tile only. Since installing my granite,
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
changed their name, got a new license, and I can't file a complaint with the BBB or with the CSLB because the license they had at the time states "no longer in business".
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
has changed their business license 3 times since in business, slightly change their Company name to avoid negative reports on the CSLB and BBB.
AND...to add to this....
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
NEVER REGISTERED my granite for the 15 year sealant warranty, which they charged me $75 for! Now, Ariz Tile tells me I do NOT have ANY warranty!
There were several seams that were not on the CONTRACT from their field measurement, Told by Virginia Jaggi "seams are at our discretion" Gray grout used on all the seams on "Volga Blue" (black) granite!. ...AND... installed the granite onto a kitchen cabinet that was not centered by the cabinet maker...
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
Enterprises installed anyway, despite now my granite back splash did not meet the counter top by 3 inches. Told me later they knew it the day they measured and upon installation. I had to have
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
remove that granite...make Generation Contracting redo the cabinet, and compromised with
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
on the re-installation because now the electrical cutout didn't match up with the back splash.
ALSO...measured granite wrong above the oven and wanted me to agree to mount a wood board onto to the granite in order to install the microwave! It took several calls to get them back to cut the granite to the contracted measurements!
Less than 13 months from "installation" and the granite cracked from the inside of my dbl sink to the bullnose
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
.
San Diego Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
ENDED REIMBURSING ME THE TOTAL $5,265..BUT WANTED ME TO SIGN A "CONFIDENTIALITY CLAUSE", which I refused to sign.
