"Found this veterinarian on Angie's list and took puppy in for an initial visit. The facility is not new or fancy and is in an older part of town, but once you get inside you overlook all that. The front desk girls were very personable and interacted well with other customers coming in and out. We immediately liked Dr.
San Antonio Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
who seemed very down-to-earth and not likely to perform procedures that are not necessary (just to run up a bill). His estimate for services was very reasonable. His assistant held and stroked our small puppy the whole time making us and puppy feel totally comfortable. We will be taking puppy in for neutering soon and plan to make Dr.
San Antonio Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
our permanent veterinarian. We are so fortunate to have found Dr.

".Was able to get my new puppy in promptly and was very impressed by the facility. The waiting room is huge with plenty of room for puppy to romp without disturbing other "patients". Everyone I met there was very friendly and knowledgeable. We saw Dr.
San Antonio Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
who was wonderful. Everything was extremely clean. I did get a slight feeling of being "up sold", but I'm sure everything that was suggested was for the overall good of my puppy. My only reservation is pricing. To be fair, I am not too familiar with local area vet pricing as we have not owned a dog in years, then in another state altogether. I did however get estimates from several local vets for some neutering and miscellaneous other procedures and found several lower than
San Antonio Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
. Price is important to me as I live on Social Security and must budget. Had price been no issue, I would likely have gone with
San Antonio Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
for the surgery. They are a great facility! I would overall recommend them.

"This was a Saturday afternoon, and my regular vet was closed. I brought my dog to the
San Antonio Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
Clinic, and after a short wait they examined him and told me exactly what they recommended and gave me the cost sheet to approve. They needed to sedate him to do the work, and were able to complete the work fairly quickly. They gave me an antibiotic to administer for the next several days, as well as collar to prevent him from biting/licking the bandage, and detailed instructions for caring for him. They also faxed all the information to my regular vet for any follow-up care that might be needed. Considering what was required, the cost was reasonable.

"I have used them several times over the past year for my three pets. Initially, I saw Dr.
San Antonio Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
when my older dog suddenly had several slipped discs and nerve damage for her back. The emergency clinic provided the initial care, but Dr.
San Antonio Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
advised me to keep her on cage rest for two weeks, advised about medication and she got much better and was more comfortable. I have used them for routine examinations and shots. The visit I describe above was for my older dog again. She has a thyroid condition and was on medication. This condition needs to be monitored regularly, so she
San Antonio Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
blood and then called to advise me to stop the medication. I had a lot of questions about that and she patiently answered them over the phone. She also listened to me discuss my old dog's health in general and suggested that she might need pain medication on an ongoing basis for her slipped discs. I tried it and I think my dog feels better. She advised me to have my dog's thyroid condition monitored again in 6 weeks and a staff member called at six weeks on the dot to remind me about it. I think they are both good vets and I have had animals for thirty years now so I know what I'm looking for in a vet. The staff are friendly and professional. The office is clean and pet-friendly. There was one rough spot in the beginning when I said I was going to bring my dog in shortly before closing. I arrived twenty minutes before closing (they were going to board the dog overnight), but the office was already closed. That is the only thing that keeps me from giving them A's all the way.

"Dr
San Antonio Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
was wonderful, as was all the staff. They took us right back and did some
San Antonio Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
diagnostics and determined our dog had food poisoning. They treated her with injections and gave me clear instructions on home care going forward. I so appreciate them taking me in at a moments notice, even as a new patient. The cost was reasonable for all they did and provided. I will be using them going forward.

"It was amazing! The waiting room was the cleanest waiting room I've ever seen in a vet's office. The front desk staff acknowledged us immediately and even said, "This must be
San Antonio Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
. We have been expecting her." Wow! We were asked to have a seat. We only waited about 10 minutes. We were called back and Dr.
San Antonio Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
was very thorough. She got
San Antonio Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
's entire history and she LISTENED to us and understood our needs. We got the prescriptions we needed and were on our way. Again, the front desk staff was very personable. In addition, we are moving to a close-by town, and the team was able to recommend a vet to us (although we may just continue to drive to
San Antonio Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Thank you,
San Antonio Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
, for restoring our faith in excellent customer service.

"Wow, I cannot sing the praises enough of the care my cat and I received at
San Antonio Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
. My regular vet comes to the house - so on a Friday night at 4:45 pm, I called
San Antonio Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
to see if they would assess my cat who was lethargic after eating yarn. Dr.
San Antonio Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
immediately got on the phone and told me to come to the office. During the first visit - it was clear that my cat needed emergency surgery. Dr.
San Antonio Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
shared that he could do the surgery - but as they are not staffed 24/7 my cat would be alone throughout the night. As a result - he made a referral for me to the Emergency Hospital where my cat had surgery, etc.
Dr.
San Antonio Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
- who did not know us prior to this incident - followed up the next day to see what happened with my cat and generally showed compassion and care. We had several subsequent visits as my cat continued to run a fever and had no appetite. His competent diagnostic skills did get my cat through this traumatic turn.
If you are looking for a great place to take your loved pet - this is the spot. The office staff are kind and welcoming - but truly Dr.
San Antonio Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
and his caring demenor are the BOMB!

"Very well. This is always a tense time when you pet (aka your furry child) has an emergency. The vets on staff assessed my pet and gave me the options. Once options were determined - they worked up a quote for me. Granted, there was a huge gulp - but they provided a range of costs (low end and high end) and did stick to this range during the care of my cat. The staff who took care of my cat (and me) over the weekend were amazingly courteous and caring - there was never a perception that when i called to check on my cat that i was causing trouble. The vets kept in contact with me throughout the stay and even after. Discharge information was prompty forwarded to my regular vet to ensure care continuity.
I hope you don't need the services of
San Antonio Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
- but if you do, they are an amazingly professional outfit.

"It was a bad expierance. However, they do a good job faxing records to other doctors. They are prompt and accurate when the fax over the records."

"'I moved to San
San Antonio Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
last fall and I brought my 16 year old cat to the clinic for a workup and bloodwork in April 2012. Dr.
San Antonio Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
and the other staff I came into contact with were very kind, caring, and professional. Dr.
San Antonio Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
also has an amazing 'bedside' manner with cats. My cat had always been a hostile patient and he and his staff took it in stride, and other vets in the past have asked us not to return for care! It turned out that my cat had small cell lymphoma. I did spend over $2000, but this included biopsy and bloodwork, plus one cancer treatment, plus regular office visits over 2.5 months. I've never been to a veterinarian who called you personally to discuss care with you. This place is outstanding. My cat unfortunately didn't make it but if I ever get another cat, I will take it to this vet for care. They have a boarding facility but I didn't use it."
