"Old driveway was a bigger job than expected as the slab was 7-8 inches thick and it took 2 days, not the one daythat was planned.

persisted and completed the tear out. Pour was done on time and rebar was pulled to the middle of the pad. Overall I would hire him again for any work I have."

"First a tree was removed. The roots were raising our walk to the house, and the driveway.

and crew removed the old walkway and 3/4 of the driveway. Believe our project brought rain to San

told us the aggregate would be a different color than the existing, of course, being new. After a few years, it would blend. Because of that we had 3/4 of the drive replaced instead of just the middle section where the lift was.

and crew poured the project in two sections on two different days, not even two days in a roll. As a result, we had two different colors of aggregate. Hopefully in time they will blend. Looking better each day. don't know if that was

's problem or the cement company's. Seems like you would prepare, and then pour close to the same time. Also

asks for money along the way to buy the aggregate, etc. That was okay with us, but may not be with others. He should tell a customer that he wants progress payments along the way.

is a nice man, and was patient with the delays, as we tried to be. Brick edging was removed along the walkway when the new walk was replaced.

said he would cement the brick back in place. We call and he says next week. A month has gone by, and no

"He tops the other companies we used. We spent a total of almost $7000 on that service. We would just absolutely recommend him to other members. He is the best contractor we have had for anything that we had done around our house so far. We would absolutely use him again."

did great! Long and short would use him again. I called for an estimate on my concrete project. He returned my call within 15 minutes and we set up for an evaluation the next day. I recieved a quote for the bid in 3 days as he stated. His fee was very fair for the work provided. He started 4 days after the quote.

was great on the phone. He was easily to reach, always calling back in a few minutes if not answering when you call. He and his men were always there the days they said they would be and were always early and stayed until that days work was finished. He was great on leaving the work site clean every day. We did payment in cash as we went along. Full project took just over 2 weeks. I looked at the jobsite every night after work, and no steps were skipped. I am very happy with the quality of the work and the knowledge of what was needed where. I will happily refer him all my concrete jobs in the future!"

"Mr.
San Antonio Driveway Contractors Provider Name Locked
was punctual and polite. His initial quote was very attractive in price, but was for a driveway that was well below code requirements for thickness and rebar requirements. I had to check the codes myself and get him to upgrade his quote for a thicker driveway and thicker rebar. He also likes to work on a cash basis with partial payments along the way, which I am not used to. He and his crew did an excellent job on the drive, and were meticulous in getting a good finish and cleaning up very completely. The jobsite was left in excellent shape, and the drive and sidewalk look very nice."

"First off, the owner was a friend of mine who talked a good game and I trusted completely. I initially thought he did a good job on the structural repairs and painting but now there are areas where the paint is peeling. He didn't use primer. Some wood repairs are not aligned because one was put on upside down. He rebuilt my large wooden front porch, but the guys who built it, unbeknownst to me, weren't carpenters and the boards are separating on the porch. He had to rebuild 2 plant platforms flanking the stairs. He repainted them a different shade of gray so I have a two

porch. He said he would fix it, but told his workers not to. The trim is coming off again and they need to be repaired. The workers were careless with my plants and as a result my huge agave which was blooming died and they broke a

vine down to the ground. The gutters were bent and jammed together instead of using the bands to connect them and many need to be replaced. A few months later I had him build a garage with a large workroom. I know, I know, how dumb can you be? I noticed his workers digging and laying rebar used my garden tools and someone stole my wheel barrel and a couple of shovels. He never offered to replace them. When it came time to pour the concrete, he did it himself instead having the concrete sub-contractor do it. I didn't know this until it was finished. The carpenter and crew did a good job building the structure except he did not put in the type cabinets he was supposed to. He did not use primer on the garage floor before painting and the paint immediately started peeling. He took my original garage door, which was in very good shape and never paid me for it like he said he would. He also took an antique window I wanted and never returned it. He did not place an outside electrical outlet where he said he would but said he couldn't because he was going to build flower boxes in the same area. He never did. The workroom window leaks and one of the door locks won't work. He had the final inspection before he did the plumbing and I found out he planned not to meet code requirements. He ran out of money and never did the plumbing. The payment plan was 50% down and 50% on completion. He needed several thousand dollars during construction and I gave it to him. He denied having financial problems and as a friend, I believed him. He never satisfied the contract and tells me he is out of money though I've paid my part. The driveway company, Express Contract Contractors, is just as bad and placed a

on my home when Bill did not pay them though I paid him. I will address them in another post. Bill stopped answering his phone and it took days to get my storage pod delivered because they couldn't reach him either to release it. I've talked to Bill in person several times and he refuses to help saying he's out of money . I am

"I thought he did an outstanding job and I was very happy with his service. I liked that he was able to even out my drive way as well because before he got started my drive way was lop sided."

"The contractor's main source of business was from pouring home foundations for home builders, so my work was not mainstream income. For this reason, it took me two months of "pin pricking" to sign a contract for the work. I was extremely satisfied with the outcome, which occurred while I was deployed to Afghanistan for three weeks. (The contractor did not take advantage of me, and even provided me six Polaroid photos before he poured the "turn around.") After the work was finished, the contractor cleaned the areas of debris, and provided me a 12-month guarantee. The owner of the company,

, insisted on 90% payment at contract signing, because of poor payments by residential customers, which were not his preferred clientele. Since I surprised him by offering him $15K instead of his asking price of $10,500, I believe I received value for my money, if not more. (One neighbor actually came to my home and complimented the workmanship.) I very highly recommend this contractor.

"We ordered our new home and were given an estimated period for completion. The structural work of the house is great and we were pleased with the final work. The big complaint was when we were inconvenienced by a two-month delay we had to move into an apartment until the house was ready. We have been here only a short time and found a few cosmetic things, we called them out to repair and they were a little slow getting to them."
