"My mother had just moved into a house where the previous owners had not tended to the yards and let things go.  We needed a lot of trimming and shaping done so we could get to the fun stuff...planting flowers!
San Antonio Tree Services Provider Name Locked
, the owner of
San Antonio Tree Services Provider Name Locked
, gave us the estimate to complete the necessary trimming and shaping.  He went over in detail exactly how he and his crew were going to cut a tree down; important, since it was growning against the front of the house and hanging over the roof.  He also went over which branches he was going to cut on the tree that needed some dead cut off of it, in order to shape the tree and make it asthetically pleasing.  He had the exact same vision I had concerning the

growing in a clump: to trim them up and shape them in an umbrella shape rather than chop a lot of it down.
San Antonio Tree Services Provider Name Locked
also had some great ideas about pinning up some roses growning along a privacy fence so they would grow into a better shape.  He also let me know he could trim up and existing garden area that had gone unattended for some time, to make it look more pleasing.  We agreed to his price, which I thought was extremely reasonable for the amount of work it entailed.

said his crew would be there the next morning at 9:00am and get right to work.  The crew showed up right on time and got to it immediately.
San Antonio Tree Services Provider Name Locked
stopped by to check on things at around 9:40am and to assure us everything was going fine.  The crew was finished with the entire job by around 2:00, and everything was beautiful.  All limbs and scrub were picked up and hauled away and both front and back yards were left clean and neat.  The areas on the tree trunks where limbs were removed were sprayed to prevent bug infestation, even though they weren't oaks.  I consider myself extremely fortunate to have met Mr.
San Antonio Tree Services Provider Name Locked
...he is truly one of the few people out there who deliver exactly what they promise.  He and his crew are curtious, polite, hard-working.  I highy recommend
San Antonio Tree Services Provider Name Locked
to anybody needing tree trimming or removal.

"
San Antonio Tree Services Provider Name Locked
has provided us with service on three separate occasions - lawn mowing, shrub trimming, and pressure washing.  All three times we were extremely impressed by his industriousness, energy, friendliness, professionalism, and hard work.  He performed all 3 jobs above and beyond what was promised, and cleaned up any cuttings.  He doesn't do a lot of advertising.  I happened to see one of his employees wearing the company logo on his shirt and I asked him for the phone number.  We live on the NE side of town.  I will not hesitate to use
San Antonio Tree Services Provider Name Locked
on a regular basis.

Large trees like Douglas firs provide wonderful benefits for your yard, but the bigger they are, the harder they fall. A Seattle-area contractor offers tips to make sure your trees are healthy and not prone to falling over.

Lessons from the Bradford pear trees

Planted extensively in the ’80s and ’90s, the Bradford pear tree became a dominant feature in many subdivisions, on commercial properties and in parking lots. All was well until 15 or more years after planting.

How to plant a tree

'"Right Tree, Right Place’ should take into account the mature size of the tree, not the size you want it to be, as well as ensuring the soil, water, sunlight and climate factors are all favorable for the tree species you are planting,” says Wes Kocher of the ISA. (All photos by Mike LaFollette)

Planting a tree is an easy job, but it takes more skill than you might think. The following tree-planting tips can help ensure you plant a tree that thrives.

"We contacted
San Antonio Tree Services Provider Name Locked
to look at a tree in our yard.  They came out and determined that the tree could not be saved.  They gave us an estimate and scheduled a date to have the tree removed.  They were prompt and finished the job quickly.  They cleaned up the area.  I was extremely pleased with their work.  They also provided the name of someone who could help pick out and plant a replacement tree."

"They are timely reasonable and clean up everything not just what they have caused also the tree debris that is already on the ground. They are really nice and they care for the trees. From my perspective it appears to be first rate. I would use them in the future."

was recommended to my by a landscaper I've used for years. He said

and his crew could really help clean up my beds. Normally I do that type of work myself, but didn't have the time lately. I finally bit the bullet and gave him a call.

gave a really great price and stuck with it. He even was able to start earlier than anticipated. His crew did a fabulous job trimming everything and cleaning up. I will absolutely use them again in the future."

"Each time
San Antonio Tree Services Provider Name Locked
Burns was on-site for a walk-through of the work to be done, along with one of his job foremen, He checked in while the job was underway and when it was finished. Seems to have the same "guys" each time, so he keeps his employees and provides the appropriate insurance and I've seen the company grow without any drop in quality and service. As for the prices, I'm always surprised his estimate is less than I expected to pay. Good company, good job, good people, and good guy."
