"I was given a medication prior to my appointment to help with anxious & nervousness & then another happy pill when I got to the office- The atmosphere in the office was pleasant (as usual)
When I got to the dental chair- I was shaking (even with the meds in me) but as they quickly kicked in, that ....along with the kindness of the assistance & Dr
San Antonio Oral Surgeons Provider Name Locked
- assuring me & reassuring me that I would make it out alive :) & as painless as possible-
I felt a sense of calmness (either that or I was totally drugged up)
Either way- I vaguely saw my tooth being handed from Dr

to the assistant & remember asking, "is that it"??
Point is- I didnt feel a thing! :)
The implant was placed- didnt even know it was there until I saw Dr

"They are really nice and very friendly. My son called the day before and they worked him in the next morning even though they didn't really have an appointment for him."

"The doctor provides amazing customer service. I lost one of my veneers on a weekend, when I had a big event to attend. He met me at his office on a Saturday, and replaced the veneer. I couldn't believe how awesome he was to accommodate me. His pricing seems reasonable, and his staff is friendly and helpful. I will definitely be using Dr
San Antonio Oral Surgeons Provider Name Locked
in the future."

"Their office is top notch and they are extremely professional. I had rather extensive dental work done there and it was almost pain-free. Their office is wonderful. He is actually available by cellphone and he actually answers. His staff and his bedside manner are phenomenal. I had my teeth capped and spent quite a bit of money; they were phenomenal from start to finish. They are great and I tell everybody about them."

"My mother, brother, and I have been doing to see Dr.
San Antonio Oral Surgeons Provider Name Locked
for the past 15+ years. My mother always needs a lot of dental work done and she went through a number of dentists before finding Dr.
San Antonio Oral Surgeons Provider Name Locked
. Although she can be kind of expensive, we continue to see her because of the quality of her work. When working on my mom's mouth, she is very careful not to make the procedure any more painful than absolutely necessary and my mom is forever thankful for that. My dental insurance has always covered routine dental check ups so I haven't personally experienced the additional cost of having a dental procedure done. I do know I went to see another dentist to have my

teeth removed because Dr.
San Antonio Oral Surgeons Provider Name Locked
doesn't perform the procedure in her office, and the dentist had many good things to say about Dr.
San Antonio Oral Surgeons Provider Name Locked
when he found out she referred me. The staff at Dr.
San Antonio Oral Surgeons Provider Name Locked
's office knows me by first name when I call and while I'm there everyone asks how my brother is doing, even though he moved to New
San Antonio Oral Surgeons Provider Name Locked
over 10 years ago. They show a genuince concern for the welfare of my family. They have also gone out of their way to assist me with submitting multiple insurance claims. I've never experienced Dr.
San Antonio Oral Surgeons Provider Name Locked
being late but, admittedly, I usually see one of the dental hygenists. I do like that the office opens early on Wednesdays, 7 am, so I'm able to get an appointment without having to miss

. I gave them a B for availability, though, because the office is closed on Fridays. Overall, the practice is excellent and I have no intention of changing dentists.

"Our family had an extremely disappointing and bizarre experience with Dr.
San Antonio Oral Surgeons Provider Name Locked
. My daughter only needed about a year of continued orthodontic treatment after we moved here, and military friends recommended him. All was well (his assistants provided most of the care), until my daughter complained of gum tenderness and voiced concerns that her
San Antonio Oral Surgeons Provider Name Locked
were starting to cover the bands on her back molars, making it hard to brush. Since she has metal allergies that were diagnosed by her former orthodontist, I inquired with Dr.
San Antonio Oral Surgeons Provider Name Locked
's assistant if this was related to her discomfort. When the tech asked Dr.
San Antonio Oral Surgeons Provider Name Locked
, who was working in the back of the treatment area (which is an open room with about 5 patients and parents who want to observe), he started raising his voice about how this was impossible because braces "don't have enough NICKEL to CAUSE ANY ALLERGIES!!!" By the time he reached my daughter and me, he was highly irritated and rudely dismissed my concerns in front of my daughter, other patients and parents, and his staff. It was mortifying! With each legitimate question I quietly asked (e.g., should she take Motrin for the pain and inflammation), his responses got more impatient and angry so I stopped asking questions. It was truly bizarre behavior, especially from a health professional. Worse, my daughter apologized that she even complained about her
San Antonio Oral Surgeons Provider Name Locked
being sore. I complained to his office manager and told her I wanted a refund for the remainder of the treatment plan that we had prepaid because I wanted to transfer to another provider. They offered to switch my daughter to Dr.
San Antonio Oral Surgeons Provider Name Locked
's partner, Dr.
San Antonio Oral Surgeons Provider Name Locked
, since she only had a few months left of treatment. We did switch providers and were very pleased with Dr.
San Antonio Oral Surgeons Provider Name Locked
's professionalism and care. She explained that the bands can cause irritation in some but my daughter's braces were going to come off very soon anyway. I can't explain Dr.
San Antonio Oral Surgeons Provider Name Locked
's boorish behavior. His office manager said she would discuss this with him but we never heard from Dr.
San Antonio Oral Surgeons Provider Name Locked
about withdrawing from his care. It's never a pleasure to leave a negative review, but Angie's List recommended it would be helpful to other members to discuss my experience even if it's been two years since the incident.

"Excellent (well, as good as a visit to the dentist can be). The facilities are very modern and well equipped. The practice is named "
San Antonio Oral Surgeons Provider Name Locked
Family Dental" and Dr.
San Antonio Oral Surgeons Provider Name Locked
is a superb dentist. They work with insurance and go the extra mile to accommodate an individual's situation. I have recommended them to countless family members and friends and all have become using patients."

"The problem I have with this practice is related to the billing department. My daughter did not receive any medical treatment from Dr
San Antonio Oral Surgeons Provider Name Locked
and therefore I cannot rate his performance only that of his office procedures. I called the office prior to my daughter's appointment to confirm they took my insurance. I explained to the receptionist that the doctor DID NOT show up on my insurance list. She reassured me that they did indeed take my insurance. After keeping our appointment I found out that the receptionist had made a mistake and they did not take my insurance after all, at least not the one we had. I was now responsible for the whole amount of the office visit. I called them in good faith and asked for a discount to the nominal fee since the office had made an error in the information they provided me. They refused and said that ultimately it was my responsibility to confirm insurance benefits. I explained to them that was my original intent when I called them to verify. After repeated calls to the office they refused to budge on the price and I was forced to pay the full amount. Since I was unemployed at the time I set up a payment plan which I have honored by making a payment every month until the full amount was paid in full. Now I received another bill for "late payments" incurred while they were billing my insurance. Patients beware, in my opinion this office is all business and no heart."
