"In a word: TERRIBLE. Owner,

Eissler, and his daughter,

, have a difficult time being honest with their customers. All of the work they performed for us was sub-standard and overpriced. With respect to the leveling and sodding of yard,

did not bother to do any leveling prior to installation of the sod, nor did

bother to

all of the weeds in our yard prior to laying sod over the ground. After the sod was laid, there were significant, large, gaps in the yard and unevenness. Also,

laid sod over tools, trash, sprinkler heads, and even placed large swaths of sod on top of large boulders and rocks where it knew the sod would die. When I pointed these deficiencies to

Eissler admitted the mistakes and then promised to correct them under the warranty. When the one year

arrived,

expressly refused to honor his warranty and multiple promises to me over the past year that he would correct the dangerous, unsightly, and uneven conditions of my yard. I have now had to hire an attorney to pursue

for their fraudulent acts and omissions. With respect to our plant beds,

sold us the same design plans that she uses for other properties -- nothing really custom and special about that. Then,

sold several overpriced plants/trees and materials and excessive amounts of delivery. Like the sod installation,

in our plant beds, and then, tried to cover over those areas with mulch so we would never know. I'm talking about skipping hundreds of square feet in the installation -- and then billed us for the work.

In sum, if you are looking for a landscape company that is dishonest, incompetent, charges excessive money for their "work product", treats you horribly, doesn't perform what it promises, and has no intention of honoring its warranty -- then

Before the work began he showed many photos from his portfoliio, this made the process easier for us as far as making choices. "The whole thing was well planned out. The deck renovation was such a smart idea, we made the deck smaller which left enough room to enjoy the deck with a better view of the pool. This left tons more space around the pool. The concrete was such a better idea than having the unusable and high maintenance landscaping that was there before. Now, there's plenty of room for entertaining and the design brought the focus to the pool and our beautiful view of the greenbelt behind the house."

His was not the cheapest estimate I received, but I selected his company because of his attentiveness and his commitment to quality construction. He started the job when he said he would and finished when he said he would. He was on the job every day, and his people and work are first-rate. He involves the owner in every aspect with a great book of ideas and photos. Tremendous personal service. I wish all contractors were like this company!"

"This work was completed last year. I have delayed leaving feedback because I wanted to see if Gahly would respond to my concerns after the work was completed. Communication is definitely a problem with this company. We were very excited about the ideas that Gahly had, although she is quite abrupt and can be difficult to communicate with. At one point, work stopped for more than a day because of a miscommunication over one item. Honestly, I think we were all talking about the same thing, but she got frustrated and sent the workers home. Then she said they were now on another job and unavailable right away. The work looked very nice when it was done, but within a week one of the caps on the limestone came loose. It was never fixed, despite repeated requests by phone and email. She always has a reason why her masonry guy just can't make it. There are some cracks in areas that make me wonder how long it will last, but it is very beautiful. She significantly over-planted the beds. Although I like the plant choices she made very much, there are way too many plants in the beds and it is hard to keep up with cutting them back. I am going to have to hire someone else to come in and thin it out in a way that still looks good. The trees she planted are nice and are doing very well."
