"They add about twelve to fifteen percent of fees and taxes which almost doubles the bill from what they start with. They are really bad about add-ons. Once I found that there was a dozen that they added-on. I am not sure if the other companies also do this but I get mad about it. "I had been told by a girlfriend of mine last year that I needed to hire
an outside force to manage my late night dispatching calls so looked for
company and I called in to get a quote about a
year or so ago and got a quote. The sales manager
was nice and
responsive also I was kinda scared about surrendering ...more over my phone
lines to an outside agency. He walked me through the whole process about
works. I help manage a towing company and was
mostly nervous about their emergency dispatching and how that would tie
in to our current system.
To put it lightly I was really amazed at not only the quality of the
service but also the style that they delivered it in. Every day when i
got into the office there was a report concerning each and every call
that they took (and take :)). I still use Concorde every day and I'm
very happy with how they have become part of my actual business."

In September my daughter went to college in the Boston area and the
phone no longer worked for her in her dorm room. Since she found this pretty
unsatisfactory, she purchased a Go Phone from another company that did give
coverage. No longer using her
...more phone, she didn't keep track of it and
it was stolen. The person who stole it made long distance calls to the Dominican
Republic ($3500 worth). We didn't know about these charges until early December when my husband happened to call
on some other matter. ( Our credit card auto pay did
not show these charges until mid December because of the long lag time from when charges are made
until they are posted.) Repeated calls to our credit card company and to
have been to no
avail. They say that we waited too long to report the loss and that we are responsible for the charges.
They have no sympathy that we are good customers. They do not care that they failed to notify us about the
unusual charges. We are paying the charge in order to avoid a black
on our credit rating but I
am writing this to urge people to be very careful about cell phones, especially with young people. You
can incur some horrendous charges!! I am now a believer in avoiding family plans and am using a pay as
you go phone for myself and my daughters."
