"
They were nice and they didn’t hound us, but they were very expensive. We ended up going with another company to get the job done. It was a really big job and their estimate was more than what I wanted to spend. They were good. I ’t think they would have moved the bathtub. They were knowledgeable. They had three different people working on it. I would consider contacting them again for a quote.

"The project was completed on-time and under budget. I could not be happier with .There team of guys are friendly respectful and will not disappoint. There quality and working knowledge is obvious. From start to finish they are by far a step above other contractors I have used. I recommend giving them a call before before deciding on any construction project in your home."

" did a fantastic job! He was easy to work with, great communication and was patient when I kept changing my mind. I plan to use him for our next bathroom and kitchen,"

" and his team of subcontractors did an amazing job remodeling our kitchen. We did a ground up remodel, where we also knocked out the wall from the kitchen to the living room, separating the two rooms with a countertop. This really opened up our otherwise 'cozy' living room. The results are nothing short of spectacular and the attention to detail was extraordinary.
The job started with and drafting up a model based on our request of the remodel. The model/draft included AutoCAD type (computer drawings) pictures of what our new kitchen would look like. After feedback, provided a written estimate detailing what he and his team would do and what we would need to provide. We preferred to pick and purchase our appliances and fixtures such as sink and faucets and have do the installs. Other contractors we interviewed included getting appliances, etc, but with we picked everything and saved $.
The job started with demoing the complete kitchen: cabinets, ancient appliances, plumbing, ceiling including lighting, flooring, and the wall between the living room. Next, a supporting beam had to be installed because the removed wall had load bearing posts. had the demo done in TWO DAYS and the beam in within the next week. They were so fast, my wife and I hadn't even started shopping for appliances yet, so we had to catch up. One piece of constructive criticism we gave , was that because we'd never done a remodel of anything before, we would have liked more lead time for when he was ready for items. As I said, they were so fast with each phase, we seemed to scramble to have the next pieces for them.
After the demo and beam, they worked the drywall which is textured stucco. This included matching spanish style arches on each end of the wall, then tying in a perpendicular arch. The result is a work of art and the stucco texture perfectly matches the rest of the house. The drywall included patching over an old doorway from the exterior into the kitchen as well as one window where our refrigerator would now be located. The exterior stucco also matches perfectly. This whole time worked to move plumbing, venting, electrical outlets, switches and gas lines for our range.
Next, the floor was put in. We purchased pretty cheap, but durable porcelain tile from home depot as it is not the focus of our kitchen and we were spending more elsewhere. Even so, it came out very well and 's sub contractor did a great job. The kitchen is a galley style (now more open) so we went for diagonal/diamond pattern floor instead of standard grid/box pattern to add a little style. This made more work for , but he was quick, the grout lines are even and smooth and there are perfect cuts around our cabinet boxes. had the cabinet boxes ready and installed as was finishing the floor.
With the floor done and cabinet boxes in, was ready for us to pick out our granite for the counter tops. We also opted to do a tile backsplash, which was ready to do at this time as well. The backsplash was a bit of a challenge for us to do since neither of us are designers or decorators, so we had to delay and his team a bit as we decided on a pattern we liked. In the end we have already received multiple complements on it, but it was a bit stressful. Some of the tile stores have designers that can work with you (ie Arizona Tile). gave us a good list of 6+ tile companies he recommended, but if you order something not in stock, be forewarned it could take more than a few days. We also picked out the sink so it could be installed under-counter with the granite.
With the granite and backsplash done, next up was plumbing and faucets. We decided to have a countertop disposal button, new disposal, new faucet and an undersink water filter and water heater that both go up to a separate faucet at the corner of the sink. also installed our dishwasher at the same time to tie in the plumbing with the sink (note: the kitchen did not previously have a dishwasher so he had to run the separate electrical to a new circuit breaker, new plumbing, etc).
After the plumbing was completed the team walked me through the fixtures to confirm there were no leaks anywhere. One challenge we had was that the water filter did not tie into the hot water tank and faucet that we chose, so we had to return it and order another one. The second time, we sent the specs to to review before purchasing, so he could confirm it would all match up. I would highly recommend sending him the make and model of almost everything you purchase so he can be sure it will work as it will save you time spent on returns and shipping new items, etc.
was then ready to install the cabinet panels and doors. We chose stylish Plyboo brand bamboo cabinets in flat grain Amber color. When we originally picked the cabinets we originally thought it would look different, but that was based on the sample book that plyboo provided with 4x4 inch squares of samples, and their website did not have enough samples to get an accurate idea of the look. responded with outstanding customer service offering to redo the work if we purchased new materials. In the end we decided to go with the plyboo we already bought and if we didn't like it in a year or so, redo it. Besides, did very custom work where he matched the grain of the bamboo so that each section of cabinets looks like a single block of wood. This includes the corners, which would usually have separate grain ends but he miter the corner joints so that the grain wraps around the sides. It was so well done, Plyboo has asked to feature the cabinets on their site.
Once the cabinets were done, put in the refrigerator (we kept the previous GE Profile as it was the only new appliance in the kitchen before the remodel) and installed the our slide-in gas range. We were going to wait to install the range hood first, but it arrived broken and we waited so long for a replacement, he went ahead and installed the stovetop so that we could start using the kitchen again.
With the kitchen essentially done, the can lighting was installed, with 3 pendants hanging over the countertop separating the kitchen from the living room.
Lastily to tie it all together they painted all the walls.
The compliments haven't stopped coming in."

