"My daughter is 18 and ready to get her driver's license, but she lacked behind-the-wheel training and experience and our attempts to practice together were" few and far between. Several of her friends and mine had experience with ' program, so we decided that would be a good way to get her behind the wheel. We signed up (and paid the full program fee) on September 8. 2009. At that time, the office staff assured my daughter that she would be able to complete her training by the end of September. She would be scheduled for 7 two-hour sessions, primarily on the weekends. So far, so good. Her first session came off without a hitch. She was scheduled to drive again a few days later, but was called the day of the drive and informed that the trainer was ill and needed to reschedule. Fine, she chose a different day, and she was able to drive again a second time. From that point on, though, she was called with an excuse for each scheduled lesson and forced to reschedule. This was a bit of a nuisance since she works in the evening at the same time that schedules driving lessons, but she was willing to take time off work to complete her training. Then one afternoon I dropped her off for her lesson, only to receive a call about 15 minutes later telling me that the school was closed and locked up and there was no one around. I tried calling them to no avail. I called their other location near Sea World and was told that they were closed that day due to inclement weather, and the receptionist apologized for not letting us know ahead of time. After that day, on Brookhollow was closed for a week. Their answering machine could accept no more messages. A sign appeared on the front door saying that they were closed due to inclement weather, followed a few days later by a new sign detailing new operating hours. We kept calling and stopping by and were finally scheduled for the final 2 sessions my daughter needed. She was to attend Saturday and Sunday one weekend early in October and would be finished. She showed up for her Saturday session and was told that she wasn't on the schedule but that someone would drive with her; when she finished she told the instructor that she would be back the next day. You guessed it, Sunday afternoon they called and cancelled. That's been nearly a month ago. She has been rescheduled for her final lesson at least three times, but when we arrive there aren't enough instructors to handle all the students or the school is simply not open. I've spoken with the owner, , several times on the phone; each time she reassures me and puts my daughter down for a lesson, but Ms. is nowhere in sight when we show up at the school. I've spoken with at least four other families who are in the same boat as we are - we have paid our fees and are eager for our students to complete their training and receive certification so that they can get their driver licenses. I'm writing this review as a warning to anyone considering on Brookhollow - don't sign up! They are currently enrolling new students for winter classes, but they have not fulfilled their obligation to many of their summer/fall students. They require payment up front, but there is no guarantee that they will provide the services you expect.

"I took the class in March 2006 & purchased my motorcycle in September 2006. On October 23, while driving on Nacogdoches Road near O'" a driver in front of me slammed on the brakes. Because of this class, I knew to apply both brakes and when the front wheel broke traction and started to slide out from under me, to release the brake to allow the bike to right itself. I still had to brake the bike aggressively after the bike came back upright, but the crash was avoided. I did my knee avoiding the collision but I attribute the less severe outcome to two things: the basic motorcycle safety training and the Hand of God (not necessarily in that order). Thought you would like to know I am ONE SATISFIED CUSTOMER.

Visited their school before paying for their classes, it is busy place with teenager learning to drive, did not see any adults students. Spoke with few parents about the school, most of them seemed satisfied with their service. i think it is money well spent.

In April 2011, I picked on Potranco because of the location and price. The classroom portion of instruction went smoothly. Attempting to schedule drive time was impossible. Times were never available. Were told to keep trying. After a while, we gave up. Went back to the school later, paid for another contract for drive time. ...More Was told they had fixed their scheduling problems and would get us a drive schedule within two days. Two weeks later I went into the office and complained again. Only after telling them my husband was thinking of for breach of contract did we get drives scheduled. The driving instructors were professional and nice. Instruction was finally complete Feb 2013. I will not recommend this school.