"Stonegalaxy was very professional and offer extremely competitive pricing. When the templates were created for the countertops, Stonegalaxy was very thorough. The installer ( ) identified potential problems and made some excellent suggestions to correct. The countertops were installed on a remodeled kitchen and the cabinets were not new and installed by previous owners and had some issues. There were some challenges around the installation (including leveling and cooktop inserts ). It was refreshing to have an installer that is aimed at solving the problems. The price for install was very competitive and I would fully recommend them. From template to install took about two weeks (and while this was longer than what others quoted), I was happy with the results."

"Demolition was no problem but when it got to the point where the new window was to go in, we realized that the original drawings were wrong and did not show a large post that could not be easily reworked. The supervisor improvised and we changed where the window would go so that there was no conflict. This was only one example of the superb work and supervision that took place at every stage of the project."

" did all kinds of unusual things for me. I'm an kind of crazy artist type person and wanted him to work with things he usually doesn't do. He was happy to do it and had some very good ideas of his own. We turned a nondescript 1977 track home into a Japanese inspired retreat, complete with a closet lined dressing room. One of these days I promise to post pictures. Everything was always broom swept each evening that he left. So do use . I would in a New minute! "

"We are completely satisfied with our new stone kitchen counters. The company we chose, " " had been highly recommended by another "Angie's List" top-notch provider. made the entire process understandable, affordable, quick, and pleasant. "They were very responsive, helpful, courteous, and professional. Every step of the process was done very well, on time or ahead of schedule, and up to the highest standards. If I had a question it was addressed right away and completely. The crew was in the house for over 6 weeks and they were a pleasure to work with. They kept everything as clean as possible, tidied up after themselves daily and were very careful of my home and belongings."

"Our kitchen cabinets were pretty sad; repainting them no longer worked and the 1960s hinges were falling apart. We have a small kitchen in a small 1964 house, and we decided to reface the cabinets and drawers, vs. new cabinets. We looked at Angie's List and chose . Their salesperson, , was very friendly and knowledgeable, the company had products and colors that we liked, and the price was very good for the amount of work proposed. Measurements were taken, and after a couple of weeks, an appointment was set. The cabinet refacing work went very quickly over several days and , the cabinet guy, didn't leave a mess. (We were having a heat wave; it was over 90 in our house, but that didn't faze , who performed a lot of very precise work!) Towards the end of the 4 days spent working on the cabinets, we went to CCM's granite showroom to pick out the granite slab for the countertops. After this, it was about 10 days before the counters were ready for installation.
Originally, we were going to reuse our old sink. We threw a curve into things when we decided, on the advice of CCM, to get an undermount sink instead. was very flexible and came up with a really nice undermount sink. They delivered it in just a couple of days. The new sink was then installed over the wood underlay, so we had a sink and cooktop again for about the next week.
The day before the countertops arrived, uninstalled our cooktop and sink again. The granite installers arrived the next day and it took less than a day to install the countertops. (They cut the hole for the cooktop on site). Again, they cleaned up afterwards and were very nice folks. (The only wrinkle was that we wanted a tip-out drawer below the sink, which had built, but the tip-out tray originally provided was too deep for the space once we'd changed to the undermount sink (because it's a bit larger than our old one),a nd the tip-out drawer wouldn't close with the tray installed. However, I found narrower trays on the Internet and ordered them - Pacific would have installed them for us, but it was very easy to do myself.
We're very happy with our "new" kitchen - it looks great! These people are very professional and take pride in their work."
